Could of used a song that wasn't so "poppy". Ants Marching ruined the show because it is to cliché. Most the songs were radio played DMB songs. The only fan favorite/ none radio played song was bartender and you might die trying.

This is my second of six shows to attend on this tour and my 20th overall, maybe i am just getting spoiled on shows ive seen but this was not the best Dave show i have seen. The first half of the show was awesome and i loved hearing granny and Old Dirt Hill(awesome version), but to me the Encore was Dreadfull. I will never get over the way dave was dancing on Cornbread Though!!

My 5th show this summer. Went with my friend Brannon. Thought the band had great energy tonight. The setlist was ok for the tour's standards. Thought we might get Sugar Will since they had sound checked it several times in the last couple of weeks, but no dice. They would play it at the next show in Tampa. Too bad I missed that one. Still loving Sledgehammer!

started off a bit slow, which was a pleasant change of pace from most other shows I've been to (I've been dying to hear Bartender and Seek Up live tho), but they quickly picked up the pace with a great setlist. Money and Sledgehammer were great covers and they gave in to the chorus of #36 after Everyday. I was VERY disappointed and disgusted when the crowd completely shut down for a laid back version of Old Dirt Hill. People sat down, people left to go pee or get drinks and everyone started talking and ignoring the show - all at the same time. Me and my friends were the only ones left standing in our section for that song. I don't give a fuck who you are or what concert you're at, you do not disrespect a band like that. And it sucks bc you could tell the band noticed when they wrapped up that song and rocked on to the next as fast as they could. The energy picked up tho and every song that they were given the chance to jam on, they gave that jam 110%!!! I'm not sure if I've danced so hard at a show! Very cool when Dave had us chant "LeRoi Moore" for a video feed being sent to him in the hospital. But like I said, it was a bit slow to start and pick up the pace but when they were on and rockin, they were ON AND ROCKIN. Easily one of the best DMB shows I've seen. But I'm seeing them again Friday and Saturday in WPB, FL, so we'll just have to see how those shows stack up!

Great show and energy. First time seeing Tim and all I can say is wow! He and Jeff really tore it up on Jimi. I loved the Bartender opener and the encore was good for my friends that don't know a whole lot of songs. This run made the show for me: Granny, Jimi Thing, Seek Up.

Really more of a 3 1/2.....the crowd was unusually not into the show. The band was though, and I recorded my fastest exit from the moment the show ended, running through the crowd to car, avoided all traffic and was on I-85 heading back home, all in record time.

First of all, the Atlanta fans are a carbon copy of the way Charlotte fans acted this year. All of you getting down on Atlanta fans, you need a quick reality check. Not everybody is in the same place with the music as you are. And the drunken idiots are everywhere, not just Atlanta. Perhaps this is because of where the band started playing in the South: FRAT HOUSES. So please, get over yourself and forget who sits and stands when- just have a great time!

This was my second show this year and my 20th all time!

Bartender opening was perfect the way it builds up. So Damn Lucky was a nice treat: new for me. I could go without Everyday for a few years. Granny was full of energy and a great spot between Everyday and Jimi Thing. Jimi Thing simply rocked!! Seek Up was a nice song to hear after Jimi. I'd never heard it before and it was just as magical for me as I could have hoped for. The magic died for me with Old Dirt Hill. This song is ok. But definitely a restroom break. I just dont like this song really. Not a big fan of anything from Stand Up. Cornbread was nice. You Might Die Trying is growing on me with the jam at the end. Sledgehammer is decent, though many other songs/covers would have been better. Out of My Hands was very slow and just a decent song altogether. Eh Hee is still one of my favorite "new" songs- there's so much energy in it with it's trippiness. Money was awesome- love the jam! SMTS-ASTB-TM: very tired of this. I think they've played it at every show I've been to since 2004. Tripping Billies was great to close the set. Dave mentioned a little boy who has been through a lot wanting him to play Crash- seemed very special. I could go 10 years without ever hearing Ants Marching again, but was an average close to a pretty good show. Overall this show, for me, was very special because I was in the first five rows right in front of Boyd. So I was into it the entire time. I'd never been so close before. Oh well, it was amazing!

