My first Dreaming Tree and the band played really well tonight. They seem to really like the Gorge and this translates well into the experience that is the Dave Matthews Band. Get up here and see a show or better yet stay and camp the whole weekend because these shos are special and this area is special. Peace out!

26th show, most diappointing ever. Dreaming Tree, Last Stop & Digging A Ditch were nice additions, but didn't anyone else notice that Dave lost the lyrics through the first two, and was totally lost in Digging a Ditch? He also blew the first few lines of LW... I understand that The Gorge is a special place for the guys, but I was disappointed that though they decided to break out some rarer material, it didn't seem practiced, or as though Dave even glanced at a lyric sheet. Watchtower closer was spectacular, it was a nice gesture to play Loving Wings in memory of a fan - and it was nice for me to see JTR's return to the set after a bit of an absence... Ah well, I have the memory of an amazing Saturday night to get me through til next time we meet...

best show of the weekend and dreaming tree, although dave stumbled through it, was sweet. sucks now that i have to leave God's country and Heaven's amphitheater to go back to Catalina Island for my wedding.

This was my second show, and my fiancee's first. we had an awesome time. They didn't play my favorite songs, but again I was totally floored by the sheer talent these guys have. JTR was awesome, Idea of You was probably our favorite. Grey Street, Dreaming Tree, Last Stop also great!

Great show, only show out of the three. Great energy from the band and the fans. Some think Dave forgot some words....who cares....could be Dave being Dave. Nice tribute to a fan he meet that was killed by a drunk driver back in March All Along The Watchtower!!! WOW only the 4th time it has been played all of 2006. That was a treat. I hope everyone that was at this show gets how rare that was during this years tour. 3 hours of jamming was a great way to end the weekend. Looking forward to a new album and another tour.

The show was great. First time at the Gorge and it was my fiancee's first show. Was hoping for the stone but LIOG,Crush,Dreaming Tree,Last Stop, and AATW. Enough said. Seemed as if Dave was having trouble remembering some of the words but oh well, it was the Gorge night 3!!!!! Only problem I had was with some drunk assholes behind us that kept spilling beer on our blanket and clothes and after being patient we moved and they thought it was funny to throw their beers (what remained) at our stuff. We didn't let the immature drinkers ruin our night.

holy shit!.....This show was soooo amazing! I have been going to the gorge for awhile..and I was completely blown away by this concert! The last stop, and jtr...it was moving. I wish that I could put this into words, but I can't it was just AMAZING. Carter, Boyd, LeRoi, Dave, Stefan, and butch, put there all into this, even after all three nights...this was the one that blew me away!!!! I can't wait until the gorge next year!

Sunday nights are always the best shows at this venue. The band knows that true fans made it this far and jam out treats all night long. If you made it to this show, ya know what I mean.

Excellent show. I've been wishing all summer that they would play Watchtower at the show, and they did, so I was incredibly stoked. The opening stretch was absolutely amazing; Last Stop and Lie in our Graves, were both amazing. Also, Dreaming Tree was very nice. Guest trumpet player was very talented, fit right in.

This was to me the best show of the weekend by far, and the second best of the 10 I've been to (the best was Golden Gate Park). It was clear that they had planned the weekend so that Sunday would be a special set. I predicted Grey Street would be number three -- ask the Ants from Utah in the camp next to me -- and left a comment on Fonz's myspace page asking if they were going to unleash Watchtower on Sunday night after not playing it all summer -- and they did! That and the great setlist was more than enough to overcome a few imperfections. Dreaming Tree was beautiful, even as Dave stumbled into the second verse -- and then tried to sing it again. I was worried I wouldn't get to hear it since he hadn't played it since June. I still can't figure out that Loving Wings, though, was he trying to sing the lyrics a step ahead of where they've always been, or was he just that out of it for the whole song? Finally, I have decided that with Rashawn's trumpet, The Idea of You sounds like an '80s wedding dance song. Not sure about it yet.

Best Show I've ever been to. Had lawn first two nights. third night energy was awesome. I was in row 13 right on the edge. Couldnt see Boyd real well, but everything else was amazing. People around were much more hardcore fans than up in the lawn.

