Awesome show. Lie in our graves was a definite highlight, as well as Watchtower. First time seeing What You Are, which I particularly enjoyed. Bayou was energetic as well. Overall, awesome show.

mmm.... a little disappointing with all the stand up songs however all the old songs they played were exceptional

Ridiculous. Boyd went nuts. LIOG, AB Intro, and Louisiana Bayou were unreal. One of the best I've seen in years.

I love these guys, but this was really an uninspired show. I know there's an album to plug, but c'mon, EIGHT repeats from Dallas? Dallas was an uneven show, but it blew this one out of the water in terms of energy, both from the crowd and the band. And when it wasn't the new stuff, it was par-for-the-course choices like WWYS, Crash and Watchtower. Even on Say Goodbye, one of the real treat returns this tour, something seemed to be wrong with Roi's flute. The first three songs were great and the show showed strong potential, but the energy crashed with the increasingly ironically titled Everybody Wake Up and never fully recovered. One note: although no one sat in, both Carter and Butch watched most of Victor Wooten's set from the sidelines.

Fairly disappointing show. Most "special" songs of the year were held back, and Victor Wooten failed to play anywhere in TX with the band despite opening.

I would never have guessed Stone as an opener. Great surprise. Lie in Our Graves was absolutely the highlight. Great show!!!!!!!! Eventhough I heard Dream Girl, American Baby, and Bayou all 3 nights, I never got tired of them. The intros to DG and AB gave me goosebumps. Say Goodbye Say Goodbye Say Goodbye!!!!!!!!

My first dave show...Biggest fan for a long time and had never been to a show, quite sad...and I must say it's the first of many and it was everything that I ever thought it could be.

I have never seen Dave live before now...always wanted too, never could. I have to say I wish I could have seen him back in the day, but I had a great experience. I danced the whole time and he played Watchtower, which is one of the ones I wanted to hear most. Say Goodbye was beautiful. I went nuts during Lie in Our Graves...overall, I loved it ....something I will never forget. I danced the whole time!!!!

First show, so naturally it was unreal. The Stone and Lie in Our Graves were extremely memorable. Dave's vocals seemed a little strained on this particular night, but the overall sound was fantastic.

This year’s Houston show had its moments, but did not rise to either of last year’s two shows in terms of energy or set list. The Stone and OSW were okay opening songs, but quite laid back. Overall, the energy was uneven throughout the night. It was great on the highlights which IMHO included Crash, Lie In Our Graves, American Baby Intro, You Might Die Trying and Smooth Rider (the last three played in succession). It wasn’t so great for others, such as Dream Girl, which languished miserably the last couple of minutes, or the jam part of WWYS, which fell completely flat. From a performance perspective, it was Boyd’s night all the way, with fairly consistent help from Carter and Stefan. At times he successfully carried the whole band on his back such as the ending jam of Louisiana Bayou. Unfortunately, it was not the best of nights for LeRoi. As for the set list, Everyday was a surprise considering its appearance in Dallas the previous show and that it was played last year in Houston (with much better crowd participation, I might add). As for Watchtower, I’d have traded with San Antonio for Two Step, but also, sometimes it dwarfs subsequent songs, when not played as the encore, as was the case yesterday. Finally, I rather enjoyed getting eight songs from Stand Up (even though some of them didn’t work for me live) since I did not get to attended multiple shows. Overall, a decent show, especially thanks to Boyd!

First time seeing Dave in Texas. I just moved to Dallas from KC. Pretty good show. I was coming off a long weekend at the lake of the ozarks. But they kept the energy up for me.

Lie in our graves was the highlight of the concert as well as Watchtower. Crowd seemed energetic but timid to dance and let it out. When the crowd is suckin, the how is Dave and Crew gonna get the vibe to fucking rock it?! Selma had a bad ass crowd. Overall it was a great show but not quite as good as the other texas venues.

My first ever Dave show. I was 18 years old and I remember my friend asking Victor Wooten after the show if he would smoke a joint with him. He said no, that he quit. :)

It was my first Dave concert. Although he [;ayed a lot of songs from Stand Up, it was amazing. He jams out in Lie in Our Graves and Everydy.

Disappointed only in that I didn't see the energy (or Dave's dancing) that I had heard so much about from earlier shows on this tour. Other than that, it was awesome. Boyd is da man!!!! LIOG was absolutely positively INSANELY SICK! Still get goosebumps just thinking about Boyd running back and forth from Dave, to Stefan and jamming his ass off!! It was great to get away from the devastation in Baton Rouge/New Orleans, if only for a couple of days. COME BACK SOON DAVE!

The Stone as an openner was cool. But the two songs I wanted to really hear were Say Goodbye and Lie in Our Graves, and they were as good as I expected especially LIOG. I thouht the energy was pretty good. Dave was screaming his lungs out during American Baby. Even more than the Dallas show. Watchtower was awesome. I think it is over played but the entire band just nailed it. Dave was screaming out the lyrics and the rest of the guys played like there was no tomorrow. But what I will always remember about this show, was when it was time for Carter to be in the spotlight for Watchtower and just as the lights came up one of his drum-sticks broke, he tossed it up in the air and in one quick motion grabbed another stick and layed into those drums like a mad man. It was AWESOME!!!! I had never heard What You Are live, in fact, I never thought that much of the song, until now. I got chills. I liked the venue, but it seemed like most of the people around me were either there to just drink or talk. I had to listen to this stupid girl and her boyfriend yell at each other most of the concert. Fortunately they left about 2/3 into the show. All and all a good concert, don't think I will make the trip to Houston ever again, but you never know.
