This was my first DMB show and it was so much better then I thought it was going to be. 35,000 people singing and dancing.. It was awesome. Great set list and I am happy that I got to see Leroi Moore my saxophone and musical idle before his sad passing.

Show #19 for me, and one of the top 5 I've seen. PFWYG was huge, opening with Two Step always gets the energy going in the crowd. Only downfalls were playing a cover as the last song and playing at Busch Stadium. Again, I'm all for covers, just not the last song of the night. Busch is a great place to see the Cardinals lose, but there is only so much you can do to make it feel like a concert venue.

The band was great, the venue sucked ass. The floor seats were all tied together. When we moved to the "dancing" area, security kept messing with everyone. Oh well, the band was having a lot of fun. The new lights display and images on the screens were really good. I like the #26 but hardly enyone knew it. I probably wouldn't go back to that stadium for a show, but I still will see more shows of course.

A great show. Got to hear Grey Street, Ants Marching, and Crash, which are some of my favorites. This was my third Dave concert and I was really hoping for Watchtower. Final song of the encore was kind of a disappointment. Other than that, it was really enjoyable. I don't know that I've ever heard Pay for What you Get, but I really enjoyed it at the concert.

So...just got back to Alton where I live across the river, and I must say after 13 shows since 2001 this was the best one (and I was there for the Superfreak show at Alpine). The band has a new energy right now and they are having fun on stage like never before. The #40 tease almost gave me a heart attack "Tables turned again to you my friend" and then everyday. To those who sit at their computers and bitch about the encore with ED, Bayou, and Thank you, you can all just sit there and bitch because it was kickin like nothing else. I honestly believe that hearing ED at a show is awesome. And Boyd was ON FIRE tonight. Highlight of the night: CRUSH - best version I've ever heard. Pay For What You Get was great and all, but the crowd clearly didn't know what the song was. But it did sound fabulous and had the norwegian wood outro on it as well. The Recently was truncated but the water/wine ---> nature intro was kickass. Ants was the best i've ever heard it as well. They played the dave and tim intro/first verse and then played the entire song full band (with first verse again). Dave of course danced during Thank You and the crowd sang (all 35,000 of them). Also, sadly as a a Cubs fan I must report that Carter wore a Cardinals jersey bearing the #41 on it.

Real props to the city of St. Louis and the Cardinals. This was their first concert at New Busch stadium and they did a fantastic job. The sound was great, the lights were great, the porta potties were close, and i thought all in all it was an outstanding venue.

Feel free to ask me more about this badass show that will surely be a Live CD if not a Live DVD (also, i did not see many cameras so I doubt the latter).

I was blown away, what a show to make a trip for. Pay for what you get was insane, full band on So Damn Lucky and the Ants Marching was the best I've ever heard. Tim and LeRoi battling on Crush was nuts. I don't know how easy to notice, but Dave named #27 "I Hope You'll Be By Me Then." The ultimate highlight for me was Dave laying down the guitar to dance around the stage for Thank You. There are no words for this one. Best of 6 for me.

The reason i only want to give this show a four, because a five is just too hard to come by. A five in my opinion is hearing nearly, or every rare song you want to hear in one concert. Being that it is impossible to see that, unless you were at the '06 Alpine Valley shows. If you weren't or don't know how amazing it was, check it out. In my opinion, a four star show is an all around good dave show that you talk about for a week or two, and then go back to normal. A five star show is a show that only comes around every few years or so. I hope that some day i will see a five star show, but for now I'm content with four.

That show was unbelievable, Dave couldn't have picked a better set list... it's not often Dave opens the show with Two Step, which was played to perfection. Ant's Marching was to me the song of the night!!! the crowd looked a little dead for a few songs like pay for what you get, but i couldn't find myself sitting down for even a second. That was by far the best show i have ever been to and I've seen a few good shows from RUSH to Bon Jovi, Dave tops them all though, i'm looking forward to seeing my fifth show in Noblesville In.

This was my 15th Show and this one has got to be in the top 3 and thats including Piedmont. An overall great show - great setlist, venue, and weather. The boys never let you down thats for sure. Should have known it was going to be good when they opened with Two Step. Highlights have to be PFWYG, Recently, Wine/Water, and Hey Hey My My. I heard Thank You with DM&F at Bonnaroo so I was hoping for Money, but never bad when you can hear that many people singing along with Dave to a song like that. Only thing that could have made it better is if the Crowes had joined in on a song. That would have been cool. All in all though an awesome show. Next up West Palm Beach.

