yes and no. the jamming styles share some commonalities but umph has more of a tendency to "rage" these days. also the electronic-esque sounds umphrey's makes are incredible. (looks for this if you get a Triple Wide.)

i think what will do it for you is how in sync all 6 of them are, Umph is truly firing at all cylinders right now.

Joel also announced the band would play the soon-to-be-reopened Capitol Theatre. I believe that full lineup comes out on August 1st.

The Bort confirms Capitol Theatre show is October 17th.
