SPAC LOVES DMB, & DMB LOVES SPAC
I have never been part of a show where the chemistry between the band, venue, and fans were so in line with each other that it continued to push the performance to a higher and higher level. The setlist was outstanding and well put together and performed. A great mix, with great talent= a potential once in a lifetime experience. Standouts for me are of course #40 and feel lucky to be there for that one, LIOG, crowd lead Jimi Thing, and I am loving the cover tunes; Thank You was the most fun jam to be part of. I will say that this show is everything people are raving about; it was that good. I enjoyed that TR's guitar seemed to be tamed a bit from Camden where it seemed to overpower the classic DMB sound the we know & love(still a great component of this tour though). The band jamming and dancing at the end is something I have never seen before and really emphasized how much fun they were having too. Nothing will ever top your first show, but this one is 1A. Cheers to all who were part of it and made it such a special evening. Cheers.

For my first DMB show, I think it was awesome, and apparently it's one of the best in years anyway. Pretty exciting to be a part of the best show DMB performed since 2000. I think I'll definitely be returning to SPAC for DMB in the future.

Crowd was happy to finally get their first full band #40 since 2000! Also the infamous "Thank you for letting me be myself" by dave was this night and...well... that was nuts. 5 out of 5 stars

Completely amazed, the best show that I have ever seen. Had a feeling that it would be an epic show after the great performance on friday. Unbelievable setlist and played to perfection. #40 and thank you encore were great along with the ants arrangement. Thanks a lot guys.

40, 41, Dreaming Tree...just an awesome show. Unbelievable energy from the band and it washed over the crowd from the get go. Rhyme and Reason stood out for me along with #40 for obvious reasons.

This show was beyond words, and I've been to a number of memorable east coast based shows. The energy from both the band and crowd was amazing, and Dave was in a stellar mood, and even said so at the beginning. That really showed itself in Dave letting us sing a vast majority of Jimi Thing by ourselves. It was incredible. I will definitely not forget this show!

The best show of all time.... The Dreaming Tree, 41 ,R&R, Shotgun, and Ants run was actually unbelievable. Every song had so much energy, with the band only slowing down to play a dream so real. 30,000 people singing Jimi Thing, a little davespeak and of course 40 just to make sure that this was the best show of all time

Best dave show ever. The whole band was on point and it was a perfect night for it. Loved singing with the band on Jimi Thing. Dave was loving it the whole night. Loved when Dave went nuts on Thank You, throwing the mic and letting us finish for him while he danced his face off on stage. Absolutely incredible. I don't want to go to work Monday because it'll mean that this incredible weekend is over.

Dave gave us the Lie in Our Graves Reprise owed to us from last year. Has it even been played since then? No need to release this show on live trax, every fan will have a copy by the end of the week, simply the best the band has ever been. It was like seeing them for $5 at some bar in Virgina. Thank You.

19th show and the best yet.. i had high expectations for SPAC, but this blew them away. 12th show and the best crowd/band interaction i have ever witnessed...thought I was going to pass out when he played #40 after promising it the night before...saw his little guitar and knew shotgun was coming...really thought the band was going to launch into a halloween/last stop-ish type song after they gathered before so much to say->ASTB->Too Much. The show that I've always been wanting to see and now I can just enjoy all other performances for what they are. Incredible.

In the past I was happy when they went on a good 2 or 3 song roll. This show...not a clunker in the set. And just when I thought it was time for a beer they would throw in a wrinkle like #40 or letting the audience sing part of Jimi Thing. Other highlights for me where Tim on #41, Dave on Shotgun, Boyd on LIOG and Roi...shit...was on fire.

My 14th show and definitely the best I\'ve been to. The setlist was incredible and the band was more fired up than I\'ve even seen them, especially dave. I followed Dave from Darien Lake on Tuesday and across the state to both SPAC shows. June 21 is to date -- the greatest experience of my life. The show was unfucking believable!!!!!! The guys all played like gods. Standing in the crowd screaming the lyrics to every song, surrounded by other Dave worshippers,amazing gift of a setlist, altered state of mind. The perfect show. Thank you thank you thank you Dave! And thank you for closing with thank you. I couldn't have fantasized better Dave dancing than that. Dave was shakin' his hot ass all over that stage.

