The show was good. Went with people I didn't really know and got side tracked a lot. My view was terriable from the lawn.

Show was decent, however certainly not up to par with most of the Riverbend shows. By the way Dave butchered the lyrics to the Stone. Nice to hear Proudest Monkey, it had been a while since I got that one.

Also a great show, I was able to go backstage after the show!!! I didn't meet Dave, but I met Boyd!

This show was pretty cool. I met some interesting people in Ohio. Crush a great opener, and Watchtower was amazing. Fonz wailed on the bass

This Riverbend show was enjoyable, with a set list consisting of several of the best songs from the latest album and many of older songs that are among my favorites. I heard What Would You Say live for the first time, but it was by no means the highlight of the show. The first peak for me was lyrical finale near the end of Grey Street. That's when the concert began for me. I heard Living Wings for the first time; a great highlight of the sax. The Big Eyed Fish -> Bartender was somewhat standard fair. The long lull of the groaning violin as Matthews switched guitars really built anticipation. Butch Taylor's keyboard work at the end of the piece really adds a lot of value to this song. Dancing Nancies was my favorite part of the show. I love the song, I have some great memories from when I'd heard it live in the past, and those memories were proven to be as great as I rememberd them based on this performance. This is probably my favorite DMB song to hear live, espicially when Boyd Tinsley is ON. There are always subtle and sometimes not so subtle differences in his solos. This particular performance was more of a driving rythm. Two Step had an very long keyboard display that allowed Butch Taylor to shine. The total song length was 15 minutes (?) and led the audience through highs, slow sections, and virtuoso solo displays. An perfect end to the main protion of the concet. Watchtower, a regular closer, showcased Stefan Lessard on the bass, as has been customary for several years now. His opening solo was more pronounced and clear than the last time I heard it played two years prior. A nice evolution of his intro. A perfect ending to a show showcasing both old and new.

Drove up from Knoxville that day w/my girlfriend w/o any tix. Found plenty in the lot but they were asking ungodly prices for them. Luckily the cops were close by and the scalpers decided to drop the price just to get rid of them. I bought a pair off some guy who originally wanted $250 for the pair (lawn seats, by the way) for only $75. One of the rare times a police presence worked to my advantage. And the show was SICK!!!! Hunt this bad boy down if you don't already have a copy.

Show has mass energy. Crush was quite the surprising opener!?! Nice to hear Loving Wings live...nice solo work by Roi. Everyday had the nice "Hani, Hani" touch at the beginning and the end jammed right into #36 and actually ended as #36 not Everyday. Very nice to hear live. Watchtower...the Fonz started with the Star Spangled Banner. Awesome version, nice end to a great night!!

WOW! Amazing venue! Well, at least inside the venue. Outside the actual viewing area of the venue was horrible. Only one bathroom per sex? But anyway, the show was great. NANCIES was a real treat! They hadn't played this one much on the tour and it was a real treat to see! Especially when Boyd came over to jam w/ Dave and then over to jam w/ Carter! That was the highlight of the show...easy! I will say that it was kinduva weak encore though. No solo acoustic performance by Dave (which was kinduva let down...espeically because I was dying to hear Gravedigger), but then again, I did come to see the full band so I really shouldn't complain. Anyway, had a great time...it was well worth the drive from California! See everyone next year at a Bay Area, California show!

Been attending DMB shows since 1997, and would have to say this has been the best show...excellent mix of old and new songs, butch taylor was on every song which mixed things up...awesome version of two step and watchtower...this show beats dmbs opening show at charlottesville in 2001 hands down....

This was my first DMB concert. My brother had no one to go with so he asked me to go. I was not so familiar with all of the songs yet, but I was a big fan of Crush. They opened with Crush and that made my night. I enjoyed the rest of the evening a lot. It was a great concert!

Amazing show (nearly 3hrs)! Out of the 16 shows I've been to this ranks in the top 3 I believe (behind 6.23.00 - Deer Creek and 8.9.98 - Deer Creek)! Nancies, Two Step, Crush, Watchtower, Everyday/#36, BEF-->Bartender, and ON and ON!!! Great show!

This was my first ever DMB show and it was the beginning of my obsession. I didn't appreciate it at the time but looking back on it, it was the start of my discovery of the greatest band in the world. I got intrigued by this show and hooked two nights later at Deer Creek.

Great show, kindest crowd in years. 4th row in the pit thanks to the Warehouse! The most beautiful weather imaginable here in Cincinnati in August... Crush opener was solid, old-school set list kept crowd going, Two Step as set closer and then Digging a Ditch ---> Warehouse for encore. Longest show this tour at 3+ hours, played from 8:20 to 11:15, breaking the Cincinnati curfew which states that the band must be finished by 11:00! Great fans down front... all in all, one of my top 5 shows ever attended!!

User: what will i say
Review:
Lovely show! Nice weather, nice venue. "We'll be crazy like a River Bends" line from 'When the World Ends' made the crowd lose it! Opened with Crush, played Dancing Nancies, closed with Star Spangeled Banner Jam into Watchtower.
