No BTCS. Sound was horrible. After some reconsideration I did appreciate the highlights of the show: 41, LIOG, STJL, Granny and Two Step. But the poor sound brought it down as did thank you at the end. I want to hear a DMB song at the end not a cover.

Awesome show! Absolutely loved the setlist and all the songs they played off the new album. Indescribable energy that night. Christmas was right around the corner and I remember that holiday season feeling being in the air. Hands down my favorite Dave show I\'ve been too. I loved watching them play indoors. Such a different feel. It was unreal!!! I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ll never forget that night.

Enjoyed Squirm as an opener. 2nd time hearing Time Bomb into Two Step, like that version very much. The Riff was great (my fave off the new album.) Mid set was a bit slow going. Kept waiting for an energetic song to bring it back, which didn't really come until the end. Great crowd vibe, met some awesome fellow ants. My boyfriend caught a USED stick from Carter, which was an epic end to the night!

Lots of new stuff, which is very mellow. I like their jams, but they seemed like:

1. Too many.
2. Too long.

Had a good time, overall, but it was only "eh".

I thought Hartford 5/26/12 was good this year, this show may rival it. Great energy from crowd and band all night from Squirm. #41 never disappoints. Rooftop, Riff into Drunken.....outstanding. Time Bomb into Two Step...great end to the show. Dave dancing on stage during Thank You showed the band was in it all night....jams were crisp and on point.....great Sunday night

This was 25th plus show (since I lost track of a few). We were 2nd row on the horns side. I thought it was incredible, and I caught a stick! Couldn't stop smiling all night. Definitely in my top 2. Boyd tore it up all night, and the band was very high energy as well as the crowd. Can't understand those who didn't enjoy or complained about the setlist/show. I've been going to shows for over ten years. This was incredible. The setlist speaks for itself...GRANNY, 41, LIOG, killer two step, rooftop, snow outside and Jane! Really enjoyed watching Boyd tear it up all night. Seeing Carter's two girls side stage drumming along with him to every song was a sweet bonus. Unforgettable night!

not my favorite DMB show, Hartford last summer was far more enjoyable. top moment: yelling out timebomb!!! Dave smirks, then they drop into timebom> two step.sick new combo, one of the best granny performances I've seen. :) amazing 'Snow Outside' <3

Great show with a lot of new material mixed in with some classics. Snow outside may have been my favorite new live performance closely followed by drunken soldier. All the new songs sounded great. Not sure why some people complain about the set when you get #41, granny, LIOG, WWYS, Jane, two step..etc. This show brought out the best of both worlds with old and new songs. Also nice to hear baby blue for the first time. After seeing them in Hartford this year, I considered this a bonus concert and it didn't disappoint.

Solid, albeit unspectacular, show. Really digging the Time Bomb into Two Step. Very impressed with Snow Outside and Drunken Soldier live. The rest of the new songs need some work to come into their own. Was looking forward to seeing Belly Belly Nice but they haven't yet jammed it out- I'm waiting for it to get a Rapunzel type jam at the end. First half of the show was far to heavy on newer songs- crowd wasn't into it (although I was). Second half, however, was stellar. LIOG definitely the centerpiece of the show.

Of the 15 shows I've seen, this was by far the worst. The band had no chemistry and everyone seemed to be doing their own thing and ignoring everyone else. Boyd looked like he was about to fall asleep. Protip: you can tell how good a show is by how often Boyd goes nuts. It didn't happen much tonight. Setlist was very weak. A decent opening (if Squirm counts as decent these days). Things were going well through 41, and then the bottom fell out. 6 of the next 7 were AFTW songs, and the 7th was a too-long version of So Damn Lucky. The only good thing I can say about the new songs live is at least they're short. I guess a couple might be able to stand on their own one day, but they not nearly as interesting or fun (for anyone but Dave) as even the Big Whiskey songs (which, in turn, aren't nearly as interesting as anything pre-2003). This was the first DMB show where I seriously considered leaving midway through the show. The only thing that saved this show from being a complete waste of time and money was a strong closing run, including a pretty great encore. I used to say that when you have Pit tickets, they could play Mary Had a Little Lamb all night and it would still be incredible. Guess I was wrong.

very solid start, thought it waned a little in the middle, esp with SDL going on forever...but that's just not a personal favorite. the Granny --> STJL run was sick, and Two Step was powerful as always. thought dave's energy was high early then he kinda stopped interacting w/ the crowd halfway through. but it's never a bad time...thought mohegan was a bit more fun, though, would say 3.5 here if the option existed.

first time being in the pit for a DMB show, and this is show #36 for me. have to say it was interesting. they were heavy-handed with the AFTW songs, but i knew this going into it, and wasn't surprised. solid run at the end, enjoyed time bomb-->two step more than i thought i would. only disappointments were the lack of BTCS songs from the set, and no christmas song! oh well...props to the chick who passed out 3 songs in.

