Stellar. Top to (almost) bottom. The Stone to open surprised everyone, but it suited the evening well. The jam at the end of GiG is super and nearly stole my show..but..then...So Much->Anyone->Pantala->Rapunzel spent 20min reminding me why I LOVE THIS BAND. Encore was a bit weak and running time, in retrospect, was a little short, but you sure didn't notice it inside! Overall, great show, can't wait for a taper to drop it so's i can go for the ride all over again.

First DMB show, and simply amazing. Bad seats though. I realized you can only truly experience them live.

My first DMB show and I was blown away. I have all of the released live cd's and they don't even begin to compare to the quality of being there. Can't wait until next summers tour.

As everyone else has said, the energy was incredible in the Bell Centre. The set was pretty awesome, although, again as people have said, it wasn't long enough, at least compared to last year. Opening with The Stone was amazing, and Crush sounded really powerful. They played a very good rendition of Everyday, following the lead of the crowd by mixing it with #36 . Grey Street and Don't Drink The Water were simply incredible, and I was ecstatic that they played my favourite song, #41! I was so happy that they played So Much To Say into Rapunzel...that really made for a sick ending. There were two things that really disappointed me, however. Firstly, Dave hardly talked to the crowd at all this time. He said his usual "thank you very much" 's between most songs, and wished us a pleasant evening at the end, but other than that, did not utter a word. Secondly, while everyone is saying that they really enjoyed the band's older stuff, the fact is that asides from One Sweet World, they didn't play any songs from albums earlier than Crash. This was a bit surprising considering that Dave was touting this tour as a return to the "old stuff." Overall, it was a fantastic concert and I had a great time. Thanks, DMB!!!

The show was absolutely amazing. It was great to hear more of the old ones! The whole building just danced all night. The Stone was an incredible starter and staples like #41, Don't Drink the Water and Crush completely blew us away. Boyd's solo on Tripping Billies was crazy and Carter's backup vocals and insane drumming throughout the show was just unbelievable. And of course Dave was the man. I love his dancing. The crowd was nuts. Absolutely nuts...the mere sight of Dave walking up onto the stage made everyone yell so loud, you really couldn't hear anything else. ALthough the encore was pretty weak. I think Sleep to Dream Her is one of the weakest DMB songs especially at a show! Tripping Billies was awesome but I really wanted to hear Watchtower. Last year's Montreal show was also a lot longer. A little dissapointing. All in all a great show!

My first show. Not bad. The band was tight. The sound mix was weak. They played some great tunes, however, only a couple of my favorites.

Amazing show tonight, most significantly though, amazing energy from the band and the crowd. Dave was moving around more than I've ever seen, and the crowd's intensity was nuts. The band and the crowd seemed to feed off of each other, and Dave was really interacting with the crowd. Here's the song-by-song:
The Stone - very standard, good stuff
Everyday - 36 outro, interesting that it was alone and not with #41
One Sweet World - standard
Grey Street - just saw it a few days ago in Hartford, and this version was far better. Seemed louder, more energy.
Fool to Think - standad
Grace Is Gone - Highlight of the night! Insane outro with solos, speed-up outro, Boyd solo was amazing, then went back into standard jam
Help Myself - standard, but cool
#41 - Absolutely amazing. It's my favourite song, and the crowd was really into it
Dont Drink the Water - Dave screwed up the lyrics
Cry Freedom - the usual. three shows in a row that I've seen this
Too Much - the crowd loved it, great song
Crush - amazing as usual, crowd loved it
When the World Ends - nice to hear it near the end
SMTS>ASTB>PNP>Rapunzel - Fantastic closer, and ASTB was one of the major highlights, as Dave went absolutely nuts, dancing around the stage and interacting with the crowd a ton
Sleep to Dream Her - big downer of the show. sucked ass
Trippin Billies - much better than the version I saw in Hartford on Saturday. Nature intro. Dave seemed to have missed his cue for the first verse though, but they just played it and then he started the first verse right after, so it just sounded like an extended intro.

Thanks to the Warehouse for this one...I was sitting 3rd row and the usher let us go ot he front, so i was leaning on the fron railing in front of boyd for the entire show. Needless to say, that in itself made the show memorable. The setlist wasn't too bad, but i've heard better. Help Myself and Cry Freedom were the highlights for me since they were both firsts for me. Also, I can hear myself on the tape of the show at the beginning of Everyday singing "Hani Hani" and then Dave made a comment "He sounds angry!" because i really was yealling it. So that's my claim to fame. Overall though a very memorable night between the front row and the strippers after the show. Montreal never fails!

GREAT!!! Had amazing seats!
The Stone was a great way to open the show! Sleep to Dream Her in the encore was'nt the greatest, but still well and good. One of the best versions of Crush I have heard, but it's my favourite, so bias is obvious. I am not sure if its just me but every show I've been to of his, he's played Too Much. I asked my friend and he said the same thing(he's been to 10 times as many shows as I have). Maybe its a Canadian thing? Overall the show was amazing and the energy was great. I am happy I made the trip!!!

Well being my first DMB show I have to say I was blown away. We had seats in the lower bowl so I could see the band pretty good and when they opened with my favorite song (The Stone) I was amazed at how good they are live. All in all, a very good show in my opinion.

After experiencing the world for 9 months and missing the Hartford shows for the first time, I was pleased when I saw this show in Montreal, almost on a whim. I finished XC practice that day and almost immediately was in the car heading up to Montreal with a freshman from the team. We had to go to willcall to get our tickets and even a minute delay anywhere would've stopped me from seeing the DMB show in its entirity. As it was we took our seats just as the boys were walking onto the stage. Everyday was memorable and I had mentioned how I really wanted to see Tripping Billies. They closed with it. All in all it was another great show at the venue that I had had my best DMB experience a year before. The freshman liked it too, and I remembered the show I went to in 2000 the day before I came to college. Perpetuating the DMB experience!

Well, as the first day in my two day Dave-a-thon (Toronto followed a small nap) I loved the show. The view from the mid-floor area was better than my bowl seats last year. The Stone is one of my all-time favorites, and he opened with it! The Pantala/Rapunzel was awesome as well. Keep it up Dave!

Set list could have been a bit better ( ie. Two step, Crash, Say Goodbye) but it was an awesome show. also, a better first song for the encore could have been played (ie Stay). I was very impressed with them playing #41 because there was a lot of people yelling for it..good fan appreciation!

Show was absolutely awesome. The crowd was nuts. Encore was the only thing that was weak. Sleep to dream her left everyone standing staring at the bright lights and stars on the screen. Thank goodness for Tripping Billies. Watchtower would have been better though... all in all.. the show was just awesome.
