A Show of Epic Proportions. The lawn cleared out, we lost our huge group of friends, some stayed in the bathrooms while I searched for a friends missing purse.... The show begins around 10, and by 1030 the venue was FULL again. I couldnt believe how many people stayed. Goes to show you the loyalty of this fan base.

As for the concert. DMB put on one hell of a show. They fed energy into the crowd rather then feeding off the crowds energy. People were dancing their asses off and the set was SICK...

Thank you DMB for making my 30th show memorable.. and thank you Verizon Music Center for allowing the show to go on till 1 in the morning!

It rained. Dave was delayed an hour and by the time he came on we were soaked and it was FREEZING! Stayed for most of the show, but wanted to save our energy for the 2nd night. Was pretty cool though, once Dave started to play the lightning was in sync with the music. Pretty sweet effect by mother nature!

The show was delayed several hours due to heavy rain, but my friends and I stayed out during the entire storm (we were in the lawn, so much mud). Dave's crew was able to bypass the town's noice law and they played a full set starting at around 10pm. He opened with JTR, which was perfect because of the circumstances ("rain down on me"). Gravedigger also fit the situation well. There was lightning throughout most of the show, which made for a good effect. It was a crazy night, and made for a really epic concert.

After the 1+ hour thunderstorm delay the stage was set for a truly stellar show. The opening song, JTR, was wildly appropriate and added a sense of mystique as it was still raining for the first half of the set. The rest of the show was other worldly as it was augmented by bolts of lightning seemed to synchronize themselves seamlessly to the music being celebrated on stage.

After the tornado went through and everyone was soaked and the campground was destroyed, and the delay of the show, Dave played a really good show. They stayed out late to make up for the delay, and were just in a rythm. I remember watching Boyd and seeing him stand with him arms crossed the whole time with no smile, not like he used to be.

I'll forever remember this show as the Storm Delay. Stayed relatively dry underneath a concession stand overhang. Ran out just in time to JTR. Def a song I'll always remember. So fitting. The Two Step-Ants was also a real highlight. The only downer was Road.... uhh... tall Danny Barnes and his wife beater T... haha

This will forever be known as the torrential downpour show. In fact, the show was delayed to a 10pm beginning. Unfortunately, the setlist ended up being as dreary as the weather. This show would have ranked in my bottom five had it not been for the end of the show. It is always good to hear #41, Two Step and Ants.

Dave definitely through everything into the show... Tripping Billies, Two Step, DDTW, #41, and ANT'S MARCHING all in the same night! INCREDIBLE!!! that was my 13th show and the best set list i have ever seen. Better venue?...Spac?... Alpine... NO!!!! NOBLESVILLE!!!!!!

Wow, what a day to eat mushrooms. That shit was intense....as for the show, since it's my 5th one of the summer already, I'm getting kind of bored with the same shit, and I wish a tornado would have touched down and killed Danny barnes. Enough with that guy already, stop letting him ruin your setlist with road. Went from upper pavilion to the 4th row tho, and since Dave actually played after the storm, this show was still a great time

Had lower pavilion seats so with the cover I had no problems sticking around for the rain delay. Loved the energy in the crowd just before Dave came on singing to Sublime. The energy was pretty amazing as everyone was really excited to finally see the band play. JTR opener couldn't have been more perfect. The next few songs had TONS of energy from both the band and the crowd - the addition of the lightning was actually kind of cool.

The energy kept up all the way through Trippin Billies which blew the roof off, but started to slow and falter after that IMO. I like Corn Bread, but not enough to want to see it anymore than I already have. I thought Road was a waste of a song spot and would much rather have seen almost anything in there except maybe I Did It. Enjoyed Gravedigger, but the crowd energy felt like it was lacking at this point and although it picked up for the first part of #41 I felt like the song was just a bit too long for an overtired and exhausted crowd. I'd be okay if I never heard YMDT ever again...I've never really liked this song yet I always hear it.

Two Step --> Ants was a great ending. Enjoyed the Needle and the Damage Done and SDL with the Diggin' a Ditch / Thank You tease but would have rather had a blow the roof off closer like Last Stop or Halloween.

