Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King Bonus Tracks?

The bonus tracks for Dave Matthews Band latest album,
Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King are listed at
amazon.com, and
Shotgun isn't one of them. The tracks listed are:
- #27
- Beach Ball
- Little Red Bird
- Write A Song
Four Tracks. And before you grab your pitchforks and march on Charlottesville to burn the Red Light castle - stopping off at antsmarching.org to torch our place for saying that
Shotgun would be one, the four-track listing has something in common with the track listing that had Shotgun that we heard about;
#27. So what that basically means is that someone(s) changed their mind(s), and the hopes for a studio Shotgun (and what seemed to be a studio Sister) were put on the back burner. The good news is that it's not difficult to move things to the front burner if they feel the fan-base wants it. So we've got that going for us, which is nice.
Additionally,
target.com has added a bit more info about the
Super Deluxe package. They list in addition to the stuff you already knew about:
- 24 page "oversized" saddle-stitched booklet (Tribute to LeRoi Moore)
- 14 lithographs-original drawings by Dave Matthews; one for each song
- 40 page perfect-bound photo booklet
There will be more added to this
Super Deluxe package in addition to what is listed. However, here we go again;
one for each song. Even the weakest of counters can see that there's
13 tracks listed for
Big Whiskey (and that's counting the 1:10 second intro track
Grux), and 14 is one more than 13. Antsmarching.org has heard rumblings of a 'hidden track', and we're hesitant to mention it, but we figure, we're on a roll anyway, so why not throw that out there.
Who knows when all this album stuff will be made more clear with an
official update, but it'd be nice if one popped up soon.
