Loved this show!! We took our 12 year old son to this one, his first DMB live show....i don't think he ever blinked. Fans around us let him stand on his chair during the encore so he could see better and we had blast singing and dancing!!

This was a pretty great show for this tour. The midset Ants was a surprise, and overall there were many good classics played. Robert Randolph took this show from an average show to a great one, though. I don't like Michael Jackson, but the Thriller jam before Watchtower was euphoric.

Wow. I'm a newbie to all this (only my second show ever), but I know what I was apart of was amazing. Seriously. A bit of a weak opener, but the next five songs were flat out ridiculous. The Stone wasn't just a song, but an experience, and getting to hear Granny was a privelage. The block was capped off with an absolutely insane Grey Steet. Traditionally not a "jam song," this set took the crowd-favorite to a whole new level. Ants, Nancies, and Warehouse (particularly Nancies) were all dominant, and the classics really got the crowd pumped. Also, the show really helped boost my appreciation for their new material. Bayou rocked like mad, and is definitely going to be a favorite all tour long. To close it out, a sweet jam leading into Watchtower. Blew the previous night's show out of the water, and this time I stayed dry.

All I can say is I usually sit in the pavilion and I have sat front row 3 times but last night I sat in the lawn and it was amazing. Right when the encore started it started to rain and when watchtower started it began to pour down really hard with thunder and lighting going across the sky. It was the most euphoric music experience I have ever had. The show was GREAT!!! Been to 23 shows and this is top 2.

This show kicked all kinds of ass. This was my 11th show. Let me go through the highlights. AB was an okay opener. I was hoping for too much. BOWA...i called this in the parking lot. I knew we would be hearing this at some point. I do not know if anyone else picked up on this but my friend sure did. During that jam at the end of Die Trying Leroi jams out like nothing to Herbie Hancock's Watermelon Man. The ants marching, nancies, and warehouse part of the night brought me back to my first few concerts(called nancies segueing into warehouse). Louisiana Bayou was amazing. I could not believe what i was seeing. Then theres this watchtower intro. into watchtower...i might have been the happiest ive ever been. Robert Randolph was amazing and should guest with dmb as much as possible...a couple weeks till alpine

OMG! This show was amazing! I had been to the Sunday show. (This being the Monday show) Sunday, it almost seemed as though Dave just wasn't into the show that much. Taking into consideration that they came to us directly from Bonaroo, I can understand a little bit of weariness. I left Sunday feeling a little diasappointed, but arrived Monday with high hopes. The rain had stopped (Sunday it POURED!) and the band seemed in good spirits. My only complaint was they band played American Baby both night, and clearly there are enough songs to not have repeats, but it's new, so I let it slide. The band rocked, played all the songs people were waiting for- Tripping Billies, Ants Marching- as well as some new jams- personal favorite was Lousiana Bayou.. sounded great out in the middle of nowhere. But the height of the concert was the finale. Robert Randolph came out, and they proceed to jam for about 8 minutes.. with huge smiles on their faces. Certainly they knew what we all wanted- Watchtower was being chanted thru the crowd. The jam ends, the crowd waits. And then, just as Dave strums the first few chords to what we were all waiting for, a hug bolt of lightening streaked across the sky. By the first notes of the chorus, the heavens seemed to have opened upon all of us out in the lawn. I've heard just about every disc version of AATW, and it is one of my fav live jams. I thought I was ready, but this night was the BEST I have ever heard Dave sing it, and to top it off, there was Robert Randolph jamming center stage! The crowd was pulsing- they were feeling the music that deeply. And then, just as soon as it began, the last note was played, the band exited, and the rain stopped. If that wasn't a Music God sign, I don't know what is. That night was one of my best memories... thanks to DMB for making it out of this world!

