DMB on the road in 04
Posted by Joe Maliszeski in Tour News at 7:50am on Thursday, Feb 19th, 2004The Dave Matthews Band is back on the road in 2004. The 43 show tour begins on June 17 (same day as last year's summer tour) in St. Louis, MO, and runs until September 4-5 at the Gorge in Washington, (with the usual break in August) according to the Official Site. Florida once again makes it's appearance on the route with 3 dates after being past up last summer tour. On the other hand, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) in NY makes a disappearance from the list for only the second time since 1996. As usual, AM.org will be ready for a new round of the Setlist Game, be sure to try your luck (or skill). Also be sure to add which shows you are planning on going to into Tour Central. Last year Alpine night one had the most AM.org users with 749 (if you don't count the 881 at Central Park). For the first time the Warehouse will be offered a roped-off preferred viewing area on the lawn at many of the shows. Warehouse members can begin requesting tickets on February 26th for Series 1 and 2 and the 27th for 3 and 4. This tour, series are set up by region and not by the date of the show. Tickets go on sale to the general public a month later on March 27th.
UPDATE: livedaily.com reports that there will be more dates added to the tour, so if DMB isn't coming to your neck of the woods, there is still hope.
