Possibly the best show I've seen. IMHO there wasn't a single bad song (IFHAD is a good song). Only possible complaint would be using stay to close. I'd also like to kill the guy who ran on stage and possibly ruined last stop.

It would have been an awesome show if it weren't for the crappy seats. I thought AA was close...oops!! =/ I couldn't hear a thing for the acoustics all mixing together into a bunch of just "noise". Overall, great setlist, a little long, but some nice suprises. I am looking forward to the next tour!

Not as freaking amazing as the first night, but still a great way to end the year...screw that ass who ran on stage, but I'm gonna venture into saying that if that ruined The Last Stop from being played, then thats just gay on the part of the band. But anyway, I had a great time and can't wait till next year, cheers!

Both shows were good..night 2 being better...i thought night 1 started lame as it was the exact same 4 songs from what i had heard a week ago at the world..and the fact that there were only like 4 songs in the setlist that he didnt play at the world..jammed out hardcore on night 2..highlights of weekend were rhyme(1), two step(1) and so right(1), and loving wings(2), bayou(2), if i had it all(2), smooth rider(2) and butterfly(2)...the whole weekend was amazing with getting the chance to chill at millers and seeing the warehouse... we all hope robert's alright after his spill he took on night 2...keep on rockin!!

Loved the show. Carter is magic. Enjoy the development of Shotgun over the summer with latest version being my favorite. Randolph added to the band's energy. A little trumpet remains a nice addition. Butterfly started what would have been an explosive encore before the buzz kill of an intruding fan. Dave (et al.) was "enormous".

This was a fun show! They were so on! Seats were awesome and thanks for the people who didn't show next to us, we had tons of room to dance! Who would miss a second of these guys???? Venue was awesome and we were dead-center up in sec. G overlooking everyone - no one in front of us, so we had a clear view of the creep who ended up on stage! Yes! STAY OFF THE STAGE! Thanks for ruining the encore!

The show was great and then lost momentum with Smooth Rider and the Bayou repeat. I hope the fan who fucked up the American Baby Intro into Last Stop dies because Last Stop was so what I wanted. Stay just left me feeling empty.

Friggin great. Better than N1. Classics like Seek Up, Warehouse, Nancies all made my night. Familiar favs like Grey Street and DDTW topped it off too. Awesome show although I was dissapointed by the Stay closer just like every other VA stop this summer.

N2 How weird it was to see everyone in front of Millers like that but it felt so good to see everyone so happy! Wish we could have jammed a little longer but it was frickin awesome while it lasted so anyways I think my momentum was building up so high all the way through OSW, Seek up which was awesome, GS, Shotgun which was my 1st and I loved it! Prolly my fav out of the new ones, then into DDTW and once Hunger started I was just like O'well this won't be a fenway Then Loving wings which is fav and into a sick billies with the intro!! If I had it all rose to a new level Crush also kicked ass DG with a new switch of Intro and outro which didn't make it all that bad Nancies into a sick warehouse, danced my ass off too! SR a little long but funny watching RR and the rest of the band sorta battle it out Bayou, awesome with RR even though it was a repeat and the interesting encore: Butterfly, my 1st but whenever I hear it I get a lil choked up ABI, predicted it and so badd ass until dumbass walked on the stage and of course stay...... I think the last song really makes or breaks the show (at the moment) because I was a little dissapointed but understood because of the idiot throwing off their momentum but then to find out Last stop was on the setlist really broke my heart. But its the people I hung out with after the show that really made this whole weekend special So thanks DMB and everyone for a great summer

Going into the show i knew nothing was going to top night one. However, i was really disappointed they played hunger and bayou two nights in a row. If these two songs were replaced along with Stay, it would have been an amazing show. Butterfly was amazing as was everything before smooth rider. Despite them repeated two songs from night one... the show was still pretty good.

Met Butch again. This time he was with his wife and kid. Pretty cool family. I met a few people who work for the warehouse and they let us sit in their seats which were 7 rows from the stage, Roi's side. As the band took the stage for their final show of the tour in the John Paul Jones Arena on the campus of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville; they faced a packed crowd of new and old fans. Coming off a show where a lot of the mainstream favorites (Too Much, Crash, Ants, etc) where played- the fans were anxious to hear some real gems that Dave had left in his pocket. Dave delivered with the first chords of One Sweet World- and the crowd’s reaction was in agreement. The band followed up with Seek Up, a rarity for this tour, and Grey Street. As Dave said at the start, “We’re going to start off with some easy songs…” After the set was underway he pulled out some newer works with Shotgun and Loving Wings. Both pieces were well done and reflected a maturity that both songs underwent after many shows of development. Tripping Billies, Crush and Dreamgirl got the crowd going and dancing in the seats. The true highlight of the set in my eyes was Dancing Nancies that followed into Warehouse. The classic pairing from the UTTAD album came to life on stage with the same energy and cohesiveness. Robert Randolph came on stage after Warehouse to lend his talents on Smooth Rider and Louisana Bayou. The encore featured Butterfly, a song he dedicated to his children, and a jam packed American Baby Intro. Up until this point the crowd’s demands for Last Stop were very strong- you could hear the chants for the song throughout the set. It appears that Dave wanted to make please his fans by including the song in the encore- but a drunken man in a trenchcoat snuck on stage and caused a security scare that caused the set to end early with Stay. Despite the interruption the Dave Matthews Band ending the tour in style with a set that appealed to the true DMB fan. Let’s hope that the next tour will include less interruptions.