Show was great, The last stop blew my mind. Dreaming tree this night was amazing, I had seen it twice before too and none compared to this awesome version. Dave messed up on the lyrics, but it was an awesome jam.

First watchtower all season and it was amazing. The gorge is really the most amazing venue. hands down will fly back again from michigan.

Daves voice was a little off from doing American baby into the night before. He was having a hard time, but overall awesome show.

Granny was great way to start off the last night at the Gorge. Love love love Grey Street, when I was trying to figure out what songs to expect on night 3 I had totally spaced this one and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. That stretch of JTR, Crush, Dreaming Tree and Last Stop was great. The intro to Last Stop was really cool, didn't know what was coming but was super excited for it! And nothing needs to be said about the closer, seeing Watchtower live is one of my favorite things in the world.

What a great 2nd half, Last Stop and another Loving Wings which was a very sad dedication to a fan that passed away. I don't mind this repeat at all and it meant a lot coming from Dave. What a great end to the weekend, we wrapped this up hard core back at Getty's!

Amazing show, best of 20 for me. Dreaming Tree followed by Last Stop? Insane. When has that ever happened before? And yes, Dave forgot two verses in DT, but come on, 1)they hardly ever play this beautiful song, so it's a treat to hear, and 2)the jam out of DT was some of the best collective group jamming I've ever heard, no one standing out more than another. Last Stop was incredible as well as LIOG, and in fact the whole show was musically one of the most emotional shows (of any band) I've been to, mistakes and all.

This show ranks #1 so far out of twenty shows! The guys played with so much energy, you would have thought they were on crack! Every single one of these guys songs are evolving every day; even the ones that they've played a million times. By far the best Jimi I've seen in 7 years with butch going nuts scatin like he was dave. The watchtower closer was amazing with stefan intro and a little star spangled banner rap in there. AWESOME!

Wow. Just wow. I was happy with the shows the two previous nights, but this just blew everything out of the water. Granny, JTR, DT (messed up lyrics and all!), WATCHTOWER! I loved the scat on Jimi Thing: freaking hilarious! Perfect end to a perfect weekend.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!

#1: Granny, Typical, Grey Street are the first three songs (muahaha)

#3: JTR...

Indescribable. Could ONLY have been better if we had heard Halloween, Two Step, or both (HA)

In my top three best concerts of all time. I could have swore that they were going into what you are just as they changed it and started last stop. great version of loving wings. That randolph story was a downer but very well received. Left the amphi singing cant stop. that song is amazing.

I'd like to sum the show up as follows. We took my 12 year old son for his first dmb show. In the car, on the way home, I started by saying that I had one word to describe the feeling of watching Boyd play his solo in LIOG. Before I could say it, my son answered JOY. This show was truly a JOY!

Review:
Best show out of the 13 I've seen. That stretch of Lie in our Graves, JTR, Crush, Dreaming Tree, and The Last Stop was insane. Great intro to The Last Stop as well, reminded me of the '98 intros. Nice jams during Typical Situation and Crush. What will get lost in the shuffle is how good Lie in our Graves was tonight. If you only download one song from tonight, download Graves. Great to hear Digging a Ditch because I love that song. Dreaming Tree was a little botched because Dave clearly forgot the lyrics, but ended with some heavy work by Carter. Jimi Thing was epic, and a surprisingly long version considering how long they had already played at that point. Nice scatting from Dave and Butch! Butch tore it up. A little surprised at the repeat of Loving Wings, but Dave mentioned a story about a guy named Robert as he began playing Loving Wings. Robert was a guy that Dave had met who was killed by a drunk driver earlier this year. So, I think that the Loving Wings repeat may have had something to do with it being Robert's favorite song. Nice to see Watchtower close out the encore. Incredible energy throughout the night. Well done DMB.

Its so hard to compare any shows to Red Rocks Night 2 and 3 because of the atmosphere, and the level of the shows especially compared to that year. But if one was going to come close for me, I would say this one did. I still havent decided, and if they are smart, this one is released so I can compare the two. But the show was great and long, and the first watchtower of the year to close it was almost perfect way to end the weekend.
