3 days of DMB opeing for the Grateful Dead! Mind blowing indeed. After 13 years its hard to recall the specifics of these shows. I was on Dead tour at the time and was really psyced to see Dave. I was just starting to know the names of his songs having attained a copy of Under the Table, so these shows are special to me because they were he first where I actually knew the music. Oh yeah, there were also a lot treats in the lot thanks to the heads.

WOw what can I say, 20 years old drove out for the dead from Illinois. Camped in a full-size chevy van with 5 guys. ates bunch of acid and found my love for DMB.. this was my 3rd Dead Show and 1st Dmb show, I am now officially hooked on DMB... I usually dont hit openers but I got lost form my friends while on acid so I decided to just go in and enjoy my buzz, Thank God I did!!! :-p

This was my first DMB experience and I've been a fan ever since. I went on a 'Bad Trip' and left the stadium before the Dead played.

Seek up was unreal.....Out of the Grateful Dead's Sound System. During the vocal jam..it got very loud and panned all around the stadium.
One of the greatest things I've ever heard.
They showed up The Grateful Dead that fine may day. No Shit.

Dave opens up for the boys nuff said!!! I was dancing on the left hand bleachers when Dave and three really big security dudes walk by. I think he was getting a great big kick out of watching the heads do thier thing.

I used to camp out every Memorial Day weekend in the parking lot at the Silver Bowl because the Dead played a 3 day set....This was my first time seeing Dave live and I was amazed. I have been all over the country to see them since.