The show was great, and the best out of the three shows i've ever been to. Ants marching and dancing nancies sounded like everything i dreamed they would. The only problem was the repeat of dreamgirl, hunger, louisianna bayou, and you might die trying. This songs were fantastic live, but i'm sure the band knows the number of people that pay good money to see them both nights don't appreciate repeating songs. but i understand that they're trying to let as many people as possible hear the new stuff live, because they are amazing. the climax of the show was the best part though. We escaped the rain until the watchtower encore, at which point the storm built up identically to the song (at least it seemed my mind was telling me this) and just as "the hour is getting laaaaaaaaaaaaate" lightning struck around us fortunate lawn patrons, and rain poured down and dave took us through dylans epic, and it seemed that not only did the band (with robert randolph) control the crowd, but also for a brief time they controled nature as well.

The encore...Lord. Download this concert at the first opportunity simply for the unadulterated power...it was simply beautiful. Just two songs and a crazy improv jam lasted 40 minutes. Old Dirt Hill provided one of the finishing brush-strokes to this amazing concert, but it was the anticipation for what was yet to come that made it even better...and when Mr. Robert Randolph strutted on to the stage once again, the whole place was going ape. We all would've been thrilled with simply one of Stefan's signature bass solos before Watchtower, but the way this concert had been going, The Band had no intentions of just satisfying the crowd...only blowing them away. A ten minute jam session between seven of the most talented musicians on the planet took place in front of us as the skies started to open up. And then there was Watchtower...if I never hear it again it's alright because how they could top that performance I'll never know. With the rain increasing in intensity as the band raised their energy level to a notch I have not seen, those around me (myself included) were going hysterical. Even the lightning put on a show, with arcs and loops above our heads seemingly in-time with the furious jamming taking place. Just thinking of Randolph's performance is giving me goosebumps this very second...he was smacking his pedal steel guitar like a madman, standing on his chair, and appeared to be screaming out at times in response to the absolutely beautiful mix of sight and sound around him. As it all was coming to a close, one just had to soak it all up...arms outstretched, smiling from pure joy, letting the rain fall on you. It was powerful. It was beautiful. It was music too grand for words. It was DMB.

WOW! Robert Randolph really took me by suprise! On the way to the show, my friend and I encountered some engine trouble. (If you were there, we were the guys walking away from the grey car on the road leading up to the gate) On the walk up to the gate, the weather began to look somewhat ominous, but I did manage to get to my seat before the rain began.
I have to say, PERFECT SET! Not being overly impressed with the new album, I was happy to hear songs like The Stone, Granny and, of course, the outstanding performance of Robert Randolph on AATW encore.

Just a bit for now: Robert Randolph is one of the greatest guitar players to ever live and it showed. All Along the Watchtower was an experience like no other. After many DMB shows, I can attest, this is the best I have ever seen. This was a sic set list, and made me appreciate the new album in a new way. This show was unlike anything I have felt. This was a great turnaround to last nights show. HIGH energy throughout the entire show, crowd was pumped, even though the threat of the tornadothundersrorms were looming the entire time. Robert Randolf put on an excellent show, incorporating some Hendrix, as well as some crowd involvement, inviting some people up to the stage to play guitar along with him.....oddly enough the two chord song they play sounded strikingly like Blue Water. I had my hand up wanting to be the fan who would go up and start in on it. The Band was simply in an out to please mood, with a VERY strong opening set, Amer Baby, Stone, BOWA, and Granny to start things off. Having an unexpected ants was nice as well mid set. Was neat to hear a couple of the same songs again from the night before......Die Trying and Louisanna Bayou were simply amazing. And in Bayou we got an amazing treat of Randolf coming up again and Blowing the roof off the house with Dave and his little Dance back and forth. Then out of nowhere there was NANCIES!!!! WOOT!! and how could it get better? UM INTO WAREHOUSE!!!!! great part of the show! IT was good to hear Old Dirt Hill as well, especially without the R & B sound of the Bring that beat back to me again, from the album, Then THE BEST OF THE BEST Watchtower always!! SEE YOU AT ALPINE