Absolutely mind-bending. I have been to 55+ shows beginning in Foxboro, MA in 1999 and including Red Rocks 9/10 and 9/11/05 as well as both Fenway park shows in 2006 and 2009 and have been going to SPAC every, year every show since 2002 as well as many Harford CT and Mansfield MA shows. We tend to be pretty spoiled as far as dmb fans go being located in the Northeast. DMB most certainly never disappoints and last night was no exception. The band opened with Squirm, which is probably my favorite song off Big Whiskey as well as Lying in the Hands of God. I was thrilled. Broken Things - sounded awesome. I was really excited to hear all the rest of the Away From The World tracks I have yet to hear minus the 3 I heard this summer while attending Mansfield N2 and SPAC N1... Mercy, Sweet and If Only, which I liked each equally, upon hearing them for the first time with If Only being my first favorite standout, perfectly placed in the E1 slot following Dave solo #40 partial. Why I Am - Thanks!! Perfect Ode to Leroi - sounded awesome. #41- was the turning point for me and the rest of the venue, alike. Here is where I knew we were in for a gem and not just an average show for this tour, seemingly which they had been playing for the previous 6 shows this tour, with a song debut for the tour here and there. I knew Squirm and Why I Am had yet to be played this tour and #41 had only been played 1 show previous to last night. Great version of #41. Boyd pleased appropriately. Belly Belly Nice - love this song! Greatness Rooftop - beautiful. Loving all the new Away From The World songs. Just what I wanted thus far. So Damn Lucky - Never gets old... Round n around n around n around... etc... No need for a 17 minute version. This one seemed to be about 10 mins which was appropriate. The extended outro gave me my first bathroom break of the evening. Thanks! If Only - As I said. Love this one since SPAC N2 2012. The Riff - \"I.... I want you to.... Tell me that you want me!\" Yes, The Riff, I want you and I got you. Water into Wine (partial) - unexpected and equally pleasing. My buddy who was in attendance proposed to his wife during this song at the show last night. Congratulations Michael Rocheford!!! Best wishes to you and yours!!! Drunken Soldier - beastmode Granny - YES!! Freakin unbelievable. Old favorite pleasing the longtime fans in the building which were seemingly plentiful. Lie In Our Graves - Boyd started out slow and pleased all present. Classic DMB. What Would You Say - brought the house down!! Sounded fantastic and powerful. Had me admittedly missing Leroi on this one but Jeff did not disappoint. The Song That Jane Likes - \"I got a little sister named Jane and this is The Song That Jane Likes.\" EPIC. I LOVE THIS SONG AND HAVE FOR 15 years. One of my all time favorites. I was jumping, screaming and spilling my beer all over myself and the girl and her boyfriend in front of me. Sorry you two (whoever you are)....oops. Snow Outside - WHATTT??? Where did that outro come from?? That shiz was ridiculous and powerful. THEY SLAYED this one. JAMMY JAMMED IT THE F OUT. THANKS DMB Time Bomb - Okay I like this song but I must admit I dont really understand the Time Bomb and then Dave does the Time Bomb intro to Two Step. I miss the older Two Steps where Dave would use the intro to tell a different little story each show... but Time Bomb never disappoints - \"I Wanna believe in Jesus!!\"\"\" yup, me too Dave. Two Step - Uhhhm. Hmmm... Did that really happen?? I HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY 55+ dmb shows. The outro was INSANE. Carter turned this into a POUNDING BEAT that was overwhelmingly infectious and had the place erupting in a DRUM SLAMMING FRENZY with amazing accompaniment from Tim. I thought the SPAC Two Steps from the early-mid 2000\'s, along with Fenway were insane but this topped anything ever X10!!!! Cant wait for the tape for this one alone. Left everyone present grinning and eagerly awaiting the encore. Carters solo was sick as well and he took the opportunity to throw out his sticks now, instead of after the encore. Much appropriate! CARTER IS GOD. Again. Always. Wow --------------------------------- Baby Blue (Dave Solo) - I thought this was Sister upon hearing the opening licks from Dave. Since I do not own a copy of Big Whiskey and have never heard this song live, I had no way to predict this one. Sounded awesome. I like it. Great way to hear this for the first time. Ants Marching - Crowd pleaser/fan favorite. Amazing as always Thank You Falettin Me Be Mice Elf Again - Me: \"WHAT?? NO... He cant be playing this right now.\" \"Oh man, he is\" Are you freaking kidding me? This only got played twice the whole 2012 summer tour, I believe and at Alpine and Gorge, nonetheless. Never thought in a million years we would be getting this one last night. I\'m dying waiting for a setlist scan to pop up on ants or dmbalmanac.com so I can know whether or not this was planned or if it was a nod to the energy and appreciation flowing from the band to the crowd and vice versa. All in all this show was up there in my top 5 with the likes of Red Rocks 9/10/05 and 9/11/05 where I had a meet and greet with Dave backstage before the show and met Carter, Leroi and Rashawn later that night, SPAC 6/21/08, Fenway 2006... etc. This one will live on for a long time with die hard and new fans alike. I\'m still in awe 24 hours later and will be for a while. Cant wait for the tape. Once again Thankyou DMB Falettinmebemiceelfagain and again and again and again.......

