A truly phenomenal show. I went in with no expectations and the band totally delivered. The show tailed off a bit at the end (bummer to have Tripping Billies cut from the set - this would have help) but overall the flow was stellar and some great cuts were mixed in. Never thought I'd see Hello Again...especially at a midweek Michigan show! The tour debut of Rhyme & Reason into Typical Situation was out of this world.I thought Song That Jane Likes was the only tune where Boyd was missed, otherwise Buddy Strong and the horns did a good job filling in. The sound was great and the vibe was perfect for a gorgeous Michigan summer night. See you next year!

Started on the slow side but had a killer ending. The lack of violin gave ants an interesting new twist. Enjoyed the mix of new and old songs.

Wow, great show. The band was on fire! Not only was the energy high, but the show had a great set: Hello Again, You Never Know, Typical Situation, Rhyme & Reason. It also had the best Ants Marching I\'ve ever heard live--and this is show #86 for me, so plenty to choose from. I thought that a lot of songs would sound empty or incomplete without Boyd, but this was not the case at all. Songs like Recently and Ants Marching surprisingly sounded better without Boyd. The only 2 songs they played where I was missing Boyd were Song That Jane Likes and You Never Know, although neither sounded bad. This was definitely one of my favorite Detroit shows yet!

Great set list for the old timers! It was mellow yet very groovy. I missed Boyd in a number of songs but the band pulled it off with different arrangements. I think this will be the year of transition. Hold on tight!

On the rail, Dave was absolutely getting down cutting a rug, however show was tainted by rude non-athletic jerks who felt entitled to the center spot on the rail despite not arriving there first & even with our political handling of this situation these people’s ongoing bitching throughout. This was further soured by a mediocre set list. I don’t think the added member is necessary, Dave is enough but even 5 feet away we couldn’t hear his guitar. Love our band, but less is more. Bring back D&T!

Excellent show. New mixed with old. Band played with tons of energy and appeared to be having a really good time. Was a little concerned going in regarding the sound minus Boyd. While different, they still sounded really good. Can’t wait for next time!

Amazing show. The energy was high and the set list was great. This was daughter’s first concert and she loved it. I loved the way the guys interacted with each other. They seemed to be enjoying themselves. Ended the show with a spectacular rendition of Ants.

Top 5 show for me. Cory and I had a great time on our road trip. Really enjoyed: Hello Again, Crush, and Typical. Probably the best Ants closer I have ever heard!! Band was pumped.

Given that this is a new album tour, the setlist was amazing, AND the band sounded great. I was worried about how certain songs would sound without Boyd, but I almost didn't notice his absence. Ants was phenomenal!!