It was a pretty good show. The energy and the feeling of each song was there, I just wish the set had been a little better. But, I did take a friend who had never been to a Dave show before and I was hoping that he wouldn't be disappointed and he left saying that not only did he love the energy of the show but that he also didn't hear one song that he didn't like. So, I'm just glad that he ended up liking the show really. Still doesn't beat Piedmont last year though.

This show was inherently great because it was DMB...however the crowd was terrible and the song selection was ok. I love seeing these guys with Tim & Jeff however...it certainly added a unique sound to the songs that I love.

I just wish they wouldn't have done all of their pop songs and that they would've done more obscure songs and jams.

Get well soon LeRoi!

Outstandng show by Dave and the band. If you see the 12 string on stage off the bat you can expect Bartender! Too Much and Billies were mind blowing crazy! Atlanta is one of THE places to see DMB - crowd was freaking nuts.

I'm a newer DMB fan (2 years) than most but I've noticed this. DMB fans can sound so miserable after a show! Out of a catalog that's easily 200 songs deep you expect Dave to read your mind and play exactly what you like to hear. GIVE ME A BREAK! I've seen two shows with diverse sets and could never walk away disappointed. Sure, you wanted Halloween, Last Stop and Song That Jane Likes, but you didn't get it. Get over it! Every show has its highlights and its flow. I think sometimes a little perspective is needed.

Can't believe the rating on this show is below a 4! I thought this was a great show. You can't beat that opening...Bartender, So Damn Lucky, Everday, Granny, Jimi Thing, Seek Up...and if you want to take it farther... Old Dirt Hill, Cornbread, You Might Die Trying. Yeah, Dave's voice wasn't @ its strongest, but I've heard it worse. Thought this was a great show with the execption of Ants at the end, I would've liked to have heard something else as Ants had closed the show in Piedmont the summer before. It was really nice to get Crash in the encore with it though.

Yeah the show was good for the most-part, the only thing was, there were really no surprises. Everything had been played either one or two shows before this one. I was hoping for the stone to open, but we got a good bartender instead, so that wasn't bad! I thought SMTS->TM was gonna be it, but then they started into Billies, which I thought was the highlight of the night, myself. Of course the Granny-Jimi-Seek Up run wasn't bad! We got shorted a nancies for the second year in a row, and Rapunzel wasn't played in the encore. But overall it's still DMB, so I love 'em.

PS- I think my drunk ass friend I had to babysit made it a little worse as well!

Bartender opening was sweet I enjoy the slow openers such as seek up. Saw the Charleston show on the 4th and similar sets but granny, jimi thing, out of my hands, and money were awesome additions. First jimi thing for me in 4 shows and I loved every second of it. I enjoyed the encore although very mainstream song choices but crowd favorites as usual. Bayou would have got me going but ive heard it 3 of 4 so i could live without it the SMTS>ASTB>TM is still the best part of every show ive seen for sure the crowd loves it. Overall a very good show i would probably say about equal to Charleston although the crowd here was much better and I really enjoyed the out of my hands midset song. Still can't compare to piedmont last year for me but all in all a very enjoyable show. Can't wait til next year.

First six were killer. I absolutely loved hearing seek up, bartender, granny (thought it seemed a little downplayed) and everyday into 36. It's true that the show lessened in intensity after old dirt hill, but only because the atlanta crowd finally started passing out from fucking themselves up too much. As for as covers go, i'm much more partial to sledgehammer then money, although both were played well. Tim added some great jams and added a great new aspect to the show. One of the best parts was still yelling WE WANT ROI! My mom had the same injury and I know hes in a great deal of discomfort right now. I loved seeing Dave on piano for Out of My Hands, and it was great how he related the song to Roi's Injury. The encore was nothing too special, though Crash was good since I was with my ex, and Ants is still a satisfying last song. Overall it was a good enjoyable concert for me, yet i have an extremely sour taste in my mouth from the so called "fans." I smoked and drank some before the concert, but only to have a good time with my friends before the show. Dmb unfortunately has become an excuse to get extremely wasted for too many, especially in Atlanta, certainly after the precedent of Piedmont (still the Best Concert Ever) (moving to Vermont next year for college though and very rarely coming back south). Personally I would strongly advocate the band go on a tour of smaller indoor facilities (such as the fox in Atlanta, or radiocity) so that those who go are likely to be genuine DMB fans, and not those hedonists just looking for an excuse to forget what should be a memorable summer night. But it was for me, and I still cant wait for my next.

