I must have this thing about choosing Dave shows when it rains. This was the second (not last) straight show that it absolutely poured the entire time. Macy Gray was a cool opener. The band rocked despite playing a better setlist the night before. However, after leaving the show this one was my favorite show attended thus far. That would all change soon though.

Butch’s solo on All Along The Watchtower was epic. If you listen to the IEM recording, Dave and Carter tell Butch “what the fuck?! It’s like the devil got inside you!” (Or something like that). They were both blown away.

first ever Dave show, first concert in general! Great to hear #41 and Warehouse at the show. Still the first and only time to have heard Warehouse live. Rained right up til the show started...pretty cool.

Unlike the first night...the weather sucked.
It was pouring out...the ONLY bad thing about stadium shows...you never know how to dress.

Starting the show off with JTR was great!
The fans were so loud singing along to "RAIN DOWN ON ME!"

First concert I ever got stoned for. The stadium concerts suck though. Best advise would be to go only if you have seats relatively close to stage.

i loved this show....floor seats were awesome too. it rained, like always at foxboro...so opening w/ jtr was only natural. the everyday mixed w/ 41 was very well done. mother father was a pretty slow song--bathroom breaks. everyone was introduced during angel, so ppl got a little restless. warehouse got ppl excited and to their feet, awesome. stay was a foxboro tradition, and i so called that one. encore was rocking....afm was beautiful, good job boyd, and ants was so amazing. someone gave dave necklaces and stuff, so he was wearing that and screaming like he'd never done before.

DAMN, that's all I could say after this show. The final show at Foxboro was full of all the DMB closers you could ask for (minus Two step and Tripping Billies). The non stop energy kept flowing throughout the down pour for the first 5 songs or so (allowing JTR, 41, DDTW, and So Right to be amazing as we're all dancing in the rain). The non stop power of Warehouse, WTWE, and Watchtower was only paused for a second in STDH before Grey Street kicked us up again. A treat was Boyd singing Angel from Montgomery. This show (and the previos foxboro show) are the two shows featured on the DMB european interviews. Unfortunatly due to the rain I have yet to find a recording of this that does the show respect. It was still an amazing show, and I have pictures :-D

this was my first show, it was in between my junior and senior years of high school, it was a rainy day and macy gray was horrible. DMB was amazing and ever since i have been hooked, I've been to at least one show every year since, except 2002.

People are obnoxious, traffic is brutal.

Damn great show... the best part... one of the tour guys got me backstage to help out with tear down. You could have shot me in the head that night while I was on their stage, and I would have died the happiest man on earth! What a great time!

My first ever Dave show, I was 10, dont remember much. But i do remember some songs, they were fantastic to see live, still to this day they are my favorite band.
