There has been quite a bit of noise in the community since it was announced that the band would be releasing another 2007 show as the latest in the series of Live Trax Releases. Although this is only the second Live Trax from 2007 (there are currently ten LT Volumes), the last two have been from 2007 and five of the ten have been from 2004 on. For the most part, the DMB community is aware of their good fortune; a band that not only allows taping, but masters and releases live shows with such frequency is rare indeed. However, that has not excluded the band from receiving a good brunt of criticism in the name of the lack of shows from the band's early years. Apart from the 1995 Meadowbrook show and two 1996 releases, Live Trax fans have yet to be treated with anything from the band's first six years of existence. This is especially of note due to the initial excitement and expectation of early-year releases when the series was first announced.

Frequently, when a show is chosen as a Live Trax release, its announcement is prefaced with, "Due to popular demand," and is then decried by fans with, "Demanded by whom?" No more of that. We have added a "Live Trax Vote" feature to Tour Central which allows registered Ants to vote for shows that they would buy, should they become a Live Trax release. We will keep band management appraised with the results of the voting, and perhaps influence the decision on which show they release next! This cannot happen without the community, and is a perfect example of sending a solid message about which shows the fan base wants to hear in beautifully mastered goodness. So get your vote on and send a message!
