It rained so hard, but we were dancing in it! I was the closest I've ever been to Dave. Sad, but understandable, when they couldn't have an encore. As always, still a great show.

Short show, but dancing in mud during a thunderstorm made up for that.

Mud and fun. Amazing energy in the crowd during a torrential downpour! Have seen Ants Marching live many times but dancing to it in the mud and rain with a bunch of cool people in New Orleans was pretty damn awesome!

Drove over 800 miles to attend the Jazz Fest (first time). DMB's set was great. Front row directly in front of Dave. The only dissapointment was the show getting cut short due to the weather.

Decent set list, not incredible. Peak moments were DDTW, #41, Jimi Thing, WWYS, Ants Marching. The monsoon environment and mud dancing made this 3 star show a 4 star show. Lightning cut the show short, no encore. Boyd later said that Two Step was going to be the closer. If they would have switched out Louisiana Bayou for JTR ( \"rain down on me, again & again\") & also played Two Step, this show would have been an easy 5. Memorable show and festival weekend.

Setlist was average. Only surprise was Louisiana Bayou and Dave managed to flub the lyrics. Band seemed out of sorts, as even Rashawn had to fulfill the roll of band-leader and direct traffic. Rain was absolutely horrendous and band missed a great opportunity to pull out an epic JTR. If it weren't for Jazz Fest being great, this trip would have been a bust (sorry this was so negative).

Jazz Fest will never be a DMB show. It is Jazz Fest. You get less than top notch sound. You get none of the light show goodness. You do get the DMB energy that you love DMB for. Funny thing is that the rain seemed to me to make Dave and the boys want to step up their game that much more. When it was done I was drenched to the bone, but at the point of the last beat of Ants Marching I also found myself drenched to the soul. Thanks DMB!

drove 400 miles with hair on fire to get here after seeing the saturday night show in Memphis - worth every minute as this was one of the epic DMB shows i will never forget - my 57th and never had a downpour like this at a show before. Turned it into a mudfest and DMB was the perfect background for a bacchanalia like i've never seen before. People sliding in the mud, dancing in mud up to their knees and everyone grinning at each other like can you believe this.

Funny when the first downpour hit it wasn't affecting the stage at all - dave is like "hey i wish i could be out there with you but i can't be in two places - looks bad, feeling a drop every once in a while" that changed big time when the wind shifted - totally drenched Dave and he played the rest of the show in a shirt that looked like a wet black trash bag lol. brave band as i can't imagine standing there plugged in to all that electricity while getting soaked.

So glad they brought out 41 and louisiana bayou... epic.

Did not live up to the high expectations that Dave normally gives us. No guest acts, short set of a festival.

The stormy weather didn't hinder the DMB experience at all. If anything, the weather made it even better!

Average show. But meeting Jeff in the crowd before and the jamming in the pouring rain in the pit made this show a real beauty !

The set list was fair, but the rain made this probably made this my most memorable show to date. Dave completely butchered the lyrics to Bayou and it was a bummer that the encore was cancelled, but it's not too often you can groove out to DMB in quicksand at NOLA!

Dave played through the rain as it poured down. I don't know how his hands played through it. Unbelievable show, amazing interaction with the crowd.

The rain made it all the more better. Great setlist of the jam classics plus some of the newer stuff. One of the best shows I've been to yet because of the uniqueness of it.
