Well, if Raleigh was a 4 for me, I have to give Charlotte a 3. LIOG, Typical and Pig were great, but the sound all night seemed pretty bad from where I was sitting. I was in Section 1, and you could barely hear Jeff and Rashawn and sometimes even Dave was hard to make out (granted some of that was because of the crowd singing so loud too). And not to be a setlist whiner, but there were lots of repeats from Raleigh, which is OK for the new album songs I guess, but Everyday, Sledgehammer, FTWII, and Ants too. And for someone that\'s only been to 7 shows, there are a lot of songs that have been played this year that I\'ve never heard, but I didn\'t get any of them except for Sledgehammer and the CT songs, either in Charlotte or Raleigh. That\'s kind of a bummer.

Great crowd in Charlotte singing louder than Va Beach and Raleigh combined. Love the BEF Into Graves segue that they were doing in 15. Great energy tonight with Billies & Ants both mid set. Always like seeing Typical pop back up. Loved the little outro with Carter and Buddy. Nice to hear the crowd getting into the new songs as well by this point into the summer. Pig obviously was the cherry on top to this one. Great version! Jealous of those headed to FLA! I may never get JTR...

Ranked right up there with both nights at Deer Creek. Dave and the band were really into it, and it showed! The crowd responded! Loved Big Eyed Fish and LIOG back-to-back, and the energy was kept up with Typical, Ants, and a dynamite closer and three-song encore. Don't have a problem with the new stuff, because that's what a band plays after they release an album...duh! And, some of it's pretty good and will become staples over time. Not an overplayed song all night! Wonderful!

Not the same without the violin in my opinion. Seemed to play more new music than usual.

One of the best shows I’ve atremded. The set was random and the bands energy was off of the charts.

Good energy, good song placement. No JT, SC, or CS. What's there to complain about??? :)

Great show, great song selection. Crowd and band both into it. What more can you ask for. Sledgehammer was probably the highlight due to the crowd and the band reacting to each other. It was a blast to watch.

hard to go higher than a 3 when they played six songs from Come Tomorrow album - hot garbage. And get rid of Sledgehammer - it sucked when Pete Gabriel did it, no better now. Band had good energy tonight, especially Dave. Sound was a bit off, could barely hear the horns most of the night and drums were up too loud. Buddy is a \\\"meh\\\", but supplanting a violin with keyboards in most spots is a noticeable miss. The band needs a violin, period.

Great energy. Sounded really good. But was disappointed about certain songs where Boyd was noticeably absent and solos took the place of his sound. Just sort of a bummer.

The concert would have been 5 stars for me if they replaced all the new stuff with ANY songs off previous albums. Every time they played something new, it brought the vibe down... except maybe “Again and Again”. When Dave begins the song by telling me “this is a good song”, I’m immediately like “new song, not going to like it, smoke break”. And judging by the amount of people leaving during the new songs, I’m not the only one. I don’t understand why PNC hasn’t placed some sort of restrictions on bags like other venues have. LIOG is halfway over and the lines outside were still incredibly long and moving SOOO slow because a lot of people (women especially) had MULTIPLE large bags that had to be looked through. I’m sorry but you don’t need to bring in 3 huge beach bags packed with shit. You just don’t. Besides that, the crowd was packed (despite intermittent rain/lightning) and the energy stayed high. The weather did provide for a much more tolerable temperature throughout the show, compared to previous years where it was so hot it was almost unbearable. The band sounded fantastic. There were certain songs where in my head I was expecting the violin parts (LIOG, Billies, Ants, and ESPECIALLY Pig) but obviously they were replaced by other instruments... which worked for the most part. Pig was awesome to hear, and they did great, but that violin part that Boyd used to play when it was just Dave singing was sorely missed. I hope they get a replacement violin player next tour- they can keep Buddy too, I like him, but a violin was a HUGE part of their sound. Dave’s mood and energy was through the roof the entire show- he was dancing in between songs even! And to the people who don’t like “Sledgehammer”- give me a break. Who cares if it’s not their song... neither is Watchtower, but everyone loved it! The song is fun, high energy, relatively short, and it’s worth it to me just to see Dave dancing- he was SO into it last night! For me that was one of the high points of the night. So overall... high points: BEF, LIOG, Billies, Time Bomb, Typical (it really stood out to me last night), Ants, Sledgehammer, Pig, Watchtower. Maybe DDTW also. Also, the fact that they played a 3 song encore! Average: Crash, Everyday, YMDT, FTWII Low points: All of the new stuff.

Good mix of songs. Hearing a few of their biggest songs was nice, and the flow of the set was great. Sound mix was weird at times. Vocals were hard to hear at times.