Why couldn't they play Sugar Will or Shotgun, too bad they only got sound checked.

I had a blast as usual. Bartender again for me for the first time since 02 was nice and getting another seek up was even better. Heard several Stand Up songs for the first time which was nice. SDL was off the chain! Only disappointment was finding out AGAIN they cut nancies from the show and ended with ants instead of Rapunzel. I have heard ants at all six of my shows, its fun though and i think the band still enjoys playing it. See you next year!

My first show.

-Bartender: great opener. He kept you guessing for the first 2 minutes or so then just went straight into it.

-So Damn Lucky: very different sound with the full band but I seriously enjoyed it.

-Everyday: freaking awesome. The crowd starting the #36 intro was fantastic.

-Granny: great song but I had a hard time getting all the lyrics out because I'd already lost my voice.

-Jimi Thing: I'm pretty sure that's enough said.

-Seek Up: made 20 minutes feel like a blink. Great song, great lyrics, great idea.

-Old Dirt Hill: could've been better with some type of jam. I'm not a huge fan of Stand Up however.

-Corn Bread:incredible. I love the song, I love the dance. Amazing with Timmy.

-You Might Die Trying: has a lot of special meaning to me. When I heard the opening chord, I lost it. Once again, amazing with Timmy ripping it.

-Sledgehammer: fantastic. Need to refresh myself on lyrics but great participation.

-Out of My Hands: too quiet for me to even hear.

-Eh Hee: nasty. I love the energy Dave exerts during this song and his change of style.

-Money: a crowd pleaser. Could really feel the energy.

-So Much to Say: first time I've heard the trio. Loved it though!

-Anyone Seen the Bridge: freaking loved the freezing. Good jam to recollect yourself.

-Too Much: my favorite one I've ever heard. Maybe because it was my first but I absolutely love the song.

-Tripping Billies: another song with special meaning. Extreme jamming insued and I lost it.

-Crash Into Me: not a fan of this song. To hear it live ONCE will be sufficient for me.

-Ants Marching: great jam to end it on. I'm glad I've heard it but it falls in the same group as Crash Into Me.

Overall, I loved the set. I would've killed to hear Lie in Our Graves, Pantala Naga Pampa/Rapunzel or Sister. I really enjoyed myself and will be at many more.

Very impressive start, good song selection, songs I haven't heard in a while. It slowed down towards the middle but what can you expect... after all it was in "HOT"lanta (sorry, i know that's lame but it was HOT as hell)... Coffin, Rashawn and Tim added a super special touch to the entire set; I loved the dueling horns. I didn't care too much for Sledgehammer but I loved the cover of money. I always love the SMTS>ASTB>TM trio but I really could have done without hearing Ants for the 80 millionth time, especially as the final song. I seem to recall them ending the Piedmont park show with the exact same song. BORING!!! Actually compared to the Piedmont park show this one had several similarities: Corn Bread, You Might Die Trying, Eh Hee, SMTS,ASTB,TM, and of course ending with Ants. Don't get me wrong, I love all of these songs but I was just hoping for a little more variety. Blame it on curfew, blame it on Coffin not knowing all the songs, blame it on whatever, I just think this show started great but ended on a very disappointing note. It was a good show overall but probably the worst out of all that i've been to. (only 12 total but still.....)

