Dave Matthews Band sets more Aussie Dates
Posted by Joe Maliszeski in Tour News at 5:00pm on Tuesday, Jan 18th, 2005DMB will be doing some additional touring while they are over in Australia, other then the Festival that was previously reported. Four additional dates so far have been added according to Sony Music Australia, all of which are a much more personal setting in terms of US shows. First, the band will play 2 shows with 2,800 available seats at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne, Victoria on March 20th and 21st. Then on the 23rd the band will make its way north and play at the QPac (Queensland Performing Arts Complex) Concert Hall in Brisbane, Queensland to a seating capacity of 2,000. Then as previously reported, the band will hit the East Coast Blues and Roots Festival on the 24th and round out the dates at the State Theatre in Sydney, New South Wales on the 26th which has a seating of 2,000. UPDATE 1/19/05: AM.org has been made aware that the dates posted on the Sony Music site are not final and likely to change some. We will let you know when there are more official dates.
