The stone was great. I'm not a big fan of 'proudest monkey' or 'out of my hands'. The stones cover was great. I complain about hearing 'everyday' and 'ants marching' yet i'm always singing them when its live. Not a bad show.

I called The Stone opener in the parking lot hanging with Luke. Bad rain and thunderstorms before the set gave way to a cool evening and beautiful sunset. A solid set by the band. Nice cover of Bitch and Cornbread rocked tonight. Always good to hear Dreaming Tree and it's a solid staple on the tour this year.

Given that it was a Tuesday Night and after what transpired at SPAC on Saturday, I expected there to be a let down. But, I think they carried over the "energy" and put on a great first night show. I am a little upset that I am not going tonight, because I think it has the makings to be a special show. Clearly the band has renewed vigor.

Can't complain with this show. You Might Die Trying, Crush , Everyday, and Eh Hee were tremendous. I also liked how the whole night it seemed Boyd was bottled up and then they let him loose on us during Ants and Tripping Billies.

That said if DMB had a suggestion box, where I could offer up ways to improve the experience, I would have recommended they replace Bitch with #41 and naturally lead that into Everyday. And/Or Tease us with Gravedigger then pull out R&R (which they have brought back and I was really looking forward to) or one of the 2004 castaways (Crazy Easy, Joy Ride, Sugar Will). If they had done both, not that this would be SPAC N2 level, but it certainly would have been a top show during the tour, right?

Awesome Show!! I love the Rapunzel ending which sprouted for a nice beginning to Ants Marching to close the show before the encore. Cornbread was amazing as was Dave's Solo on Out of My Hands!!

Had a great time, and always love to see them, but they played 10 of 17 songs from the setlist in Hartford on the 13th, so was a little disappointed. Not their fault obviously!

i'm never going to complain about the opportunity to be at a DMB show, but certainly after being at Saturday night's SPAC show this one was definitely on the more mellow side. to the band credit, they busted out some sweet james at the end of Crush and Out of my Hands that nobody expected and got people excited. But everytime they had a chance to capitalize on that energy and momentum, they slowed it down again. the setlist was watch you would expect a typical night 1 to look like, and while i always have a good time at a show, this was definitely one of the less memorable.. only more reason to expect big things from tonight though!

I went into this show thinking that it could be a let down based on the SPAC setlist. Then they Opened with Stone and I thought, maybe, just maybe this could be great. Then, Old Dirt Hill????? It was hard to get back after that... few good songs in the middle and Tim was the shit! But, then comes the end - for the (what seems like) hundredth freakin time - Tripping Billies - I know it's somewhat of a fan fav, but I absolutely cringe everytime I hear it. I think the boys need to do a little research of the shows they've played in the Boston area... the sets seem to be very similar year after year and to end with billies again, c'mon. Crap.

Crush was amazing especially since Dave did his jam version. Everyday and Ants are classics of course. FINALLY got to see GRAVEDIGGER!!! Huge Highlight of the night. That was my 12th concert and the first time I have seen it. Tonights show should be even better.

Not as dissapointing as I was afraid tonight might be considering the SPAC setlist 2 nights before and it being night #1. The band had great energy and the Mansfield crowd was energetic as always.

Personal highlights were Crush and Everyday, and seeing my first Stone. Boyd was great on Ants and Billies after seeming to hold back the whole show.

The best part was how good Tim sounded tonight. Seeing him in CT for night #2, he played great but seemed almost out of place with the band. Tonight, however, he blended far better with the band and was amazing.

Can't wait for night #2.

Opening a show with The Stone is always a great start. Other highlights included Dreaming Tree, Grey St, Gravedigger. Curfew forced them to cut it short as we missed Pay For What You Get, #41, and The Idea of You. If they played those tunes, this would've been a 5. Second show ever for me and went with my sister Jess!

What an awesome show! Definitely the best night 1 show Ive ever seen. Sooooo Jammy. Band and the crowd had crazy energy the whole night. The Stone opener, Billies closer, dreaming tree, eh hee, and the jam at the end of crush with Tim and Leroi goin back and forth... wow.

Gonna be great tonight

Excellent show. The setlist was just ok but the bands energy and "so damn lucky" and "dreaming tree" made up for it all. The addition of Timmy was the perfect compliment to the band. Going to see DMB never gets old and there is no experience like it.

YMDT and Crush were defintly the best songs of the night. I had never heard Gravedigger and Eh Hee full band so at first I was disappointed but a few minutes later, my face melted off. Great all around show although I though the placement of Proudest Monkey wasn't very good seeing as how it was right after a song like YMDT which was insane!

Crush, You Might Die Trying, and Rapunzel were great, and of course Ants was fun as always. For the first 5 songs or so though the crowd was the most obnoxious I've ever seen them. They would not shut up and the large majority of them werent even facing the stage they were just in large groups talking and making sure every photo they tok was myspace appropriate (meaning they had to make sure that their red cup of beer and blunts were in the photo). I get very annoyed by people that only go to dave shows to drink and get high. I mean its fine to do all that but people, listen to the show please.

beside that it was overall a good show. Dave hit some super high notes all throughout and Tim Sore it up as usual. Once again we got screwed by the mansfield 11 o'clock curfue. If you are in the RI area Hartford is the way to go for a dave show.

Not the greatest seats -- on the far left, so I couldn't see Boyd or Timmy unless they came up. But man, what energy. I thought I'd seen the best I could see from DMB -- I was wrong.

Incredible fun, terrific show, and I'm going to go find some seats to another show soon!