Louisianna Bayou with RR is the best version I've ever and probably will ever hear, hands down. Since doing this review almost a year later, I can say that this weekend is what started my near obsession for DMB (and I thought I loved them before...ha!) and I will now travel as much as possible to hear them play.

This show was pretty sweet, and sentimental for the mere fact that it was the last show of the tour and it happened to be in Dave's hometown. I went with my cousin Kevin, flew out there and stayed with him in Arlington, VA It was a great time before the show hanging out at Millers' which was Dave's original bar where he tended, as well as began his career playing live. It was sweet. The show was "SO SO" I wasn't that impressed with it to be honest, but it was still a great time!

Man, excellent show. Stoked that they played for over 3 1/2 hours. Kinda dissapointed they repeated hunger and bayou. if they knew that they were going to play those songs, why didn't they play different songs the first night or vise versa? there was no need to play both those songs both nights. Last stop would have been awesome...trenchcoat mother fucker. again, every song i heard were the best versions i've heard. I've really, really come to dislike stay... would have been tolerable if last stop was played. but stay almost ruined the show for me highlights: seek up, shotgun, loving wings, if i had it all, nancies. all were different and crazy jams. boyd was all over the place.

This was a great show. Everything was jammed out to perfection. Definately the longest show I have ever witnessed at nearly 3 1/2 hours long. My highlights were a great Seek up, Loving Wings, Nancies>Warehouse which never gets old, and a great encore that unfortunately got cut short due to the wierd guy on stage....Im just happy nobody was hurt. No telling what his intentions were. AB intro was awesome..Dave really got into it. Butterfly was a nice treat too.

Personally, I liked N2 better. Seek Up was great, and I always love Grey Street live. Crush was also very good. See ya'll next year.

The better of the two nights in my opinion. Seek Up was great early. I heard a couple of tunes I had never seen live, Loving Wings, Butterfly, and AB Intro and those were highlights. Shotgun was stunning. The song has progressed quite a bit since I first heard it early in the tour. Joe Lawlor's solo on If I Had it All was really good. Robert Randolph's performances on Smooth Rider and Louisiana Bayou kicked butt. I would have preferred not to hear the repeats of Bayou and Hunger from night one. Watchtower would have been better with RR. I was expecting Last Stop as final encore, so I was disappointed with Stay yet again. Really good show overall.

Yeah. Wow. N2 was rather weak sauce in relation to N1. Now, if they had've swapped shows, both would be pretty great but when you lead off a two-night run like the way they did with N1, N2 just pails in comparison.

Awesome show - what else would I expect. I got to see 2 of my favorites live for the first time (Seek Up and Loving Wings) and almost got to see a third (The Last Stop). Despite what folks are claiming, I don't think the trench coat freak is the reason The Last Stop was dropped from the set list. (It was definitely on the setlist between American Baby Intro and Stay. See DMBAlmanac.com for a picture of the set list.) From my vantage point....6th row....from the ceiling (section 313, worst seats ever but who's complaining) I was forced to use binoculars. I was looking down at Dave as ABI was winding down to see if I could get a clue of the next song. BEFORE the trench coat dude incident, Dave looked at each member of the band and appeared to be pointing to his throat and making a slashing gesture - which I took to mean his throat was killing him and he was making a song change. In retrospect, I believe he was telling them to skip The Last Stop and go straight to Stay. That's when trench coat dude made it into my field of vision. I think it freaked me out more than the band (even though I was 300ft away in the rafters.) Anyhow, great show and great venue. I was worried the acoustics wouldn't sound good being indoors but I was very wrong. I can't wait for next years tour.

Unbelievable Show...This is the best I've ever seen. One Sweet World was a perfect opener...Shotgun was the best song of the night. This song has come a long way since I saw it at Hershey. Don't Drink the Water and Hunger for the Great Light had a ton of energy. Loving Wings surprised me and Carter went crazy at the end. A mid-set Billies shocked the crowd. If I Had it All with the guest guitarist was awesome. Nancies->Warehouse was great as usual. Smooth Rider was completely different than I've ever heard it. Boyd had a long solo at the end of this one, and Randolph added a lot of energy. 5th time I've heard Bayou this year, and this was the best. American Baby intro was unbelievable. Dave mentioned before Butterfly that he was "going to do a lot of screaming later," and ABI was insane. Stay was a great closer as usual. Great weekend. Thanks DMB.