Opening with the screens in front of the band while playing two step was stressful and exciting, then seeing carter with a cards jersey on and tim with the stl hat on... that was a huge relief and such a surprise. I heard two things that i never thought i would hear PFWYG and WATER/WINE! PFWYG is one of my favorite songs and i was disappointed to see people sitting down during it! What a great show. My 25th over the years and definitely somewhere at/near the top. I was lucky the WH hooked me up w/ 3rd row seats. I just can't believe I was able to have such a great time at a DMB show without having to leave town to do it. Normally I feel like I have to head out to Alpine/Deer Creek/Red Rocks, etc to get a great concert experience, but the show at Busch was every bit as good as those I've seen there. Hopefully they will make Busch an annual stop and keep away from Riverport.

Two step, Crush, Recently-> Water/Wine Jam, Neil Young cover (sounds a lot like Neil singing this unlike Down by the River), Ants, and the last 2 minutes of YMDT was slammin! 3 songs in the encore were not ideal, but still was 3 songs. Crush was played nicely. Timmy ripped it on You Might Die Trying and Two Step. Also the most epic Ants Marching ever with just tim and dave jammin on the first verse just to do it over again with the whole band. Then Boyd going 2 measures on the breakdown. Sick Concert for sure.

A downer on to night was the fact carter reconised me from last night threw me a stick at the end of the show but the d bag next to me did not see carter point to me and sniped my drum stick carter saw this and threw another but d bag got it as well. it sucks being short. oh well Karma is all i got to say. but as my 19th and 20th shows these were a couple of the best shows ive ever seen now i have to wait for rothbury see ya all soon insain two nights

I have to rank it a 5 because life is short and this was a really good show...period. I've been to a few better shows, but how can you have a totally kick ass time with 35K other loony fans and rank it a 4? Dave seemed very driven tonight and Tim Reynolds was just awesome with his talent and rock-out ability. His Card's trucker hat and Star Wars look-a-like shirt that read Stop Wars was cool as well. Everyone was having fun and singing and dancing. It's got to be a 5 baby.

absolutely great energy. water wine jam! i was kind of surprised to have that come out during a stadium show because about 10% of the people even knew what it was (maybe 10.. im being generous)... and PFWYG?!?!!? im a huge fan of this quiet little song even though the crowd wasn't quite sure of it. i think dave throws these kind of gems in there for the diehards to have to listen to crash for the 1000th time to appease the average stadium goer. otherwise, tims solos were phenomenal. crush was absolutely great. two step opener didnt dissapoint. i like hey hey my my, but i actually think it has greater potential for D&T. i like how theyve mixed up the solos for YMTD so that roi has the midsong jam. the ants closer was excellent too. i like how they're experimenting with such an old song. i dont feel the need to repeat the first verse however. i think if d&t could play the riff like they did last night and dave could improv or make new lyrics for about 30 seconds that fit the beat, it could work great into the typical snare intro. otherwise boyds solo seemed extra long. three song encore was unexpected and good too. i thought LB was going to be the set closer and i was a little dissapointed. i thought thank you at toyota park the night before was better then at busch. this show would've gotten a full five stars if two things would've happened. 1. better crowd participation for hani hani during everyday and 2. if the closer would've been a DMB song. i get the whole "try new things" deal. i trust dave, thats cool. but if you take out LB and thank you and supplant a warehouse, or AATW, the crowd goes absolutely apeshit. and yes i know watchtower is a cover, but its basically there own song. bayous ending/lights were phenomenal though.

also heard recently perfectly during soundcheck. cool stuff for a young-ins like my self. 4 shows and going strong, both alpine nights ahead, and possibly both noblesville nights.

Finally made it to my 1st DMB show and they played my fav, Tripping Billies. I was enjoying myself so much I accidentally knocked a pretzel out of the guy's hand behind me. Got him a new one, and it was the Best pretzel I ever bought! Sound quality seemed to be hit and miss depending on your location in the stadium. At my seats (section 240, 1st base) the music sounded pretty good, but I could not understand a word Dave said between songs. Couldn't see the band very well due to distance, but the video screens helped, and the awesome light effects made me forget about it completely. Black Crowes just got up and walked off stage without saying a word after their opening set... But Dave said "Thank You" at the end of the night. Great Concert overall.

