Dave Matthews Band Stand Up Preorder

Details on the preorder of Stand Up, to be released on Tuesday, May 10th, have been announced. The album will be offered three different ways: as a CD, a CD/DVD dual disc, and as a digital download through the bands download website. Dual discs contain a DVD side, which includes a short feature of the making of the album plus the album in 24-bit stereo; the Audio side contains the full-length album.

All preorders will included the new silver Firedancer sticker (seen pictured) along with being entered into a contest to win some cool prizes (A Grand Prize of: airfare, hotel and tickets for 2 to the DMB show of your choice as well as a meet and greet with Dave Matthews. Five first runner-up winners will receive a framed, autographed Stand Up poster.) Also those that preorder will receive a special live CD featuring 3 B-sides from Stand Up and 2 songs pulled from the soundboard tapes of the 2004 DMB summer tour. Warehouse members will receive and additional 3 songs).

The Warehouse is also doing a Promotional Code Contest. Each member will be given a unique code to send to friends, relatives, pets, and anyone else that might want the new DMB album in order to help promote the album and at the same time have a chance at getting more prizes. “The Warehouse members who have the promotion codes that generate the most preorder sales for DMB could win from: Five Grand Prize Winners will receive a Golden Ticket that will guarantee a Warehouse upgrade at the show of winner’s choice. Ten First Runner-Ups will receive an autographed copy of Stand Up, and Twenty-Five Second Runner-Ups will receive a DMB hoodie. (No word yet if the ticket is actually "golden".)

No album tracklist is posted on the preorder site, because it hasn't been finalized yet. But this hasn't prevented fans as many have already preordered.
