Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds|
January 29, 1999
Landmark Theatre, Syracuse, NY
I had the flu and drove after school from Rochester to Syracuse. I was so hopped up on cold medicine I was a little out of it and must not have been paying attention to the 86 mph I was doing on the thruway. I got pulled over and that's always fun. But once I got to the show I didn't even feel the flu. It was amazing. Then after the show ended, I felt the effects of the flu again. What a great medicine this show was.
Best accoustic show I've seen. Even though Dave had an obvious cold, he and Tim gave a stellar performance.
what a beautiful show. just to sit in such a small place and have dave interact with the crowd. beautiful!
All I have to say is that I heard the first Bartender. Dave was just getting sick for this show and he talked about it a little. During "I'll back you up" you can hear his voice scratch a bit. He took the next few shows off, so we got lucky to hear his just before he fell ill. Great show in a beautiful place. The story about his trip to Brazil was funny...
great show. "if i had a boat" made my night. great small venue where u can just smoke at your seat and not worry.
double fisted scotches -1st Bartender ever played had a lot to live up to after Utica, but came through. Never got off the bus again after this.
I was in the third row! These were the best seats I have ever had for a Dave show.
fIRST EVER BARTENDER
One of the best shows ever. Very happy to be a part of it. I still remember the idiot yelling "Free Bird!"
Classic Dave and Tim
another good one
My friend screams Drinks SAMBUCA to Dave after he said "it is the cold and flu season and I have the cold ad flu"
