Report: Coffin In Talks to be Permanent Replacement at Sax
Posted by Jake Vigliotti in Band Member News at 4:41pm on Saturday, Nov 1st, 2008A published report confirms what most people presumed; Jeff Coffin may likely be "officially" the next permanent member of the Dave Matthews Band.
According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Coffin is, "is in talks to permanently replace (LeRoi) Moore as saxophone player in the Dave Matthews Band."
Coffin is a visiting faculty member at the University of Utah, where DMB "guest" Trumpeter Rashawn Ross is a Recurring faculty member, and performed October 31 at the University of Utah as part of a benefit concert.
