I remember getting there early to grab my seat; I was meeting another couple friends there, but didn't wait for them to sit.
I sat in the wrong row originally (in the pit) and was in awe of D & T sitting right in front of me!! It wasn't until after the first song or so when I realized I hadn't seen my friends yet, and how I had the wrong row so I moved back a section (still orchestra seating) where my friends were - lol, oops!
Still, I was in shock how people showed up LATE for this show … eventually it filled up, but nothing like other shows I've been to. Of course, D&T were still a little unknown in the area, so that played to my advantage.
I also remember being in awe of Tim's skills – it was only the second time I'd seen him perform solely with Dave, and his talents blow me away to this day.
I was also 6-mo preg. with my first daughter at this show, so she was with me and likely heard it all!! Their performances as Utica's Stanley Theatre will always be very special to me since it's right in the city where I work.

I think I remember feeling like this show was the downfall of D&T from the "audience behavior" perspective. No more silence during songs and quiet parts and stories; people just wanted to hear their own voices and ruined a lot of good stuff.

Dave and Tim intimate setting. Besides the drunk college kids trying to catch Daves attention including myself. In the tape you can hear me yelling "don't drink it" and Dave rambles "yes I knew I forgot a word in that song Dont Drink the Utica water" confirming a local myth.

Again, I don't remember too much. It was a long time ago. I seem to recall Dave was acting strangely. Great show anyway.

i was only 13 at the time....so didnt know much of him but...
my father was the stage manager of the stanley at the time....and i got to sit in on sound check and enjoyed it so much i begged to be let into the show....ive been a fan ever since..<3
