I think this may have been the first time dave played Everyday during his #41 outro. The boys played Cortez the Killer and I was blown away by the Carter & Dave duet on Halloween encore.

Traveled to Chicago with Jill and Kelly to see two shows. Both were great, the crowd was very nice but very chatty.

Highlights I remember were The Stone opener, Best Of What's Around, JTR, True Reflections, #41 w/Everyday outro, Cortez The Killer, Grey Street, Watchtower, HALLOWEEN (Dave & Carter), and Two Step closer.
"The" show..the show I died if you will. I was pouring sweat and could not stand up. Took Campiani's drink and finished it off, then he yelled at me. Funny moment. I came to near the end of the set. Munching on nachos during #41. Then my heart skipped a couple beats when I got none other then the devil. H A L L O W E E N.

Long drive the morning off = kind of in a grumpy mood. Had a lot of issues with my girlfriend at the time: she totally ditched my ass saying she had to study for finals. Study for finals??? That would've been okay if not for the fact that the finals she was refering to were still over a week away! Totally pissed me off... I was in a really bad mood for this show. Probably one of my least favorites of ALL of them. They opened up with The Stone which I don't really think is a great opener... it's just to dark to start off with. Best of What's Around is nice, except it was so early in the show I was still in my bad mood. I don't think I really got into until Dave and Carter came out to play Halloween. That was TOTALLY KICK ASS! Dave comes out and says, "This is a love, y'all"... or something like that... and then he plays Halloween! Strong orange lights and very menacing. At the time, I had no idea really what the song was about. But I got soo into it, and it was really relevant to hear (considering what was going on with my feelings). Awesome awesome awesome! That song made the whole show worth it.

First Dave show, wasn't such a huge fan at the time so I didn't know that this show was amazing. Now looking back it was the best one I've been to as of 5/18/03.

The stone is a great opener and it was my first show that I heard #41. The cortez the killer version was solid but could of done a little better. It was all made up when dave and carter came out and did Holloween and finished out a spectacular show my favorite out of a decent amout of shows.