The show was great! Out of all the Dave shows that I have seen this one takes the cake. Since I am from St. Louis it was great to see them here and at my favorite baseball team's stadium! The entire setlist was perfect for the crowd there. Minus the fact that everyone there was talking during the show, it was still amazing.

The band was great, but the stadium was awful. I will not do another stadium show unless I have pit tickets. It was hot, sound was awful and I couldn't see a damn thing.

As most of you know, it is hard to put into words what being at a DMB show is like, and most of the time it is just easier to say "You had to be there." Well this show was obviously no exception, and seeing at it was my 17th show, I am finding it harder and harder understanding how DMB top themselves. I am going to say this is the best show I have been to, and I have seen some gems! Despite that every DMB show is a gift, seeing as it was Busch Stadium's first concert, the weather, the Arch in the backdrop, Tim Reynolds being from St. Louis and adding so much to the songs, and the entire atmosphere along with the amazing people my friend and I were lucky to be next to and dance with in section C2 on the field, and with a setlist that was out of this world, all combined it made for a perfect evening with the boys. There were so many surprises and gems for me it would be hard to go through them all, but I think it is safe to say "Thank You" to DMB for letting us be ourselves (and us to them).....again. What an honor it was to share that stadium with the band and all you fans last night....I am truly blessed! See you all at Alpine....dmb_3441@yahoo.com to discuss the St. Louis show if you would like.

Hope they make it back here sooner or later because I can\'t live with another show at VZW Amphitheater...

Great show!! Great set list (except not playing Bartender for my friend who was desperate to hear it). Only knocks for me was where I was sitting (far right of stage in the seating on the field) was that hard to understand Dave when he talked and that the rest of the crowd (those in the stands) seemed so far away and hard to get their energy. I looked around several times and saw the activity, but rarely felt their vibe. Great close to the show on the encore with Thank You.

My first show! It was absolutely amazing. Two Step was a perfect opener, loved You Might Die Tryin', Ants, Crash Into Me, and the first Water Into Wine Jam since 1995! Oh and it got released officially as the 13th live trax, that might be the best part.

Best show I have seen. Two Step opener was fantastic, but I thought "Wow, how do they top this?" and the band delivered. Highlights included: Rhyme & Reason, Cornbread, So Damn Lucky, Recently->Water Wine Jam->Tripping Billies, Ants and Everyday. The crowd was full of life, the venue was great and the weather was perfect. Here's to hoping for a Live Trax release as I didn't see any taper mic stands in the crowd.

Missed teh black crows, I was bummed about that.
DMB was great though. I really enjoyed the set list! Dave had great energy at teh end of the show. Only wish it would have been louder, or people would stop calling there friends on there cell phones screeming to them what song they are playing only to not listen to the song at all. That shit is annoying. The worst I've seen that was in St. Louis. I also thought it was very noticeable to not have Butch there. It would be great to have both he and Tim in the band. All in all though I really liked the show.

Highlights:
Two Step opener, the reappearance of Recently/Water Wine and PFWYG, the jam on Crush, Tripping Billies, and no weak points on the setlist.

This was such an amazing show. The band was on fire tonight and they JAMMED OUT! Roi and Tim definitely stood out more than anyone else (which is a good thing!)
Highlights:
Recently > Water/Wine Jam > Billies (Nature Intro)
How insane?!?!?!?!??!!!!!
But Crush was really the best performance of the night. The solo dueling between Roi and Tim was just unbelieveable.
You Might Die Trying was the best I ever heard. Dave was crazy on this one at the end.
Honestly though this whole set was solid and there was never a dull moment.
I would've chosen a better encore but none the less I really can't complain. Thank You was still very cool.

Here I am in my hotel room looking down on the venue where I just saw one of, if not the best show I have seen. Lots of energy and a great, upbeat setlist. I smell a Live Trax! Tim is, in a word, awesome! The little man can play big like none other. (This coming from a 5' 6" guy himself) Stephan played lights out, and Boyd showed me why he can never leave this band. Without Boyd there is no DMB. I enjoyed every song, even the two I listened to in the portapottie, where the acoustics are better than you might think. (#27 & You Might Die Trying) I have been to show with better setlists, but this was the complete package! Now I have to wait for Omaha, but it is worth the wait.
