Dave Matthews plays Villain
Posted by Joe Maliszeski in Band Side Projects at 12:00pm on Sunday, Oct 8th, 2006Dave Matthews (or should we say David Matthews), will 'star' in the new indie family drama Lake City, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Dave will play a villain along side Sissy Spacek and Troy Garity, playing a mother and son who have been estranged after a tragedy but reunite under dire circumstance in order to save their home. This isn't the first time Dave has tried the acting route. Because of Winn-Dixie, the last movie Matthews appeared in, hit the big screen back in February of 2005. Matthews also appeared in the movie, Where The Red Fern Grows - which had a very limited release. The filming for Lake City begins this week in Virginia.