my 9th show and i think probably my favorite- my seats kicked ass- american baby was a good opener with a different ending than ive heard so far- i liked it though - it was great to hear the stone and granny - the ending of grey street was really awesome the roi and carter were tearing it up- really good- smooth rider sounded great- the midset ants blew me away- i love that song midset- my first nancies- really awesome- dave just made a bunch of noise in the beginning and boyd was on fire- i think this die tryin was even better than the night before was - really awesome at the end- they all just go off on thier own parts and it sounds so great together- wasnt a fan of out of my hands so much - dreamgirl was cool to hear- and we got to watch to girls making out during it so that was really a thing to remember- i dont think ODH is gonna make it through the summer - the band just doesnt seem comfortable playin it- robert randolph kicks ass - they were having so much fun with him up there during bayou and just completely rocking out- tons and tons of energy itw as just great- then the watchtower intro was totally unexpected and sounded really really good - watchtower itself was awesome too- great show!

Excellent show. One of my all time favorites. The Stone (which is my favorite song), followed by Best of What's Around, followed by Granny. Lots of energy from the band. Ants Marching, Warehouse, and Watchtower were intense. Great show.

It was a pretty sweet setlist. Grey Street was a big highlight personally. The best did not come until Robert Randolph, who opened the concert, came out for the encore. The band started to play some jam that nobody had heard. People actually started to pack up. Then Dave began to sing the beginning of All Along The Watchtower. That made the whole intro make sense. The whole night, rain had held off during the band's performance, but once the band started to really jam, the rain let loose making the whole evening something to remember.

I thought it was pretty good. It seems that the new songs don't have quite the energy as the old ones, but that will come as many fans at the shows don't know their head from their ass anyway. Robert Reynolds did a whale of a job on Bayou and Watchtower. I especially liked the 6 songs or so from Under the Table. It's nice to think back then when life was a bit easier...

Great show. Good mix of the old and new. Maybe too much of the new, but all the favorites of old. Robert Randolph was a fun addition to Watchtower and Bayou.

Amazing!!!! I hope that this turns into the next a dmb live trax. It definitely had the makings of one. Not to many times do you hear ants marching in the middle of a set. What else can you say about Robert Randolph, that dude can jam. Gotta love dmb because the weather stunk but they made up for it. Especially ending with watchtower. See ya in Cleveland!!!!

This was the 13th show I have attended and it was by far the best. American Baby was a good opener especially with the different ending. Glad to hear a lot of the classics. Granny and Stone are always fan favorites. BOWA and R&R were great. Best version of Grey Street i've ever heard. The new songs live were great. The crowd was amazing especially after the mid-show Ants. After that the crowd was just non-stop. Nancies to Warehouse was out of this world and the crowd let them know it. Bayou is an instant live classic especially if Robert Randolph will be guesting a lot. I was afraid a new song would close the set and screw up the concert but it only made it a classic. A Bayou like that should close every show. Encore was the best ever. A little tech problems with Old Dirt Hill, but DMB and RR on Watchtower was classic. The lightening and thunder that accompanied it was like God was playing with them. Greatest thing i've ever seen.

Holy crap what energy from the crowd and the band tonight. The weather, lightning and thunder, only added to the energy. The improv intro was great. Had no idea what they were doing. I figured Watchtower cause of RR but the jam was awesome. This might be up there as one of my top 3 shows.

WHAT A SHOW
Best show that I have ever been too. Robert Randolph tore the place apart with the Watchtower intro and jam. Sat next to some really great fans. Die Trying was the highlight for me becuase the jams were out of this world. The recording on this site is also the best i have ever heard for a live show. Worth the 6 hours of driving!

Another rainy night. We did get lucky all weekend, though, and managed to be under cover every time it poured (and it realllly did pour) this night. Walked back to our site at Dead Creek Camp and our tent was still dry inside = ) Some peoples' tents were not only wet, but completely blown away . . .
This show had an awesome Louisiana Bayou & Watchtower with Robert Randolph, who was the opener.

I haven't been able to stop thinking about this show!! Much Better than the first night's show, it had all of the fan fav's and the new stuff (Smooth Rider especially) was awesome too. The energy with Mr. Randolph and the rest of the band was absolutely amazing during "LB & ALTWT". The improv intro to Watchtower was way cool. Thank you Jesus we didn't get drenched like the night before.
