They played that summer in for over more than a half million people. The opened fot the rolling stones and played at Parkpop (400.000 people. But they played also in the Melkweg, a small venue in the hart of Amsterdam for 16 dutch guilders, nowadays nomore than 10 US dollars. It was a great show to see them live and so close.

After the dutch police helped me make a sign pleading for a ticket i was graced with a face value seat ($12) with crazed americans and brits throwing the equivalent of $ 200-300 in the air hoping for a ticket...
Amazing first live DMB experience - after listening to them since 95 the explosion of them live in this 900 person venue was addicting. A bar in the back - huge J's flying around the room...great energy - heavy btcs - small stage so the guys were really close in - they were diggin it too.
