Awesome to see Dave and Tim play with Neil, Santana, and Marcus Mumford :)

It was great seeing Tim show up to play along with Dave. Tim shredded as usual, but set was too short (of course). Loved Tim's guitar on Crush, and closer with Neil was great, Oh Susannah. Thought it would be done a little campier, but solid arrangement and good harmonies between Neil and Dave.... Although Neil did crack me up by forgetting the words in the 2nd chorus, came from Louisiana? Really, Neil? ;
Overall a great show with good sets (imo) from Beck, Mumford & Sons and Arcade Fire, whom I wasn't familiar with. Thought Eddie was a little off, but he recovered nicely from a slow start where he admittedly messed up on a Neil tune. The duet with Beck wasn't the best and a lot of folks sitting near me also picked up on that. The duets with Neil were also great -- Arcade Fire on Helpless, Beck on Pocahantas, and Mumford and sons on ___ (?). Thought the overall closer was a tad weak, but probably my expectation was too high - wanted a blow out encore with Neil and Dave, and maybe Eddie on something like Cortez the Killer, which Dave has been playing a lot lately, or Down by the River, Needle and the Damage ... hey I guy can wish, right? But it wasn't meant to be.... Wish I was going to tonite....

Great, but short, set. Dave's voice was the best, and strongest I've ever heard it. Taking the year semi-off seems to have worked well. Really awesome crush, and a powerful and haunting OOMH. Cant complain, just would have liked more songs. The other sets were good too. Very good Beck set, Santana was in a great groove, Neil was great all night. Such a good show. Hoping for a full Dave and Tim show somewhere on the west coast soon!
