First of all DIDO absolutely rocked! The band had not played it in 50 shows and they just flat out did an amazing job! Although this was the one big surprise for the night song wise, Branford was incredible on WWYS and #41 and that was also a very pleasant surprise to have him guest on those two. Dave had more fun on stage than I have probably ever seen him have, enjoying his band mates as much as he enjoyed the love from the crowd! It was a good good time for all in attendance!

Great show, but I'm not a huge fan of the venue. I prefer outdoor shows.

Great show! I haven't heard 'Drive In, Drive Out' in ages! Awesome sound, lots of great jams with a nice mix of the new album. Surprised it wasn't sold out being this close to Charlottesville.

Went to show with Lauren and Jessica. Got my first Christmas Song! All three of us got our favorite songs: Grey Street, #41 and You and Me

Show #18 for me. Pretty solid show start to finish. The best Grey Street I've heard.

Great Crowd! Some left early to beat the weather traffic, but the music was great! Better than expected.

As always the boys put their all into it and made this a great indoor show! I don\'t know if it was just me or what, but I just had a hard time finding my grove for a while. I really love hearing Boyd and was disappointed he seemed muted for much of the beginning of the show. Maybe that had something to do with it. Although, he\'d definitely unleash some of his finest later. There were definitely some truly great moments throughout the show. As others mentioned, #41 with the Branford Marsalis sax solo was epic in my book and Dave definitely seemed to enjoy the hell out of it. For a moment my mind couldn\'t help racing thinking of times past. Not to take away from the new songs, hearing some of my other favorites like DIDO, WWYS, Christmas Song and Ants Marching (of course the epic #41) made this a solid show for me even after my initial struggle to get into the mix. Did anyone else suffer the terrible echo bouncing off the back of the bowl during If Only? I really like If Only, however, the echo killed it for me. (I was midway up in Sec 118.) I think Raleigh definitely showed their love after the boys long absence with a strong turn out on a really crappy cold, rainy, weeknight. I mean, what else could turn an otherwise crappy day around better than spending just under 3 hours listening to the boys we\'ve all loved over the years bringing it live? Sure there are some great selections in the catalog gathering dust, but it was still a quality show as always. Time to get rested up tonight for what will surely be a great C\'Ville weekend! Safe travels!

sorry to say, I can't remember this one! I drove 5 hours to see Dave and the gang with a narcissistic asshole. Kinda ruined the show for me. They can't all be like Dave, right? LOL

Tim sounded a little "crunchy" on the guitar - I think it could have been mixed better. Interesting set list choices, though - happy to see my first winter tour show since 2005.

KH Great show, loved it from beginning to end. I am always worried the crowd won't be into in Raleigh but I was pleasantly surprised. However with that said they did play lots of crowd-pleasers (WWYS, DDTW, Satellite, Ants and Jimi). Loved hearing #41 and surprised to hear DIDO. Hopefully this show will put Raleigh back on the tour schedule every year again.

My 2nd show. I thought the opening was kind of slow but DDTW was really good. Proudest Monkey and DIDO were a rare treat for this period. I really liked the jam on Mercy, sleep song. Jimi thing was awesome to close the set. Dave needs to tour every December so we can hear Christmas song. Ants to close was EPIC since it was the first time I heard it live. Great show!

We flew into Washington DC the morning of this show and decided to drive the 5 hours to Raleigh. best decision of the trip. Branford Marsalis on 41 was unreal!

Great energy from Dave from the moment he came out. Mentioned several times that they were conscience that the band hadn't been to the area in a couple of years, and it felt like they were trying to make up for it. A lot of standards were played but they were tight and really top notch including DDTW and Jimi Thing. #41 with Branford was outstanding and DIDO was really excellent. Boyd KILLED Ants. The new songs were very nice, but haven't yet expanded as much as I expect them to as far as jams and non-album variations. Of the new tracks, Drunken Soldier stood out. This show gets a four simply because the set list was really really good but not epic. Musicianship, however was epic.

SICK OUTRO IN JIMI THING... I've heard the sexy motherfucker outro before... but this was the sexy motherfucker outro on CRACK. I called the opener which won me a beer, and girlfriend called Christmas song in the encore. Bradford Marcellus (sp) was an awesome guest in #41. This was a great show, I could have used some more old stuff but I wasn't expecting it a cause de the album just being released. The songs they played off of the album were the ones that I would have wanted to hear, minus Mercy (saw it played in Charlotte AND VA Beach earlier this year). Rooftop would have been nice to see, but drunken soldier was SICK. Best live song off the album thus far. Overall, great show. Look forward to next season!

Amazing 32nd show for me!! Everyone was having fun onstage, which was so great to see! I was on the floor off to the left and enjoyed the hell out of being fairly close for a change. Branford was an amazing guest to see again (saw him in Charlotte in 2010 as well!). He added so much to WWYS & #41! Boyd killed it for all of his solos and that is the most animated I have seen him be in a good long while. Dave was his usual funny self. So happy I got to see them close to home instead of having to drive!

Always enjoy. Brandord on Sax was a total treat! Always hate the super messed up young kids that fall and push thru crowd. I also hate teen guys talking music trash without even knowing their names. Whatever. I'm just glad I got to go. The Lumineers were awesome too! Love Dave, Boyd, Fonz, Carter, Tim, Jeff and Rashawn like family. Can you believe how they can put on that show over and over and over again with the same commitment and passion? Im GRATEFUL!!!

Average set, lots of energy from the band and it seemed like they were laughing a lot during the show. I like the jams but they could have cut 5 minutes off of mercy and 41. I think they were losing the crowd.

Christmas song kept this show from being a 3. I think I'm getting hard to please as I hit 30. The show started out strong then a run of about 5-6 songs that lost me. I really liked PM. Grey rocked. Happy with DIDO. Mercy is a great song. I might've given this show a 3 even with CS, but they killed ants at the end. Ps. First show since summer 09....seems like that was the end of the golden years to me.
