Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds debuted a new song Mother of Africa, February 25 in Mexico. Vusi Mahlasela provided backing vocals on the track, which obviously has an African vibe to it (hence the name). Some websleuths learned that the song is from a 2016 documentary entitled Naledi: A baby elephant's tale. The doc follows an abandoned baby elephant and some people's attempt to rescue and raise it. At the beginning of the trailer, you can hear a studio clip of Mother of Africa.
