Dave has recently wrapped up his "Dave and Friends" tour, and since the tour finale he has stated in numerous interviews his excitement about getting back into the studio with the other members of Dave Matthews Band. While the majority of tracks will be laid down in the band's newly-built studio back home in Charlottesville, VA, Dave recently rented out a small studio just outside of Seattle for roughly three weeks. And speaking of the band's new C'Ville digs, Boyd Tinsley has been spending some time there recently, reportedly working on the new disc as well. Along with Dave's recent statements about wanting to collaborate more with the band on this album, this information leads us to believe that the band is working towards that goal.
