Summer 2006 Tour Dates (Update)

Massachusetts also doesn't have any shows scheduled but look for that to change. Likely the newly renovated Fenway Park will get 2 shows in July if everything (on both party's ends) can be worked out, and if not Tweeter in Mansfield, MA. Last we heard there was to be a vote by the City Council to hold the event. The tour will also feature Randall's Island again this year and a 3night Gorge stand during Labor Day weekend. The tour starts for the 3rd time at the UMB Bank Pavilion in Maryland Heights, MO and will end with 2 shows at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA (expected to be the opening of the new venue). Warehouse memebers will have until March 13th to request tickets, with no show limit this year.
Also this time around the band has announced a majority of the openers at the same time. Earlier the band asked for suggestions for openers though they appear to not have been able to make it happen as a number of fan favorite openers didn't make the list.
UPDATE: The official press release also includes a show on September 6 at Raley Field in West Sacramento, CA. July 7 and 8 are listed as TBA, which as mentioned above stands for "Thopefuly BFenway APark".
UPDATE#2: Robert Randolph & the Family Band has been added as a support act (ie opener) for the end of the tour. (see below) July 28th is the only show now without an opener listed.
