I have been to numerous DMB shows across the country and many in my home state of WI, here at Alpine Valley. However, this was far and away my favorite show of all time. The set list was phenomenal and the band had a high energy and genuinely seemed happy to be playing.

Show #30 for me! It was so freaking hot all day. What better way to enjoy the night though than to listen to 23 songs over the course of almost 3 hours in play-time. Excited for what's in store N2. Easily 4/5 tonight though!

What an amazing show, leaving the venue wondering how the band would top this show....and they just played the longest show ever the next day. Best band ever at their favorite venue. Love me some DMB heaven.

Wow, I'm glad I decided to go to N1 last minute. I would have been quite pissed if I missed it. Blue Water, BOWA, TSTJL, and a great Seek Up in a row was killer! Few other gems in the set too, and a mixture of the more played classics. It's hard to top this.....and so we have night 2....

Finally made it to Alpine after all these years and was not disapointed. The vibe of the venue is what makes this special. Never seen so many hardcore fans in my life, def more than the Gorge. Ending up in the front row in the pavilion and was up the fence behind the pit. Show was really impressive. Seven was a fairly average opener and expected but after that the show took off. You never know sounded really tight, and Best of what's around was just amazing. The partial Blue Water was awesome and hopefully Dave busts out a full version soon. Other songs that were highlights was of course Seek up, Pig, Lie in our graves, and Jane. Great setlist and a very long show. Only letdown was out of my hands and even that did not sound all that bad.

About pooed my pants when boyd hit that first note after dave finished verse of blue water. Not today though. I've never done LSD but the watchtower laser show would have been the time. Extended boyd solo on LIOG, intense. BOWA is my jam and Pig had everyone going crazy. Much better than Deer Creek (Spaceman intro). Sat in the pavilion with no air circulation and 100 degree heat, but nobody cared. Dancing was imminent.

RIDICULOUS!!! I Have attended all 25 Alpine shows and 66 total shows. That being said I might be an expert on Alpine and might know a thing or two about DMB. For starters ALL YOU BITCHES that are hating on DMB for this that and the other, you are the ones that we don\\\'t like inside the show either. You are the ones bitching and complaining about being too hot or whatever. WTF did you expect. ITS APLINE DMB IN 100 Degree heat! Ya think we were cool and you were they only ones that were hot? This IS a top 3 venue of all times for this event. It has 2 Live Trax Cd\\\'s and is about to have a 3rd..N1 for sure and maybe even a weekend boxset. These guys played their hearts out both nights and as they say \\\"left all out on the stage\\\" They are like a fine wine that just keeps getting better and better every time. They played no song twice and a total of 47 songs in 6 1/2 hours. They jammed non-stop and were as energetic as a fricking power plant..get your head out of your ass and grow the F*$! up already. This is some of the best shit you will ever see from a band. There have been a few but there are less and less now a days. To the band THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU FOR LETTIN US BE OURSELVES WITH YOU!! And thanks for putting the plate on the jumbotron both nights! DMBJAMZ !!!!!!!!! APLINE JAMZ!!! Thank You Thank YOU Thank YOU!!!! I will take a FUNKY \\\"Thank You\\\" closer any time and I will always be one of the CRAZY People singing it with the rest 45 minutes after you leave! Can\\\'t wait til next year! P S To Ants.org I agree with N1 ranking of #1 But come on really 22 for N2?? At least a top 5!

Looking back at this set now, the show was probably better than I give it credit for in my head now. Some of that likely has to do with how unbelievable night 2 was though. Seven and You Never Know is a killer way to start any show and it was kinda cool to see Loving Wings. Experiencing Stefan pull out the Banner two days after the 4th was great. Carter would not let Some Devil die, it was awesome to see him keep pushing through that tune.

3. 5 We were on the rail in the pit right in front of Boyd. Hottest show we\'ve ever been to, it was a105 degrees before the show and probably a 100 during the show. The show was very Boyd heavy which made it nice. Highlight of the show was seeing Dave\'s kids for the first time in a few years. The girls stayed on the side of the stage the entire show. Dave looked their way multiple times and gave them funny looks. He walked them off the stage.

N1 was out of this world, and I left the Alpine lots that night asking myself how they could top it on N2. YNK and Pig are some favorites of mine to hear live, and the Crush jam is as good as it's ever been. My 33rd show and 12th at Alpine. Just a very fantastical show all the way around. LONG show, big hits and long songs. Highlights for me were Crush, LIOG and Pig. I love Alpine. This was my 37th show, and I have been coming up to Alpine since '04. This, was an awesome show, but left me a little disappointed. I have seen the likes of SPOON and HALLOWEEN on a N1 of ALpine, so this show...left me wanting a little more of the rare stuff, not the crown pleasers for the people who don't know anything but those singles. I always love LIOG and BOWA and SSB intro was top notch, other than that...come on!
