I lost myself during Crush and especially during Dreaming Tree. I loved the ASTB going into LIOG, thought it would be something that I would never get to see. Typical was amazing, as always a pleasure to hear. the new songs were good too. loved the show. makes you crave more. kills me to see #41 and Halloween on the setlist and not get played.... but i guess thats the whole reason I go to so many shows, because you can never get it all in just one show. And you wanna be there when the most amazing setlists are played.

First DMB show in 9 years (don't know where i was these past 9 yrs) and it was awesome. Tickets were given to me by a freind who won them off the raido, so a total chance happening. It was great, gave me the Live bug again. I had only listened to BWATGGK a few times and this show made me love the songs, which happens most of the time at a DMB show. And Seven is a great song! Loved Typical Situation, one of my favs. Never expected Best of Whats Around, but love it. Wish it would have rained on us, it was so hot and only a few drops fell.

By far the closest I've ever been at a Dave show....It was 90 degrees and humid, dave was sweating like crazy..I could tell R.R. wasn't feeling the heat. I heard dreaming tree for the first time, the show was sick!!!

The show was amazing as usual. Caught off guard by Best of What's Around but im not complaining. I was disappointed when i saw that they dropped 3 songs from the set: Halloween, Rhyme & Reason, and of course #41, the song i've been waiting 5 years and 8 shows to hear. Overall great concert with a perfect mix of new songs and classics.

Unreal show with more energy than I have seen the boys play with in a long long time. It reminded me of the days seeing them play in 98, 99, 2000. A good mix of old and new stuff(which for the first time in 10 years is good).

The heat and heavy humidity were washed away as the curtain lit up with the first few beats of PNP/Rapunzel...

This show was fantastic, the new songs played live had a whole new life of their own and some will surely find a permanent home in future DMB shows. Seven, Dive In and Shake Me Like A Monkey were of particular interest as standouts. Dave's mention of Roi prior to "Why I Am" gave the song even more meaning for the masses as to the tragic passing of the beloved saxophonist. Time Bomb reflected Dave's "over the limit" push on his vocal cords that caused an exuberant feeling to wash over the crowd unlike any song I have seen played live yet. (At least until Watchtower at the end of the set)

Dave's dedication of ASTB>Too Much>Lie In Our Graves to a fan no longer with us was heartfelt and turned out to be a beautiful version of LIOG. Best Of What’s Around was a welcomed treat along with Typical Situation and The Dreaming Tree which were also nice surprises that were well played and felt at home on this warm muggy evening. Stefan's Bass-punishing opening to Crush and his play throughout were simply amazing seriously showcasing his abilities. Grey Street brought "bounce" back to the crowd after the end of The Dreaming Tree and played well into Dive In.

The Encore of the 40 tease (partial/verse) and newcomer You And Me slowed the tempo but lead into the haunting early chords of Watchtower. Even after nearly 2 hours of playing under the lights, "I will sweat so much tonight that it may be be difficult to watch" as Dave so eloquently put it, they pulled one last adrenaline laced performance out of their bag of tricks. With Dave and Tim forcefully shredding their guitars, Carter - playing the 4 armed ninja drummer that he is - and the rest of the boys playing their hearts out, the crowd was pitched into a frenzy amid the cacophony of Watchtower skillfully interpolated with a Stairway to Heaven chorus and brought to such a crescendo that the electricity was felt crackling through the warm evening air even after the final thank you.

Carter, being the last to leave the stage like normal, exemplifies the heart of the band by staying out and tossing his revered drumsticks to the crowd and even handing a pair to a young boy he summoned to the front of the stage.

Overall, the show was amazing. The energy was unmistakable. The set list was satisfying and even the heat was forgotten as the "Boys of Summer" (sorry MLB) showed me that another DMB "show" isn't just that - it's another DMB "experience". 2 thankful thumbs up to another great DMB performance which of course I hope to see many more! Thanks to the band for such a great evening!

Great show! Halloween would have made my summer, but Watchtower with the Stairway interpolation was incredible! Busch Stadium last year was indescribable, but this show came close. The venue smelled like shit though...

Easily one of the best shows I have been to. The band was feeling it tonight. Too bad they skipped #41, Halloween, and R&R but still great. I think Jake should write an article about this show since it was equally if not better than SPAC n2. An another thing, that was not a #40 tease, it was definitely partial.

