This is my 8th show and not one of the greatest, but very good. Big Eyed Fish -> Bartender was a highlight, as well as #41. It was an odd selection of songs I thought. The entire band looked to be having a great time. Jeff and TR were superb. Jeff is a wonderful woodwind player. Someone else said they saw him playing two saxes at once. I saw the same thing and had to say wow, as a sax player myself, that impressed me.

#41, So Damn Lucky, and Jimi Thing were highlights. Shake Me Like a Monkey wasn't a good closer but Two Step got cut.

Being my third show ever, I loved this show because I still heard quite a few that I have never heard live. #41 and Hello Again were monsters!

3 stars for carter, jeff, and tim. -2 for venue and setlist (dave's robbing us from jems left and right people. WAKE UP!!!) enough plugging of big whiskey, this might as well be 2009 all over again, wheres minarets? typical? seek up? one sweet world? wtf dave?? pick up 1 of the 50+ live release and listen to yourself and the crowd reaction to your song selection. and rye whiskey needs to be a mid set pee break song, if not done with all together. not a f"ing encore. btw worst venue i've been to of the 36 shows ive seen. security were assholes, got a ticket in the parking lot while the other 22,000 people there continued to drink while the cops just watched. even teenaged girls drinking while driving past us, and they did nothing. maryland heights police are a bunch of cock gobblers.

on a lighter note tho, went to bonnaroo and cincy, but this show (st. louis), was by far the best energy from the band yet, and lots of smiles from the band towards the crowd

shows # 37 and # 38 @ deer creek. my only request if anyone from DMB, RCA, BAMA.... whoever it needs to get to: BEFORE THESE CROWDED STREETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! particularly last stop.

My 6th Dave show... Opening with Squirm bored me, I'm no Big Eyed Fish fan but the lead into my first Bartender was amazing.

The set list was - lacking - IMO. I saw the boys twice last year and I've seen enough of Big Whiskey to last me a while...

The energy was good, the crowd was active, but, the curfew in St Louis SUCKS!!!! I've lived here my whole life though so I'm used to it. The encore was disappointing - Rye Whiskey should not be in the encore and it's a shame to see Two Step was cut.

Overall I love the band and am happy to have been there, just selfish and wanted a better show since the boys of summer are on hiatus next year..

*sigh* I spose I can go always go to Wrigley.

The pit was packed in St. Louis. Way more packed than Hartford or SPAC. The band displayed a lot of energy on stage tonight, but the set seemed a bit short to me. Closing with SMLAM is a little weak sauce IMO, but I have never had a bad time at a show!!

I would have preferred 2-3 more songs as opposed to some of the super-extended jams. I love TR and JC, but I don't need to hear the same kind of guitar solo and the same kind of sax solo 5 times in one show. Still a great time -- loved hearing #41 again. I could have done without the song from Danny Barnes. Dave's solo in the encore was awesome.

My 25th show overall and first in Maryland Heights. A unique day for me as I got to meet Boyd and Timmy outside their hotel before the show. They were both very pleasant and took time for photos and autographs.

The show, as usual, exceeded my expectations. I got my first Big Eyed Fish and Cry Freedom. Cry Freedom was just...special. Quieter than I expected, but just so smooth. Hello Again had a very 'Two Step' like jam in it and just rocked hard. The Billies jam was incredible as well - I had never seen Boyd and Dave circle around each other...all the way around before. SDL late in the set was a nice surprise as well, I thought it was going to be the closer.

Solid show again. I have never seen a band that is just 'ON' all the time. Maybe I get lucky and go to the right shows. I am not sure, but this is the best.

Had 2 first timers with me and always curious as to their feedback, as it only took me one live show to get HOOKED. One of them commented afterwards that he felt it was a group of 7 guys jamming out all night, having fun, and we were just fortunate enough to sit in and witness them. Pretty cool.

The boys have been bringing some energy to
St. Louis the past couple of years, and tonight was no different. While the set-list was interesting...and sorta all over the place. The energy that they put into the songs was amazing...especially So Damn Lucky. Its was a great night alot of songs I heard in a while and no songs I've heard to much.

I absolutely loved this show! My first Big Eyed Fish into Bartender (I'm sure ill hear many more) a #41, Hello Again, Nancies, Cry Freedom, and Jimi. We were supposed to get a Two Step encore but of course, VZW makes up stop at 11... Still loved the show!

It was a pretty good second show; I loved that version of Hello Again so much! I felt a little unsatisfied with the show length and that they chose Shake Me Like a Monkey as the closer....

Very hot, very weak setlist in my mind. Why I am, 41, Jimi Thing, and Cry Freedom were sweet. First time I have seen Big Eyed Fish...pretty cool. They still played over 2 and half hours. I give it a C.

Energy wise, this show was a bit of a let down from last year. The setlist was... interesting. The main set was nice, in the sense that there was an absence of "hits". However, it was a very low energy set. The encore was disappointing, I don't care for Rye Whiskey and while Monkey is a favorite of mine, they played a very routine version of it. Things I liked: #41 is always a favorite and the jam between Carter and Jeff was just sick, So Damn Lucky was given a nice full band treatment, and Big Eyed Fish -> Bartender was great too.

Overall, good setlist for a DMB nerd, disappointing if you were there to hear Crash.

Also, I think this may be my last show on the lawn. I cannot abide the drunken idiots any more. After getting hit or kicked by some jackass 7 times, I confronted him about it only to get his friend screaming in my face. Seats or no DMB for me from now on.

Big Eyed Fish >> Bartender was a highlight! #41 was great and had a beautiful jam. Dancing Nancies and Cry Freedom were great, especially after Road, a song I never need to hear again. I definitely enjoyed Jimi Thing with the Sexy Motherfucker outro. Rye Whiskey was unexpected, but welcome in the E1 slot. SMLAM was a disappointment though. It gets 4 stars because it was only my 2nd show and I got to hear some new songs!

Hello Again was great. 41 had some killer jams. I was very happy to hear Cry Freedom and Jimi Thing. However, the encore SUCKED. Rye Whiskey was good, but a quick version of SMLAM and it's over. St Louis has a 11pm curfew so we end up getting the condensed campbell's soup version. Because of that, this will not rank amongst my top shows.

Solid 3 stars. . . . . My 8th show, not the best by far, and not the worst by far. . .
I thought the energy was there, but the setlist was just odd to me. . . .
Good times though, had some A-Holes in front of us, but that's par for the course when your on the lawn.
