We knew DMB was doing a lot for the DVD; that they had wandered to the store the previous day...but we were just sitting there waiting in that horribly, hot, long line, when he just came out and gave us the most amazing gift. We were soooooo close. So cool!

Dave came out about three oclock as we were watching Jason Mraz jam. He took Jason's guitar and thanked him for letting him 'bogart on his gig' He played three songs, seventeen year old Aaron Leibowitz jammed out nancies on his sax, then dave was gone as quick as he came. The best part is that I captured the entire thing on video!

Wow... waiting in the parking lot to see DMB at the Gorge, some guy that no one has heard of jammin on a stage with a drum guy and a sax guy (now know that was the esteemed Jason Mraz) and Dave comes out, says he is an asshole, and plays three tunes.. wings, gravedigger, nancies it think... amazing!

never heard so many people so silent for so long... truly the highlight of my weekend. i loved it how he just walked up and used the lead singer's guitar from the band there... and sniffed into the mic that was cool too

i was walking by the side stage and i heard a familiar voice i looked over there and there he was..davis j matthews on a side stage rockin out to gravedigger
