Not a great venue for music but still a good time. My first Show!

Tour to support the Everyday album, it seemed that the whole show was everyday, it would have been nice for some older songs. OSW as an opener was good. The show lacked feeling, almost as if the band didn't really wanted to play Everyday songs but had to. Still a good show overall.

So many people cried about this show. I thought it was great. The lovely ladies stole the show. What a great "Angel".

Good show- surprised to see the lovely ladies! This show may be an option for Live Trax!

First show. I am a DMB fanatic but this was one of their poorer showings. The show was very mellow. They never really seemed to jam and didn't seem like they had a lot of energy. It was also one of the Everyday crowds from the 2001 tour. They didn't know any older songs but loved I Did It, TSB, and Angel. Ants a close saved the show.

Terrible venue, not-so-hot show. The highlight was Ants, in which Dave screwed up the lyrics. That was the most entertaining part of the night probably.

The last of my 5 2001-Tour shows, and more of the same but I still had a great time. At this point, some Everyday songs had more than worn out their welcome, while others were finding their place. I think this show was sullied mainly by the extended Angel jam with the Lovely Ladies...

Truly awful.

This was my first dave show. It was a good show, but the venue was just too big. I much prefer to see him at other Atlanta venues.

My first Dave show and I had nosebleeds. I really couldn't get into it. It was right after Everyday had came out and they played alot of those songs which I didn't know. The lovely ladies we're there and that was a little anoying. I did enjoy the show though...

This has to be my least favorite Dave show. It was mostly everday stuff, not the good classics. I actually had warehouse seats which were very good close to the stage. I hated the backup ladies. Stay lasted way way too long. The only good part was the Ants Marching goof up.

The only time I have ever felt like a DMB show was horrible. Bad venue, horrible setlist, and band lacked energy.

I think i sat down the entire show. It was a good show, but I was hoping for more "energy-type" songs. You know...songs that make you want to get up and dance.

worst experiences i've ever had at a dave show....sound was horrible - the echo off the grandstands was terrible, hated the ladies on back up, seemed like they were more of the show than dave, just not the best experience all around

User: gsfmkcd

Poor acoustics in a stadium, but I had a great time anyway.

This show was kind of a let down, but it redeemed itself at the end. The band was definitely into it, but they were just real mellow. The crowd never really got excited. Once the guys picked it up, it slowed back down. The show ender and the encore were all that really got people excited, and the encore was truly fantastic.

Row 3 sounded great...until we got down there and found ourselves sitting so far to the left that we could only see 'Roi and Dave. The Band seemed uninspired. Or maybe it was just us. Turner Field is NOT a good place to see a show regardless of seating.

A gift for Burton I managed to get great tickets only a few weeks before the show. We were on the field about 15-20 rows back a little to the right of the stage. What a show! Not so much hits but what a technically proficient show. Only time I've seen lady backup singers. Long Black Veil was incredible, especially for a girl who grew up listening to country and the daughter of a Johnny Cash fan!

Not the best live concert venue but another great show!

Set List and Band were top shelf, but venue sucked. Terrible place to see a show. music (when heard) was damn good though.

User: Jonesie55
Review:
The set for this show was only average as far as sets go. But perhaps the biggest disappointment was the awful crowd at Turner Field in this my third show ever. I'd like to attribute this to the fact that the show took place in the much more spacious Turner Field stadium (as opposed to Lakewood Amphitheatre in previous years). The overall experience, for me at least, may never be matched, simply because my best friend and I were upgraded to front row during Macy Gray's set, which by the way was terrible.

41, Long Black Veil, JTR and a Phish cover....what more could a guy want? This was definitley the biggest venue that I ever seen the band at live. I didn't really enjoy it as much as a smaller venue, but still a great show.....

I really enjoyed this show and the setlist. If I remember correctly my fav was JTR, I love that damn song. When the band played Ants and Stay everyone was dancing on the dugouts, it was insane.

Now I don't know why, but I think the Big Eyed Fish was named differently cuz it turned into Monkey Man from the Lillywhite sessions. I know I heard it that night and it was Sooooo Awesome.

Kind of dissapointing for a first show (I think it was because Turner Field is so darn big), but I'm glad I went, there's no place else I would have rather been. Anjelique Kidjo opened and she was great!

This was the worst DMB show I went to. DMB didn't do anything wrong, it was Turner Field! Horrible place for a music venue. Acoustics sucked, the stage was in the outfield. Cops outside were busting everyone. I will never go to a Turner Field show again.

By far the worst show I've ever been to in my life. With only 3 songs that were not from what was TO be busted stuff (a la lillywhite sessions) and everyday, I felt ripped off. I'm just glad I got super drunk because this show SUCKED. Compared to the 08/20/98 show in Atlanta - the best show ever....I could not have been more dissapointed. Stefan took off his bass after Everyday and wanted to leave because the crowd was so furious with the set. And Macy Gray as an opener? really? Barf.

User: sweethoney
Review:
This was probably the worst show I've been to--not because of the guys per say, but because Turner is simply way too big! I think someone overestimated, because the sound was terrible and not nearly as many people filled up as many seats as there were. In addition, it was an Everyday Tour show, so I felt it was so-so. Still had a great time of course though--had 7th row seats.

User: TeddyBouncer
Review:
Had decent seats, 2 rows back in the near bleachers, stage left. Was there with my best friend (at the time). At the time, wasn't excited about hearing stuff from Everyday. Looking back, I love these songs live as much as any other song live.

My first Big Eyed Fish. First Stay. Great version of Ants with Dave messing up the words. Otherwise, my least favorite of all the shows I've been to. Turner Field is a terrible place for a show.
