So after a short introduction by Dave talking about that he forgot is German speaking voice at home and therefore he would only talk in English they started the set with "Bartender".

Dave's voice was really struggling to hit the notes and it was all sung really soft, no belting unfortunately.
Tim played a wicked solo at the end and then Dave made him stop which was funny.

After that came the first Big Whiskey Song with "you and me" and it was really great. Damn what can I say Tim improvised superbly.
Other than that the structure was just like on the record.

"Graveddigger" was next and Dave was talking to the 6 old son and his dad who were sitting right in front of them to introduce the song.
well and the boy seemed a little scared not understanding English, all in all quite a funny scene but not the highlight.

Than came "Funny the way it is" and Dave was really nervous about it, but they played it nicely even thougu Dave couldnt hit the high notes at times. Tim played the Dave guitar-solo just like on the record but then went of crazy using his pedal.
oh yeah dave messed up some of the lyrics even though he had lyrics sheets lying right in front of him. Well he was warning about it beforehand though.

Then came the Highlight of the Show for sure.
First of Dave had a funny talk that when he becomes nervous he has to talk talk talk and then compared this to a chicken whose head is chopped off but still runs around (but instead of running around he keeps talking and talking) it was really hilarious.
Well, and then followed "lying in the hands of God" and it was just so good. unbelivable.
Tim played like a crazy man on intro and outro and pretty much all through the song. and Dave just nailed it.
How intense is this song.
Works great as an acoustic version, pure badass!!!!

after that came "so damn lucky" and so I felt, too.
Dave had lots of trouble hitting the high notes, but it's just a great tune.

Then as a closer they played "Dancing Nancies" with the "could I have been parking lot... intro" and another crazy solo by tim at the end.

Well I am really in awe.
what a intimite show and Dave is just such a nice guy. I had a quick chat with him and got an autograph for my beloved. well and after shake hands I made my way home.
