More Studio Work by Dave
Posted by Joe Maliszeski in Album News at 2:00pm on Sunday, Jun 25th, 2006While in Pittsburgh earlier this month, Dave took the day to record some ideas for the new album. He spent nearly 12 hours at the studio called Audible Images with a DMB engineer, likely John Alagia but unconfirmed, according to a local paper. Dave and John got together this past November before the Winter Tour to do the same thing. This time Bruce Flohr has made it a point that the material that Dave had recorded isn't intended for a solo album but for the next Dave Matthews Band studio album. The band spent time in the studio together this March along with Stand Up producer Mark Batson to begin working on the new album which is currently slated for a Spring 2007 release.