Overall, a great N1 after some adversity with the weather. Perfect start for the first 8 songs, but the crowd was just way too tired IMO to keep up that energy when the set started to slow down. Highlight for me the JTR opener.

This was a memorable show for multiple reasons. First and foremost - a rain delay! Due to a nasty storm front, the show started an hour and a half late or so as everyone endured a nasty storm which had rain blowing horizontally all the way through the pavilion seating section. Finally, with lightning still around the band took the stage.
They might as well have been hit by lightning, especially Carter, since they were on fire. They played with crazy energy. I've never seen a show feature so much Carter action in my 25 shows - he was truly electrified. I almost died after Two Step in particular and then it led to Ants. I thought for sure they would play through with no encore break since I'm sure they get fined for playing past midnight but they didn't finish the show till 1:00am or so. It was only a bit anticlimactic for the So Damn Lucky closer which just had them kinda jam out quietly, but the rest of the show had so much energy that I can't really complain too much. A+

The setlist was very solid, and although there were a few times they left me wanting more, I commend them fully for playing the full set after nearly a two hour rain/lightning delay. The crowd was great for the first hour, but I think everyone was tired and fizzled out a few songs in. The energy from the band was high though, and the jams were great as always!

Good energy from the crowd brought on by the rain delay and lightning. The weather added an interesting buzz to the show. The show itself was played very well, the guys all sounded great. Carter of course killed it any time he had a solo. I thought Boyd sounded on during his parts on billies and on ants. Like everyone else has said about Barnes this tour, it killed the energy of the crowd when he came out and did Road, and they didn't get it back with Gravedigger right after. Overall a great time, sounded awesome and can't wait for N2!

Downpour!! Out of nowhere. That concert was epic. Played during amazing light shows still in the sky. Lots of energy, the band was very alive tonight. How could you not be? In the lawn we had foolishly stayed and got dumped on by lots of rain. Then made it back in to miss JTR :( but heard most of Squirm. :) I love having the Banjo in there, but it really made me want to hear Alligator Pie..aw well..#41 was awesome, loved the solos, wasn't a huge fan of the coffin solo this particular time...but overall a great show. last time i'll get to see them for two years..so :) glad it will be very memorable.

Awesome show. Such a memorable night with the rain storms and the natural light show going on above. JTR opener was definitely appropriate. The energy from the crowd was unreal and the band definitely seemed to feed off that. JTR, Billies, #41 and Two Step/Ants were definitely a highlights of the night. I thought Needle and Damage Done/So Damn Lucky/Diggin a Ditch Tease/Thank You encore was a change for them and I enjoyed it. I thought they had an amazing set and I enjoyed the version of cornbread with Danny Barnes. The addition of the banjo definitely adds something to the song. I was afraid that they were gonna call it though but they played! Great way to end the set with Stepping Ants. And i dont care what anyone says Danny Barnes is a welcome and needed addition to cornbread as its a folky blues song that sounds better with the banjo, and Road is pretty good in itself and that was the first i heard it. Good times!

I made a BREAK FOR IT and took cover under the pavilion, my friends scattered, and I ended up with a great seat up close! Rain and Lightning freaked me out... thought a tornado was to come. I waited in the parking lot when the show started. I was scared of the lightning. Once I grew back my balls and went in, I was back in heaven for the 15th time.

#41 and Die Tryin in the same setlist was amazing. Only disappointment was the So Damn Lucky closer. I mean really Dave??? even with the Thank You/Digging a Ditch tease. Atleast play one more. Lol.

I love DMB and it never gets old. Only thing that gets old is the shit you gotta go through to get to the show (people/friends)... My buddy brought his "girlfriend" b/c she made a fit the week of the shows (even thought my friend and I made these plans 3 months earlier via Warehouse). So he bought her a ticket online right before we left Nashville. Well, the lush/pillhead passed out in the car during the weather delay. Needless to say, she never made it into the show. My friend bailed on me before the encore break to go check on her. Not my fault she couldn't handle a half of my "special" chocolate chip cookies. And I wasn't the genius that fed it to her either.

My #1 Rule when it comes to DMB shows: NO GIRLFRIENDS!

I hate showing up to DMB shows by myself, but I seem enjoy the show more when I do.
