Ho-hum of a show really imho. And the seats were smoking. Did see Dave watching Ben Harper from backstage and he did wave back at us. He was just enjoying Harp's music before they jammed.

Loved the setlist, great energy. Typical Situation was fantastic, the solo on Lie in Our Graves was phenomenal, but Jimi Thing really took the cake. I've seen all three songs performed many times, and this was the best I had seen them - and I say that without any post-concert excitement.

Yes, front row center! I remember it was a random work day about 10:30 am and I was in a Costco parking lot when the Warehouse called to upgrade my tickets. May sound pathetic but one of the best days of my life. Awesome show, I remember seeing Luke Walton (Lakers) and thinking, "My seats are better than his."

This was a top 5 for sure! I have never seen such an energetic show and if I'm right... which yes this was the show it was a full moon or almost and Dave danced around that stage like no other. Took my room mate to his first Dave show and he had a blast as well! Great set and wonderful encore, I love it when they do watchtower!

Awsome, Dave broke his stings 3 times. Watchtower didn't slow him down with a broken bass string hitting him in the head.

After last night, I was expecting a let down and i wasn't, at all!!! DDTW great opener and Hello Again (2nd night in a row) was once again amazing. Carter's solo was mind-blowing. crowd really into crash (radio song, radio city) which made it a joy and OSW was beautiful (i really liked the intro). grey street was really solid and typical situation was a treat. the old school jamming was unbelievable to hear. joy ride (again) was still good, and jimi thing was absurd. dave went CRAZY while scatting and was bending the mic stand everywhere which had to be fixed by a stage hand after.. haha... amazing. Song that Jane Likes, was great and i was glad i heard Sugar Will live. big fan. too much was AWESOME and the extra verse was nice, good jamming at the end, crowd was into it. LIOG was unbelievable with boyd going NUTS! and making this hilarious face when he was on the big screen. DIDO was a pleasure to hear and crazy-easy was also good. the new 4 songs are really good. stay was good, (was looking for nancings or billies). encore: WWYS was great. Watchtower: wow.. stefan intro was ridiculous and dave sounded great on vocals. perfect ending to the this weekend. not a bad song played in the two days and the band was great. looking forward to San Fran!!!

Two kick ass nights in a row. Too bad they ended with fucking watchtower tonight. They couldn't even hold off on that for me on the eve of my birthday. A lot of people seemed to enjoy it though so that's cool. Had they ended with Billies my head would have exploded so its probably good that they ended with Watchtower. I did however enjoy Stefan's Black Sabbath entrance into Watchtower. If he's done that before I've never noticed it. First time hearing Sugar Will live and I liked it. I liked Hello Again a lot better the second time and Joyride is a kick ass song. Dave got down on his Jimi scat which was fucking cool. Lot's of energy again from the band tonight. Crowd was great. Our area had security repeatedly coming over telling us to not dance in the aisle. Overall I think the show started nice and strong and just built steam the entire way. DDTW to Joy Ride was nice and steady, then from Jimi on the show seemed to shoot out of a rocket. They seemed to play a bit longer than normal too - at least it seemed like it to me. I was expecting a much shorter set. I have tickets for Marysville and I can't really afford to go, but I want to so bad. Fuck.

Unbelievable. I thought that they couldn't top Saturday's show, but they might have. Amazing sound and great energy from the crowd. Hello Again was one again awesome! LIOG/Jimi Thing/STJL were great, and Dave breaking a string during the screaming of Watchtower was classic. Dave was in a zone tonight... My 10th show...surely a memorable one.

A little lower-key than 8/28 but still great. LIOG might've been the best live performance I have ever heard. AATW was a great way to finish.

Strong Show, fantastic finale. Dave's voice is strong, and the band was there 100%. The jam in Jimi Thing was fantastic, and the break towards the end of the song is the replacement of Dave's microphone and monitor after some seriously crazy dancing.

To start, I have to say that the three shows in Southern California rocked because none of them really repeated each other. Each night brought new songs and highlights, which is why this is the greatest live band in the world. Anyway, the setlist was great, but not as good as Saturday night. Also, there were much less people there than the night before. Song that Jane Likes into Sugar Will was amazing. I couldn't believe they busted out Lie in Our Graves. Watchtower had so much energy to close it. Oh yeah, and Dave was waving to his little girls, Stella and Grace, who were on the side of the stage, before Joyride. My last show of the tour, can't wait for the new album!