Loved this show. #36 for me...Squirm is a great way to start out, gets the energy going. I was 3 rows back, horn side, and i thought the sound was great. I was really looking forward to hearing Broken Things, and it didn't disappoint. Why I Am was rocking as always, and 41 was fantastic. I personally love Belly Belly nice since that first night hearing it from the pit in Pittsburgh, and rooftop / SDL were fun. For some reason I can't get into If Only..the only time I've enjoyed hearing it at a show (4-5 times for me now) was in WPB with Roger Smith on the keys...I love the album version but at a show it just kinda bores me. Riff>Water/Wine>Drunken was AWESOME. Drunken Soldier is an absolute beast of a song. The following run speaks for itself: Granny, graves, wwys, jane, time bomb (love it for some reason), two step. Best two step I've heard yet, Carter went absolutely nuts. Baby blue was nice to hear, its been a while, and a pretty good ants rendition followed by 10 minutes of funky dancing. Great show, the boys were on fire, and a real fun night. People that complain about a setlist (whether online or at the show) honestly just annoy me. I've seen 36 shows now, and I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every single one. Sure, I've had nights where I say "huh, wish they played "____"...but if you don't enjoy a show because of the set, maybe you should take a few years off. Loved it, and can't wait for Manchester next week!

I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers are talking about who didn't enjoy this show. This goes in my Top 5 shows that I've been to. This was my 23rd show and by far the best I've been to in the last 5 years.

Opener: Squirm - can't go wrong - lots of energy.
Broken Things - CAN NOT GO WRONG WITH THIS SONG. Amazing to hear it live - hope it gets jammed out soon.
Why I am - Crowd didn't come as alive as I would have hoped for but, I was dancing with Roi.
#41 - Crowd favorite and was amazing.
Belly Belly - Solid.
Rooftop - Solid
So Damn Lucky - Outro went on about 2 - 3 minutes too long but was very good.
If Only - Knew they were gonna slow it down, but at this point it was the 3rd AFTW and would have Crash, Lover Lay Down.. something older in this slot.. but didn't think this translated too well live.
Riff - This song is one giant orgasm of the mind. Love it.
Water / Wine - This came out of nowhere! Glad it was the short version compared to the '08 extended jams.
Drunken Soldier - tons of energy, which the end of this jammed out a little harder, but it's well done.
Granny - Shocker #2 of the night, crowd loved it.
Lie in Our Graves - 6:00's of Boyd soloing.. can't go wrong.
What Would You Say - wish Jeff had been turned up through the speakers a little more, was hard to hear... but second time I've ever heard it live. Well worth it.
Song that Jane Likes - Shocker #3. Amazing.
Snow Outside - This song doesn't translate well live til the Jam. The jam is fine, but the way they setup the guitar balance just makes it sound whiny and not effective.
Time Bomb - CLUNKER of the night. They do what they can with this piece of trash, but it just isn't my favorite song by any stretch.
Two Step - Rock Solid.. exiting jam was ridiculous.
Baby Blue - Dave's voice held out for this and it is still one of the most powerfully lyrical pieces he's done.
Ants Marching - no tap intro, shorter Boyd solo than in recent years and was great as always.
Thank You - I woulda sworn it was gonna be Billies, Halloween, or Watchtower... just a little bit of a let down as it is one of my least favorite covers that this band does... but they did jam it hard and do it well. It's still stuck in my head... good job boys..

This concert is a solid 8 / 10. Only downfalls for the night are Time Bomb & If Only - even then they did what they could with them. The energy in the arena was sick and the pregame crowd was absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to hear them again in the Garden. I will definitely do PIT again, everyone was super nice and just hardcore fans. 18 Songs before an Encore - amazing. Great night!
