DMB Opens With High Energy Show
Posted by Jake Vigliotti in Tour News at 6:45am on Tuesday, May 10th, 2005The album release party was a success, to say the least. The crowd at the Roseland Ballroom was full of energy, and DMB fed off that energy to perform 7 songs from the Stand Up album. Dave appeared relaxed and more talkative in the small setting, even recounting a story from the 4.9.93 performance by Carter and himself during a Blues Traveler show. The 5 new songs that debuted during the show all received positive reviews for the most part, and it's safe to say they translated live better than any of the Everyday songs did. Except for a what-seemed-to-be long encore break followed by a dissapointing Everyday, followed up by Steady As We Go, which didn't get the crowd going after Everyday, the show was well received by the majority of fans, both at Roseland and watching on AOL.
DMB begins their summer tour on June 1 in Maryland Heights, MO.