Bought my tickets the day of the show from Ebay, so I was just happy to be there. We missed Gomez because of traffic, so I was bummed about that. Also, this was the first time I had seats for a Dave show and now I will never go back to the lawn. I so enjoyed not having people pass in front of me the whole concert. Also, it is easier to hear/concentrate on the show if you are in the seated sections. On to the show:

Bartender-Sounded like DDTW at first but they broke into Bartender! I had never heard this live before so I was really excited. Very good version and Coffin was great on the penny-whistle.

SDL-Was really hoping to hear this song. It was one of my favorites on Some Devil, and it is way better with the full band.

Everyday-This one is fun to sing to, but it's nothing super special. If I am going to hear, I would rather get it out of the way early in the set. It was played well and we got to sing the #36 part for a while which was cool.

Granny- Good version. One of my favorite songs.

Jimi- Awesome to hear so early in the show. Really good version with Jeff & Tim showing off some.

Seek Up- There are few songs I like more than Seek Up! I was so pumped to hear this one. At this point in the show, I thought they might have picked every song I would want to hear. They were 5 for 6 so far in my opinion. Great start...

ODH- Wasn't really excited when Dave started this one, but I liked this version. It was kind of different (maybe more mellow or something) and the outro is really cool. Turns out I really enjoyed this one

Cornbread- What a fun song! Tim's part playing with the melody up the fret board was a cool touch. You can tell the band really likes this song a lot.

YMDT- Wow! Talk about a song that is way better live than it's studio version...I even thought it wasn't too bad of a song on the SU album. I thought Piedmont's version last year was good, but this was better than that. Really great song!

Sledgehammer- I actually didn't know this song, but I had read how they were covering some song called "Sledgehammer" and I assumed this was it when they started. I really liked it.

Out of my Hands- Very pretty song. Cool to see Dave on piano. With Dave, Carter, Tim and Stefan playing it wasn't boring or whatever. I enjoyed this. Much better option for a breather than WAYG.

Eh Hee- Another cool song. Plus...Dave played this on acoustic instead of electric like he did last summer.

Money- Cool song and they do a fine job covering it, but I would rather have had a Crush, #41, Nancies or Warehouse here. In fact...Nancies was on the setlist and they didn't play it. Oh well

SMTS>ASTB>TM- I wish this would go away...or they would go back to the '03 tour and go SMTS>ASTB>some random song like WWYS or something. I guess I have just heard this one a lot in the 6 shows I have been to. It was enjoyable none-the-less.

Tripping Billies- When I heard Dave start the Nature intro (like Luther College) I was probably more happy that TM didn't end the set than I was about TB. Obviously this was really good. Hadn't heard this since '04.

Crash- I really like this song and it was cool to hear the story about the boy Dave met who requested it. I have to be honest, I was hoping the boy requested some rare/random song and Dave was going to play it for his new friend (like Last Stop or Pig or Spoon or something :) but Crash is always good. Plus, I've never heard it as an E1 before and I think it is a good spot.

Ants-Some call it cliche, but it is their staple song. Always fun. I did see where Rapunzel was in the original encore and that would have been sweet.

Overall, good show. 4 stars. Probably not as good as Piedmont last September...but a really good time. Can't wait til next year.

Songs still waiting for live: #41, LIOG, Pig, Last Stop

This was the second show I saw in a week. I was at Charlotte (Awesome show, especially when they opened with THE STONE). However, after seeing the setlist, I wish I followed Charlotte with Raleigh. I can't get enough 41. I should be going to Memphis. I can't comment, b/c I was at Piedmont last year, and for me, that is the best I've seen yet. As usual, I had a good, good time. I was on another planet. I can't get enought of Die Tryin'. There's no room for complaints on this tour. Tim Reynolds is on tour, so I'm going to see them as many times as possible this year. Probably one more, (Memphis) or two (Louisville, if i can get tix). Thanks DMB,for another great night!!!! :)

Great show! Loved the Granny>Jimi Thing>Seek Up old school session. Reminds me of the 1998 Lakewood show where they opened with Seek Up>Jimi Thing that lasted about ~45 minutes. Tim was there then as well. Sledgehammer and Money were great covers. I love the covers! Although I would have liked to have see Thank You for the funky Dave dancing although we did get some in Cornbread.