Solid show! Watchtower ---> Stairway was fucking awesome!!!! My highlights....Lie in our Graves, Dreaming Tree, The Best of Whats around was awesome and the first time this tour!, and #40 of course and Shotgun tease! Typical Situation was different and I think I am kinda digging that arrangement! Out of the newer songs, I enjoyed Seven, You & Me, and Why I am the best...Good show! See ya'll at Alpine!

The set was on fire, some really awesome songs! I really dug Why I Am and loved You and Me. All Along the Watchtower with a lil bit of Zeppelin...unbelievable! The crowd wasn't as into the show but that could have been because it was so damn hot.

It was the first incredibly hot day of the summer, so the crowd was a little subdued. However, some of the extended Jams that highlighted Jeff got everyone going pretty crazy. It was also great to see Tim. I couldn't believe they played Dreaming Tree, which I hadn't ever heard in concert. They played some of my favorite songs from Big Whiskey, so it was a great show. The Too Much tease was also pretty awesome.

Overall a solid show. Highlights were Dreaming Tree, Dive In, and Time Bomb (and of course #40). I enjoyed the jam they are putting together at the end of Dive In. Squirm and Why I Am are solid live tunes. SMLAM live is definately the weakest of the new tunes, which I didn't expect. Would have liked a chance to hear LITHOG. Typical Situations was butchered. I didn't care for the arrangement at all. Shotgun tease really got our hopes up. Hopefully that is a sign of things to come. First time I heard the Stairway interpolation in All Along The Watchtower. I enjoyed it and the crowd was really into that part. Overall, no suprises other than #40 and the Shotgun tease but another solid DMB show. Looking forward to Noblesville N1 and N2. Peace.
Just noticed on DMB Almanac they have the setlist scan for this show, #41, Rhyme or Reason, and Halloween were on the setlist originally. Really bummed they axed Halloween.

What a great show. This was my third time in St. Louis; each time the band has not disappointed. I knew the night was going to be fun when the people on the lawn started singing along to Shake Me Like A Monkey. How refreshing to be at shows where everybody is excited about the new music... not just the band! I thought Dave's voice sounded greaton everything, including #40, which I had never heard so "complete" in person. The rain held off... security seemed more relaxed than normal, and everybody was in a happy spirit. I'll be back to St. Louis again.

Great show. More energy than they've had in the past 4-5 years IMHO. The new stuff played great live...Why I Am is tremendous live, as I had hoped. I can't wait until they stretch it out a bit...TOO SHORT. Lie in Our Graves, Grey Street, and Watchtower made the show for me.

I enjoyed this show, but was hoping for more songs from his old stuff. I guess it was appropriate for him to play a ton from Big Whiskey considering it was the album tour, but for the record, I loved the Too Much fake into Lie In Our Graves and also Best of Whats Around. Good show, but could\'ve asked for a better encore...

Pantala Naga Pampa/ Rapunzel/ Shake Me Like a Monkey brought plenty of energy out of the gate. The new album was well represented. Lie in our Graves was a show stopper. Best of What's Around was a perfect surprise. I love that song! I thought the roof was going to fly off when the band killed it on Why I Am. That song is awesome live. I miss Roi. I was disappointed that Halloween was played the previous two shows and the show after STL. Watchtower/ Stairway left me wanting much more. Great show. Great energy. Great crowd. I was very pleased, but nothing could top the '08 show at Busch Stadium.

Great Show and in my opinion just alittle better than the Busch Stadium show. BOWA, LIAG, Watchtower, and PNP/Rapunzel were great. All the new tunes sounded awesome. Was surprised by Dive In which had a beautiful outro that I wish would of made it on the studio. The Shotgun tease broke my heart but maybe ill see it live one day. Great show and hopefully next year I will finally get to see #41 live. Also no Stand Up or Everday on the setlist, now that is beatiful!

Sitting in row G I expected to deal with less idiots who were just there for the party and didn't care about the music. I was disappointed with the crowd that was in front of me, took away from the show a bit. No real down moments in this set. I love the dueling in Crush, BT killed LIOG, and the new tunes were solid. Loved the encore, and I loved the fact that DMB played a solid show that didn't depend upon Ants, #41, or Two Step as it's anchor. Was really pulling for the 3rd straight show w/ a Halloween, but I was not disappointed with this set at all.

The best live of the new songs were Dive In & Squirm. You & Me & Seven were very good too. Disappointed that Shotgun wasn't played and that #41, R&R, & Halloween were on the setlist but not played. BOWA made my night, so it was fine.