I can say that I had the highest expectations for this show believing that it would be the best I've seen even leaving the famous 12/10/05 MSG show in the dust. That ended up not being the case but the band still made me have a blast and the energy in the crowd was blowing the roof off. The highlights for me were hearing my favorite combo of Dancing Nancies and Warehouse(No Louie, Louie though) and Bayou with Robert Randolph. Tripping Billies and Crush also made for a special night but I guess I was let down because I was hoping for Last Stop or Halloween. We didn't get either and I thought the band should have pulled them out. I mean come on. It was the Last Stop and the crowd was shouting for it all night. I know Dave doesn't listen to the crowd when deciding but there was no reason why this shouldn't have happened. Overall, the show was a jam fest with the crowd totally into it and making the joint shake with noise. I will make sure I always make it to this venue in the future as the pregaming in the parking lot with all the awesome people made for a fantastic weekend. Dave Matthews in Charlottesville is a total go for me anytime. Just tell me when. Awesome!!! Enough said :)

This was a great day, all together. Very nice drive over to Charlottesville from Randolph Macon. Me and my friend had a couple of local brews at the South Street brewery before the show. The show started off with a very beautiful One Sweet World (love it as an opener). Then Seek Up. This song is always great at establishing the mood for a show, and it did just that, Leroi was so good. Other highlites include: Loving Wings, Tripping Billies, Dream Girl, and Smooth Rider>Louisiana Bayou with Robert Randolph. Those songs are taylor made for him. The song of the night was butterfly. I say this because you could tell Dave was really passionate about this tune, he gave a little speech about what the song meant to him. I heard this song for the first time last year at Red Rocks and it was very nice, but this version had a little more to it. Even though Last Stop was apparently cut from the setlist, because of that dude. I give the band credit for staying professional during this situation, and they played one of the best versions of Stay I've heard (consider the fact that I witnessed the version at Va Beach with the fireworks). I heard this as an encore 4 times this year and I think it's just a great way to wrap up a great show and fittingly, a great year. I must say that this was a very fun tour for me, I had a great time from June-September, and I will also say I was very excited at the fact that with this being my 35th show, this band still has the ability to surprise veteran concert-goers. I can't wait for next year. I will see everyone then, take care.

Great show - very long - stupid fan ruined the last stop, hope he gets it up the hershey highway! Was hoping for something special like #41 or Watchtower. Show was a little more mellow than I like. Great Nancies/Warehouse back to back and Smooth Rider/Bayou with Robert. Cracked me up when he went over the chair. Can't wait till next year.

It was a wonderful show. Always different. Had a lot of ups and downs. LONG!!!! The guy that got on stage freaked me out. I saw him before the concert and he sat in our section also. Very strange. I loved Butterfly. I love Robert Randolph. I was so excited when he played Bayou with them! It was cool seeing twins in pink ear muffs. I love Boyd!!! I think he stole the show.

A great last stop, I thought the song choices were good but I expected a song like last stop or halloween to be thrown in there, but it was a great way to end the tour

Not a great show overall, and the random guy that came on stage sadly caused the guys to leave the stage before reaching a full climax to the show.

Awesome Show. Robert Randolph was excellent. Loved Warehouse. Too bad that Asshole got on stage and possibly ruined hearing The Last Stop. Can't wait for next year.

Another great performance and I had the best seats for this show... it felt like we were floating over the stage, and on the side Dave seems to favor. This viewpoint also was perfect for watching Carter, who never seems to stop smiling.. definately the most amazing drummer I have ever seen.

well to say the least it was quite a unique show...i dont really know where to rank this one. i'm not gonna go into the encore situation but maybe this so called eerie vibe everyone is talking about stems from the alcohol vending ban at the arena? in any event, boyd was on and had some sick momments with randolph during the improv jam. other high notes were If i Had it All exteneded jam with the added electric guitar, billies nature intro, seekup in the 2 spot (regardless of frequent verse vocal mix up by dave), loving wings and butterfly were both beautiful. On the other hand, the show didnt have the same flawless flow like msg N2 05 which i was kind of expecting given the circumstances. nancies-warehouse was solid but lacked the outro. One lesson i learned from a friend of the band i met was that if your going to travel to see a show, you'd better make sure you have the seats to compliment it. Now i know i got second hand instants off the WH forum but everyone else in the section was a little disapointed that there was nothing but a wall behind us. One last note about reviews in general, last time i reviewed a show i got nasty private messages telling me my observations from the show were wrong (which they weren't and were provable), if you have a complaint about a review keep it to yourself, the very nature of a review is a persons opinion.

My 33rd show, and 4th this tour. Very solid show, great crowd energy. My highlights were Nancies->Warehouse, DDTW, Billies, Crush & Dreamgirl. I also really liked what they've done with Shotgun. The show kind of fell off for me with Smooth Rider and Bayou (it seems like they've played them at every show i've been to), and was kind of dissappointed with the encore. Last Stop would have saved it for me, but the bum in the trenchcoat ruined it. Great time overall in C'ville.

This show was great with the exception of the creepy guy getting on stage during the encore. I'm not complaining about the setlist either but I must've just worked this show up too much in my head. I was a little disappointed to not hear Watchtower or Granny or Last Stop... especially when they'd been playing them, and I've never heard them live. But the boys did put on a 3 hour show which just kept going... it definately made me wanna stay for awhile!! What a great tour, well worth the 8 hour drive to VA!