I sat in Section 16 Row D thanks to a kind Warehouse member from South Dakota who sold me the seats the night before! It was one of those shows that is hard to put into words and is probably the best performance of the 16 SPAC shows I've been to! Its Probably the best of all shows I've had the pleasure of attending. Dave looked a bit taken aback at the beginning of Jimi Thing due to the crowd hitting the opening verse perfectly on cue! He and the band loved it though! What a show!

The band was on fire and the crowd became another member of the band, taking over for Dave during the verses of the later songs. It was definately one of the best shows I've ever been to. The Butch Taylor Tribute section (Money into That's What I Want) was amazing. After 2/3 of the concert the band huddled up and revised the set list, having the roadies rip them off the stage and toss them into the crowd. Live experiences like this one are why people love Dave so much.

This was my first DMB show. I'd be lying if I said that I was a huge fan. I like them very much, but am challenged when it comes to listening to all of, say, Crash in one sitting. However, I've always wanted to see them live, and since my finance is a fan I figured this was a great opportunity. This is easily the best rock concert I've been too. I can't think of anything that comes close, and I've been to a TON of shows. Judging by the looks of it, I may be spoiled by having this be my first DMB show. Apologies to those hardcore fans if you didn't get a ticket on the account of me buying one, I promise I'll do my best to get a broader appreciation of them so I can feel like I deserved to be there last night. I may be a guy who only knew the words to Don't Drink the Water and So Much to Say, and felt much more comfortable to singing along to the "Money" suite, but I'll be telling the grandkids about this show, and rest assured I'll be there next time they're Upstate.

Blew me away. There honestly was not a bad song played during this show. I LOVE cornbread...it was stuck in my head the whole morning after the show. Tim Reynolds is a god and I must say I prefer him over Butch - he adds to much more. The band was so tight, Dave's voice is a gem, and we had some real treats. Of course there were some songs I wanted to hear that didn't get played, but who cares? Money is a SICK cover they chose to do. 5 stars.

The Band have everything going for them. Boyd, LeRoi and Rashawn Ross were unreal. Tim Reynolds did things people thought were impossible. One of LeRoi's greatest and sadly one of his last shows. Should be released as LiveTRAX. Words can not explain how great it really was.

I am amazed witht this show. the greatest show i have ever been to. i have only been to ten but this tops them all. #40 just topped the whole thing off. LIOG was finished in the encore was so exciting. this concert will not be topped in years from now, and this proves that SPAC is one of the top venues ever.

Oh yea, throw in #40, Money, LIOG, Jimi (That was a blast everyone singing), LIOG REPRISE (Are you kidding with this one?) oh My YO !!! There is so much to say about this night. It was my 21st show and my first time at SPAC since 2002. I walked outta there thinkin "My Mind Is Blown!", and I've been waiting for a DMB concert with this high energy since the Central Park concert. It definitely earns a permanent spot in my all-time top-3 DMB concerts. I need to gather my thoughts and then revise this...

Hands down one of the most epic shows the band has ever put on in my opinion. Was originally located in section 26, but traded tickets with two ants members so they could videotape the show without being busted. Wound up in balcony section 18, Row D. I knew based upon night one and the SPAC venue that it had the chance to be a historic night, but it blew any possible expectations I could have had out of the water. I'm not going to analyze song by song performances but rather simply say that tonight made it completely clear to me that the Dave Matthews Band truly loves its fans. A night that will live in infamy for any fan that had the privilege of being there. The performance the band has put on in the last 5 years in my opinion.

Just got back from N2 SPAC, Best show I've ever seen. Granted I've only been to four shows, but my friends who have been to 15+ said the same thing.
Highlights:
Couldn't have asked for a better 8 song opener.
The no snare intro into Ants followed by the snare into the middle of the song was unreal.
Jimi Thing-crowd singing was spine tingling.
#40-full band and reworked for us as dave put it, enough said.
LIOG- saw the reprise in tampa last year, but it was sick getting it in the encore, also like leroi's london bridge interp.
Thank You- dave sang vocals without guitar and danced around stage for what seemed like 3 mins
Shotgun-a few modifications without the piano, but amazing. Dave looked like he was going to cry while singing it(thought maybe had personal references, thought he mentioned 'sister' during it)
A Dream So Real kind of killed the mood, but it seemed everone needed a breather after the ridiculous opening.
Tim was amazing, Leroi was sick.
The band is back. I never saw them so happy.

