Stand Up Tour Does Just That

I know what you’re thinking, but technically it is if you're measuring by each year’s tour gross. The 2005 touring year saw the band complete a 37 city-54 night Summer tour, a 12 city-13 night Winter Tour and the expansion of 7 nights in Australia (seems like it was forever ago, and not included as part of the rankings). The band made a jump in the rankings this year even with big acts such as U2, The Rolling Stones, and Paul McCartney touring. The band pulled in a gross of $57 million in 2005 from US touring, up from $41.2 million in 2004, moving the band to 8th on the top grossing tour ranking from 12th the previous year.
