LeRoi TShirt PreSale Sells Out

The T-shirt that was available along with the pre-order of Live Trax 14 is just that; 'was available'. Many waited to pre-order and are now disappointed to see the popular shirt has completely sold out of all sizes. The Dave Matthews Band shirt featured the flower sax logo on the front and Fire Dancers with a lotus flower logo  on the back. The flower sax image became famous from the "Flower Power Instruments" Series of posters from the Summer 2008 tour. The poster was originally used for the final show of the tour to celebrate LeRoi's birthday. Only 550 of the posters were made and they all sold out literally minutes after the gates opened to the Greek Theatre. Now the poster trades hands at prices as high as $600.

This is to my knowledge the first time the band has sold out of all sizes of a (non-discounted) T-shirt during a presale or any time for that matter. The shirt wasn't advertised as Limited Edition, and Ants members have spotted a Guitar Flower shirt recently on the store site too. There are current thoughts the shirts will be available on the upcoming tours. Live Trax 14 from 06.28.08 Nissan Pavilion at Stone Ridge, Bristow, VA, LeRoi's last concert performance, is still available to pre-order until 3pm today and all proceeds will be donated to charities in LeRoi's memory.
