Highlight of my Bonnaroo trip. "Time of the Season" was perfect. Warren played awesome jam in Jimi Thing. Robert Randolf rocked Louisiana Bayou.

MAN!!!! ROBERT RANDOLPH WENT INSANE. I couldn't believe my ears during AATW. Warren Haynes is also one of my idols, what can I say? It was an awesome show! Crush or #41 would have made it my favorite show ever probably.

Very psyched for this Bonnaroo set, yet a bit apprehensive (seeing as I am not the hugest dan of "Stand Up") .... However, after meeting Herbie Hancock after his butt-stomping set ending with a full run of Chameleon - I trudged my way up to the Guest bleachers (yeah, you folks in Gen. Pop / VIP hate us, I know) for DMB ... I swore I was never gonna see DMB asw DMB again (Dave and Tim, Dave and Friends, totally different) ... HOWEVER, my already stomped-butt was thrashed for at least a second time on Friday, convincing me to not yet give up on these folks ... The old stuff was plentiful and kickass, while the new stuff was, well, new stuff. Dave was on point, and I seem to remember Robert Randolf standing on a pedal-steel guitar ... A visual and auditory masterpiece of a show - almost entirely non-stop... I think the general consensus around the sea of folks at the show was the same, DMB still rocks the effin house.

This show was out of control. Seemed a little tame at first, but the whole thing was just bursting with enthusiastic energy. Robert Randolph MADE Louisiana Bayou and Watchtower, giving me no choice but to get down. Dave seems much more free-spirited now than he has in recent years, which is always exciting. This was my eighth show, and I finally got Tripping Billies! Put a big smile on my face.

Despite stompin' thru the mud at bonaroo to see it, THIS SHOW WAS SO FRESH!! Robert Randolph AND Warren Haynes. Dave wore Rob's hat for the second half of the show,ha, CLASSIC. It's been two years and I still haven't been to a show that tops that one... of course I ate a few fun guys, maybe that helped.

Awesome! I was in the 2nd row on the right side. We waited for 7 hours so that we could rush the stage before Allison Krause and the Allman Bros. and wait and wait and wait until Dave finally appeared! Great show. The glow sticks everywhere where amazing. Cool people. Robert Randolph is awesome. Warren Hayes was a special treat too. Great show.

Well since I live in Manchester, Bonnaroo totally kicked. DMB 3 miles from my house. AATW with Robert Randolph was so freakin' cool. Dave was in a sick groove and played like there was no tomorrow. But Stefan gets my gold star. He was really on the money for this one.

My 17th Show! And what a show it was!! We spent the whole day in the blistering sun from 10am to 8pm waiting for Dave to appear, and boy was it worth it! One of my favorite shows and experiences of all time! I would have picked better songs looking back at the set list, but the energy was amazing. It was funny too when Randolph put his hat on Dave! He sported it the rest of the night! Still the closest I've ever been to Dave (about 6 rows from the rail). FUN TIMES!

Dave's show was SO bonnaroo....TWO guests, and one who gave Dave a hat?? I mean, come on. I don't feel like going song by song to say how good this was, but I will mention the fact that Bartender has never been better--ever. Too Much rose above the mediocrity that seems to consume songs like that and Billies, So Much to Say, etc. And Bayou was one of the greatest, most energetic jams I have heard from any band...rightly putting that new song in the pantheon of DMB concert greats. Anyway, the best part of the Bonnaroo show is that I was surronded by Jam Band fans--dead heads and people still mourning the loss of Phish. While I somewhat count myself in both those groups, I'm a DMB-head first and foremost. The point is that as the show went on hardcore jam band fans, who often see DMB as "selling out" or "being too mainstream" or not being a jam band at all, were obviously getting very into it and realizing that--if any1 is--Dave and the boys are worthy of climbing on the jam band throne that the Dead built and left to Phish. Case and point--during YOU MIGHT DIE TRYING, I looked around and was shocked to see EVERY1 rockin out and even verbalizing a newly-discovered love and respect for the band that we all know rocks like no other. (except the dead, no one will ever top them....ever) ANYWAY....download the Bonnaroo concert ASAP, either on one of these lovely sites or at www.LiveBonnaroo.com when the post it. Lata

Admittedly this was my first Dave experience but have liked them for 5 years and have all their albums. This show at the Roo had crazy energy. From the moment DMB took the stage we all knew it was going to be unreal. While I can certainly imagine better setlists, the insane intensity more than compensated. Warren Hanes shredded Jimi Thing and Randolph was crazy as well on Bayou and Watchtower. Overall a wicked awesome show. We also got all the best Stand Up songs which made the show even better.

