Only 17 more days until I leave for DMB in AC!!! It's going to be so much fun!! Sounds like you're driving? Hate the NY/NJ traffic! I used to do that drive a lot when I was going to college in PA. I've only been to AC once but been to other parts of the Jersey shore many times. The beach in AC totally sucked! There were fish eggs (i think) everywhere...all over the beach and in the water! It was so gross!!! Maybe it was just the time of year (I think it was August). Never saw that at any of the other beaches in NJ. I live in Westbrook. My husband and I got the VIP tickets. We could barely afford them! We're basically giving up a vacation this year in order to go (he must love me) But I wanted the VIP ones cuz as I'm getting older I am less tolerant of the long bathroom lines and overcrowding. I need my space or I might flip out!! He's not really a Dave fan but pretends to be one b/c of me. At the concerts, he attempts to sing the songs but he's not even close!

Hows it going? I have been in Maine for about three years and have not come across too many DMB fans. I am from Hartford, CT so I have gone to mostly East Coast shows. I live in Sanford, ME. Where are you? So you are going to AC? I am going with my sister and brother in law. Should be a good time for sure! Just saw your post on the ac thread. Never knew there was a Maine DMB fan group until now! I always thought I was their only maine fan until now! I've been a fan for a long time but never visited the boards much until I started playing the guitar a few months ago and then got interested in the AC thread because I am going!! My husband and I are flying into philly the day before it starts (free tickets using his airmiles) Should be a good time! Really looking forward to it!