Without a doubt the best show I have ever seen. There were multiple points throughout the show when I thought Dave was about to end and it couldn't get better. But it kept going. The #40 was unreal, what more could you ask for? This show deserves to go down in the books as one of the finest performances the band has ever done.

Wow. The energy of that show was insane. Dave and the band looked to be having an immense amount of fun up there, and that was well received by the audience. There are too many highlights to get them all, but #40, Shotgun, Dream So Real, Jimi Thing, Anyone Seen the Bridge, the crazy Ants Marching intro, and the So Damn Lucky ending were all definitely great. Dave's commentary to the crowd was priceless, and he kept everyone laughing constant (the fly that flew up his nose, his piano lessons, etc). This must've been one of the top shows that I've ever heard, and definitely the best one that I've ever attended.

What can be said? This show will live on in DMB history. My favorite song of the night was So Damn Lucky, which was my first time seeing live. Dancing Dave during Thank You was beyong incredible, one of the most memorable moments I've seen at any concert, EVER. Jimi Thing was great with the audience solely singing the first two verses...#40? #40!!!! I couldn't believe my ears. It was talked about on these boards after N1, but to be true? Incredible. To me that wasn't a "full" #40, but it WAS full band, and it was amazing. I feel like I missed the first half of the song because I was so shocked, and I was in another world. Tim was great at times, but for most of the show I forgot he was there. I guess I don't listen for that guitar unless it's a solo or something. I did miss Butch. Not his solos so much, but his presence. I don't know, he was in this band for ten years, almost half my life. I want to know what happened there. I wish Carter had a killer solo, but the horns sounded great. I feel like Rashawn gets better every summer, and hits higher notes every summer. I was in a section with a lot of WH people, and a lot of people who seemed to be the original fanbase-30s? It was really great. Amazingly great. I've been back and forth in my mind if this beats N2 in 2006...on paper it should, but for some reason I have trouble saying it. That '06 had everything going for me, and the people around me were incredible. That can really make or break a show-if you're surrounded by good, fun, true fans.

Pink Floyd's Money followed by Money that's what I want was a show stopper. I was thrilled, even though there were a lot of dazed High School Students on the lawn who didn't seem to recognize either of these excellent covers. Sadly, the crowd was fairly rude at this show, which, based on conversations I have had with a lot of fans seems to be a growing trend at shows with lawn seats.

First show. Could not have possibly asked for anything more. Setlist was near perfect and even the new songs were sweet. Timmy and Boyd were on fire the whole night. Money and Thank You (Complete with Dave's dance) were standouts, and #41, Lie In Our Graves, Ants Marching, and Dreaming Tree all had intense jams. The crowd starting too soon on Jimi Thing was funny, and Dave took it well. Also thought it was great how they finished Graves in the encore.
Now I have nothing to compare this to, but I highly doubt it gets much better than this. The crowd was really into it, and the setlist was awesome.

INSTANT CLASSIC! The headline on the front page says it all! No ED or SU songs and the slowest songs all night were A Dream So Real and #40. That's a damn fine show! Strong set top to bottom and I can say something positive about every song from tonight!
#40 was amazing and maybe the best memory I'll have from a DMB show, followed closely by an obscene Jimi Thing, with the several thousand of us singing lead! The encore was very solid and it was great to hear the Graves reprise, too. This NEEDS to be a LiveTrax selection at some point!

For my 10th anniversary show at SPAC DMB busted out the most amazing show I have ever seen! Crowd energy was insane. Band energy was absolutly REDICULOUS!!! If you know anything about the history of DMB and have been to 20+ concerts like I have you know that this show was one of the best of all time. #40, LIOG, Jimi Thing and Thank You were amazing! This may be one of the best tour years since 2000 and Jimi Thing was the highlight of the night. Never before has the crowd sang lead on a song like everyone in the crowd did tonight and it may never happen again. This was my 16th DMB show - I grabbed all my old friends from college piled in a car and headed from NH to NY like we do every summer. This show was so unbelievable! Never have I experienced a DMB show like this before. The setlist was not only amazing, but I think what made it so great was the energy between the crowd and the band. The show was over two weeks ago and I'm still walking around on a DMB High.... This show has only made me and my best friend a bigger DMB fan, which we never thought would be possible.