The Bonnaroo festival was amazing. I was in the fourth row almost dead center for Dave and it was unbelieveable. The workers threw Glow sticks into the crowd of over 90,000 people and it was amazing looking. That show is unforgettable. The energy they put into it that night was unspeakable. The only downfall is they didn't play American Baby, which quite frankly didnt make any sense. Overall it was another outstanding performance by Dave and the Band.

I was lost fords after this performancs. The band was a little late getting on stage and the crowd of 90,000 erupted when they did. Dave was very talkative at this show, this was tight as shit! He was talking about porta-potties or something, it was obvious that he was partaking in Bonnaroo festivities which is also tight. His energy level was close to that of Central Park. Great setlist, highlights include: #40, Time of the Season, Crash Into Me, Bartender with glow sticks flying everywhere toward the end of the song (this was awesome for all of the hallucinators), Jimi Thing with Warren Haynes, Bayou and Watchtower with Robert Randolph, and Nature>Tripping Billies. The guests were awesome, The band did an extended intro during Jimi and Warren had oneof two very nice solos during the song. Robert Randolph just went off! He stood up on his chair and rocked out duriong Watchtower, everyone was pumped, the whole band was dancing and jamming hard as shit. Two Step has an even cooler intro now with Carter's percussive attributes. The new songs are great and I'm glad so many people were diggin' these songs. This concert was one of the best I've seen, besides Central Park. I was very impressed and look forward to Hershey Park in less than two weeks.

This show was insane. I waited 11 hours and was first row. Everyone came to play. After opening with a tight One Sweet World, they played some old favorites as well as some new stuff. Warren Haynes showing up for Jimi Thing was no surprise, he had played on the stage an hour prior. Robert Randolph showed up, I wasnt really surprised either. He jammed so hard, Leroi was grinning so hard due to the energy RR brings when he plays. The closer of Trippin Billies topped off an awsome night.

I was fortunate enough to see DMB in my hometown the very year after seeing D&F...truly an amazing show and experience...the energy was explosive and new songs from stand up were alot better live than I would have thought.

This was my 19th Dave show, and quite possibly the best I have ever seen. Personally, the highlight was when Robert Randolph came out for Louisiana Bayou and the best version of Watchtower i have yet to hear.

When DMB was announced, I decided to go. The weekend was great, and the band put on a high energy show. I missed Herbie Hancock to get closer to the stage after the Allman Brothers.

I didn't actually attend the show since I was saving my energy for the late night acts at Bonnaroo (there's so much to see!). I could hear it all from camp and it was a solid performance. The guesting by Robert Randolph on Louisiana Bayou was a highlight.

Amazing show with no disappointments. Every song was incredible, and the energy from Bonnaroo was electric. Of the two shows I've been two, this one was by far the better of the two. I hope everyone who is seeing DMB in 2005 knows what a treat is in store for them!

Robert Randolph on the steel guitar was an amazing add to Down by the Bayou - although this was awesome - not quite as fun as being surrounded by nothing but Dave fans!

WOW! All I can say is Fucking WOW! There was so much energy in the crowd that was awaiting the show. Everyone was so excited and where Dave came out everyone went completely insane! What a setlist too! Warren Haynes blew the house up and Robert Randolph tore it down! I was so blown away that after the show I was looking at my friends like "What just happened???" It was great!

Bartender was phenominal, Jimi Thing with waren was f'n amazing as always, but then what happened when randolf came out was history. SO intense, so amazing, and hes up on his chair, im not sure ive seen anyone jam that hard before, wow.and all those people screaming and jumping and dancing with you. an incredible thing :)
