Flew out to Chicago to visit my frinds and to see DMB. Had an awesome time with my ex-gf Amanda and her friends. DMB was awesome, athough I think this is the only show I ever left early. I really had no need to hear DIDO again for a show closer.
Oh and the drunk little Barbie girl seated 2 rows ahead of me with the rice crispie treat stuck to her ass made the show memorable.

My First DMB show. We missed Ozamatli, major bummer, and made it in to see the closer for Ben Harper. Damn parking 2mi away, and traffic. AMAZING show! Words couldn't describe. I wouldnt be half the fan i am today without this concert! BEST LIOG EVER. FIND THIS SHOW AND JUST LISTEN. wow!

Ben Harper was a great opener and he really got what crowd was already in the stadium going. The new songs were cool and being on the floor with Jen, Justin, Carolyn & Chris was also pretty cool. The uncoolness came from the fact that it was my first day off crutches and walking and standing and dancing became increasingly difficult, the more swollen and painful my ankle became. I started to get a little crabby and to have less and less tolerance for my fellow show goers, especially the clown behind me who spilled his mai tai and tried to blame me for it. It was also a huge pain in the ass to get from the floor to a bathroom and to a beer line and back to the floor. But after I got back to the apartment and got my ankle soaking in a bucket of ice, things were much better.

Went to Nellie's apartment before the show, saw Steve.., and took the cab across a bridge then got out on the way to Soldier. Great time.

This is still the sickest show I've been too. Had 13th row right on the field. To watch Ozomatli open up and start from one end of the field to the stage was ridiculous. Those guys know how to blow a crowds mind no matter how many people were there. (after they got off there was a sweet little jam session in the breezway). Then Ben Harper. I had never heard his music until then. When he started "BUrn One Down" I about lost my mind. It was one of the greatest feelings I had ever had hearing a song for the first time. Thanks Ben, for everything!!
Now on to the boys. For the record this was my 2nd show I had ever been to and I travelled all the way down from Minneapolis with my friend and the party never stopped the whole way down. To open with #41 was stellar, but then we got a #40 and a #36??? Fahgeddaboudit!! Two Step was awesome as always and I loved hearing Digging a Ditch. This was also the first time I had ever heard Grey Street and my first thought was that this was some theme song for an up and coming tv show. Too funny.
I'll never forget this show, it ranks up in my Top 5 for sure!!

Survived a 7 hour car ride from STL and a little argument with Susan and just made the show on time!! Great fun at Soldier field with Natalie and Rob!! Freestyle walking on the way home and a burrito as big as my head! But no cheese fries!

Had 10th row center seats and when we arrived all the chairs had disappeared in the middle of of section and it was a hugh mosh pit. Had a great time - no need to sit at a Dave show but a have a feeling there were a few poachers in the group

This was an intense show sitting on the Field. With tens-of-thousands of people behind me... when Dave was singing Watchtower, "Two riders two riders approaching, The wind began to howwwwwllll!!!!" the whole crowd was screaming... felt like I got hit in the back of the head. Amazing.

Very interesting story about this one. We had 4 tickets back in Section J, about half way back. Well, our row happen to run into one of the towers. We had seats 16-19, and the row truly only went to seat 17: we were 2 seats short! So we found an usher, they confirmed our missing seats, then moved us up to the section C for our inconvenience. Very very nice! First time I could see facial expressions. Show was a little lack luster though. Maybe I was still too new to the Dave live thing. I mean, they were debuting Lillywhite Session songs, and this was only my 3rd show. For some inclining reason, it seemed as though Boyd and Dave were in a tiff. The band didn't seem together that night. Maybe it was first time anxiety about Soldier Field for the first time... who knows... I had a good time, but definitely ranked one of my lowest Dave concert of about 30. No stand out tunes this night.
