Boyd Tinsley has delayed the release of his solo album and mini-tour, a source associated with the band tells antsmarching.org. All the tracks are complete for his solo album, but a decision has been made to wait until after the full band tour for Boyd to tour and release his solo work. At least one DMB member appeared at a recording session to help out with a song. There is no word if that song will make the album, so any guest status is still up in the air, according to the source.
Dave's solo tour is indeed solo, according to a source within the band's inner workings. Tour dates and locations are slowly confirming for this short tour (March-April time period). Only two shows are definitely in now (both in New England), and a source familiar with concert promotion in that area tells antsmarching.org that the 'winning' locations do not have too much input into the dates of the shows. Expect solo dates to confirm in late January/early February.
The full band, 2003 tour will begin with stadiums, a source tells antsmarching.org. The shows will likely begin in mid-to-late June, and the tour will not be as long as recent years, according to the source. Expect a similar run of stadiums from the past years.