User: Frobald
Review:
Holy Shit. Such an amazing show my mind was blown the jimi thing was insane with dave rockin out and scattin all the new songs were incredible, the song that jane likes really topped it for me and the fact that they didnt play one song from everyday. So Kick ass, can't wait for San Fran, I can only imagine!!

Well last night was straight, hard core party style, so I knew tonight would be more smooth, funky and chill... and I was right. DDTW to open with was cool. Hello Again so early in the set list was a nice surprise. I saw all the couples come closer to each other during Crash and could feel everyone's energy, very positive. OSW and Grey Street were tight. Typical Situation was great seeing live and I thought Dave was just possessed with the crowds spirit during Jimi Thing, I've never heard him so energetic with the scatting and all. Poor stage hand. STJL was very fun. Too Much was cool and LIOG lifted everybody's spirits. DIDO was real funky that night! Stay was expected but welcome. WWYS was a nice encore piece. And all night long I was praying to hear it, knew I wouldn't hear it b/c he only played once or twice all summer long, gave up hope, and nearly pissed my pants when Lassard began his AMAZING solo. Thanks DMB for an awesome weekend!!

sec C1 row 4 seat 20 Had a sign...STICK EM UP CARTER. the night Carter pointed at me and threw me a stick... A fellow a few seats down got it and would not give it to me at first...but after everyone around kept saying "it's her stick, give it to her" he thought better of keeping it.. I'm glad for him...would have messed up his karma...and for me.I got the stick..Thanks Carter...

Again, a great show... Less folks, which for me was cool. Not much of a crowd guy. I had seats on the floor (in the very back) but opted to sit on the corner of the benches, front row back there to see and have a little room to breathe. Lie in Our Graves was the highlight... The little old lady checking tickets even asked what album it was on because she wanted to buy it. Very nice weekend of shows!

I was not able to make it to the previous night's show, but judging by the setlists tonight's show was more mellow. However, the watchtower encore was amazing. He also had an incredible version of Lie in Our Graves. The crowd was a little more mellow, probably because there was no lawn section, and this was a little drawback. Overall the show was good, but not as good as his Shoreline shows I have grown accustomed to.

Review:
Brilliant! Highlight for me was LIOG. First time I heard it live. Typical Situation and Jimi Thing were great too. I could hear DIDO every night, I just love that song. I get what ya'll say about LA crowds... and I'm from LA! In my section, people were sitting down during some of the jams. I will give them a pass during Sugar Will since it's new and mellow, but during jams?!? Maybe they were too drunk/high/hung over, but they sure perked up during Watchtower. The whole place rocked!

DDTW opener was one of my dreams come true! OSW and Typical Situation were truly amazing!! LIOG was absoulutely beautiful! (except for the guy behind me who towards the end of the song kept yelling "go on to the next song" I told him if he was not enjoying the show he was free to leave!) Watchtower was the perfect encore!!!

I've seen many great live dmb shows, but 8-28/8-29 was the best I've attended so far. The band was full of energy and ready to have a good time. I'd say this weekend was comparable to the Live at Central Park show with some extra goodies from his new song collection.

another free show, another great time! i got to intiate a first time dmb'er in to the cult, and it was very special for the both of us...and we got to sit next to some cute boys from SLO. Typical situation was so uplifting: the energy in the venue was incredible, it seemed as if everyone was happy, everyones was free... the mildly political tone to the set list was appropriate. Opening, Ben Harper and the blind boys from AL were sweet...awesome harmonies. Back to dmb- dave broke a string, watchtower was chill enducing as ever thanks to stephan, and the new songs hooked me. i luuuuved it!

This show went off. For the peolpe who saw Dave shake that ass on the solo tour, he brought out the moves tonight. Jimi Thing was off the hook with Dave just flat out goin' nuts. The earpieces come out, the mic stand being hauled all over the stage. DAMN! LIOG was a hugh surprise. The new songs are really taking on there own groove. Hello Again is a classic. The encore rocked. Best thing: NO ELECTRIC GUITER FOR THE SOCAL SHOWS! Keep it going boys. Much love from the OC.
