Absolutely the best show ever. Went with Mariko, met up with Niki and Mar. Encore was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed. Just as @ step started, so did the rain, and it rained hard. Then came the thunder and lightning all thru the song. as soon as the show was over, the rain stopped. Like nothing you could ever imagine. How great is this band??? FUCKING GREAT

Unbelievable. Threatened to Tstorm throughout the whole concert - the air was pregnant with humidity and anticipation of a storm. It wasn't until the Two Step encore when the whole sky just opened up. Thunder, torrential rain, HAIL! DMB played with a frenzy, as we thrashed in the rain feeling small hail pelting our skin, the ecstasy off finally being cooled from the day's sweltering heat. I never felt such energy and excitement at any concert moment in my entire life, and that memory will always remain with me.

my 2nd show. the whole night he had been hinting at rain and then during the encore and intro to Two Step he summonsed the "heavens to open up and let the rain wash us all away." then there was a bolt of lightning and the skies opened up to a ridiculous thunderstorm with lightning and thunder 5-6 times during the song. watching 70000 people rock their minds out to two step in the rain in giants stadium gave me goosebumps and was quite possibly the best moment of my entire life.

Best DMB concert ever, no hyberbole. Great set, BEF into Bartender was great, but the concert was made when two step started. Right as the song started it began to rain and as the song got faster it began to hail. Right when the song ended the hail and winds stopped. It was a religous expeirience and fit perfectly with the song ("we climb on two by two" having to do with noahs ark and the great rain). Amazing concert.

This show is still the best experience of my life. Good show in general but the encore was rediculous!!! Being in the nose bleed seats, you could see the storm and the lightning in the background above the stage coming toward us. Opens the encore with the space between and Dave gets us going nuts when he sings "Like will it RAAAIIIN today." Goose bumps people. Then of course two step starts and so does the hail, lightning and thunder, and the craziness. Top view of the floor seats were amazing because everyone is jumping up and down on the floor, the rain is dumping on everyone and the band is playing with the rain splashing on them... so amazing!!!!!!!

I was just under cover of the 3rd deck, and quite wasted for most of the show. I remember little things, like Rapunzel on the electric, and some of the new songs...but I never saw much lightning. I didn't actually know what was going on until Two Step started, and then it became obvious we were getting dumped on. One of the more memorable experiences for me personally. Not everything that the fans make it out to be. Disappointing show overall.

First show of any band ever. I was in 8th grade and LOVED DMB. Went with Aaron, Randy, and Ratul. My mom drove us. We were 15 minutes from Giants Stadium when I realized I forgot our tickets. My mom drove us 30 minutes back home so I could grab them, then 30 minutes back to the venue. Macy Gray was finishing when we got there. They played so many songs I wanted to hear. I was elated.
One quibble is that Ratul got nervous when the rain started coming down during Two Step so we sprang for the exits. Present-day me would not have stood for such nonsense but I didn't know better at the time.

The mother of all DMB shows. Put it this way, I have the concert review, my ticket stub and pictures from the show framed and hanging on my wall. The review says its a moment that will go down in concert folklore. It was voted the #1 music moment of the summer in NY. What am I talking about? The encore of Two Step with DMB and Mother Nature working in tandem. Amazing. Almost a religious experience. I have never seen anything quite like it and a crowd so swept up in the experience. This is like a great ending in a sports game overshadowing an average game. Lost in the shuffle was another awesome Boyd solo on LIOG. The only drawback of the night was a painfully long version of Angel with the Lovely Ladies. Of note was DMB played Granny with completely different lyrics.

I have witnessed the greatest sight I have ever or will ever see at a concert or anywhere else for that matter. The Two Step in the monsoon/thunder/lightning/hail storm was the most inspiring awesome moment of my life. It was surreal. I am writing this review, nearly 3 years after having attended. THAT is how AMAZING this show was. The TWO STEP encore, with the rain drowning our mouths as we tried to shout the lyrics over the sound of the crashing thunder and lightening... 70,000 people immersed in water, being baptized by the music and having one thing in common - their love for this band. The greatest moment of my life... the greatest concert experience of my life. On on the way out the doors, you could hear the chants "Dave! Dave! DAVE!" Guess you had to be there...

One of the best shows ever. Lie In Our Graves jam was great but the real highlight was the storm. It rained so hard during Two Step it hurt. As soon as the song was over, so was the rain but no one cared. Everyone was on cloud 9 and in such a good mood that they knew they were just part of something special that will go down in DMB history as one of the best concert moments.

awesome show. first time seeing them outside philly, which was fun. hearing the everyday songs for the first time was interesting, cause i didn't really hear any of the ones i really liked. fortunately a lot of them have really cleaned up since then, and so i kinda think it's cool i have memories of how they've evolved. well, i won't bore you with a long drawn out account of the famous Two Step, however, it WAS the coolest thing ever, you DID miss one of the greatest events in DMB history, they DID say it was one of their favorite tour moments the whole tour, and it WON'T ever happen again, don't let the people that are bitter about not being there tell you different, lol. i'm just kidding about all that, but it was unreal.

My second DMB show...and I admit to still only knowing a handful of songs at this point. However, feeding off the crowd (and the crew I went with)...I began to understand "it". And by "it" I mean the magic that is DMB in concert. Lucky for me...this concert would end with the now legendary "Two Step" in the rain. As has been said before a hundred times...you had to be there. If you weren't, then there's no way you can understand what it was like to see the skies open like they did...and see both band and crowd feed off mother nature like never before. I didn't want to admit it at the time...but I was hooked. Plain and simple. And yes, I knew there would never be another moment like that again no matter how many concerts I attend.
